Friendly staff, lovely quiet location
I don't see the point of advertising that a room has a TV when it has a handful of fuzzy channels all in Thai. Satellite channels? That's just false advertising. Also, advertising a Twin Villa, not because it has twin beds but because it's attached to another villa (?) makes no sense. I was disappointed to arrive and see one very small double bed for the room. The staff then put one sheet and a tiny blanket (not even an extra pillow) on the sofa for my son to sleep on, which was not comfortable at all. The restaurant was also pretty grim, the WiFi very poor and the pool dirty with a seemingly high chlorine level as it burned my son's face. The breakfast was not nice at all; we didn't even have it one morning despite it being part of what we paid for.

The place was dark and deserted, I think we were the only ones there, So we did not stay because it was like a deserted Ghost town. From the front desk to the room, I got bitten at least 10 times by mosquitos in about 5 minutes. The room had a musky smell which was clear that no one had been there for a while. I am totally surprised this place is still open. I did not get my money back for the 3 days I had already paid for, but I let that money go because I just could not stay there. It is so far away from everything, not a good location to do anything.

Nice and clean beach and beautifull view to the bay.
Lot of mosquitos in our cottage (upper part of the area).

Nice simple breakfast in front of the beach. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
the resort is in need of some room upgrades, specially regarding the bathroom showers.

wifi awful. looks tired needs face lift
4.5
the location against the hill, the view of the beach and the sea. the privacy and space between the bungalows! The excellent and very friendly staff!
Besides the breakfast which was good, the restaurant did not have any vegetarian options. they sent me to the neighbors for that.

The staff was excellent! They were ready to help and they was very kind.
I didn`t like moscitos, but it was not your problem!

location
Paper thin walls, you could hear people breath next door, resembled a cardboard shed.
a shower that basically just dripped out, many ants in room.

Beach, calmness.
Room was smaller than promised 38 sqm, room we stayed had maximum 25 sqm.
Balcony was dirty, completely covered by bird turd. no cabinet for clothes. no mosquito door net. balcony light wasn't working.
I felt like the worst rooms were given to booking/genius members because other rooms had all of the above amenities.

Staff were pleasant. Accommodation basic and beds uncomfortable and linen old. Great beach area with cafes and restaurants, fire shows every night.
This resort is at the furthest end of the beach and was very run down and neglected. There was no bar or cafe as such, and the staff looked they had given up on making a good atmosphere for their guests. All the other resorts at the beach made the effort and attracted customers which was a life saver. This was by far the nicest and most relaxed beach on the island.

the bungalows where very nice and quiet.fantastic view and a nearly private beach at the end of the bay
facilities where a little dated and are in need of some love. the live concert and daily fireshows in the bay are loud. breakfast could be better.

Helpful staff at lobby, nice renovated room (tropical view villa 2 queen beds), quiet location, nice swimming pool...
No cleaning of the room during our stay, just delivery of new towels. A storm damaged the beach (lot of water coming down from the jungle) so at high tide it was impossible to walk to the other part of the beach. As there is no restaurant at hotel, it became an issue...

Situated at the far end of the beach C Samet offers a private place to relax in seclusion, only a stroll along the beach from the shops, restaurants and other facilities. Lovely roomy bungalows overlooking the sea with the best pool in the resort
We spent three nights here and enjoyed every moment.

Customer service was the best! Great value and an excellent location to tell the World to shut it's mouth and drift away carefree.
Wish I had stayed longer.

friendly staff
Very dirty room, fixtures and fittings broken. Would not recommend to anyone, it was a huge disappointment. Swimming pool was closed and Covid used as an excuse which was a lie. Breakfast was very limited choice, room
was very small, bathroom a disgrace, sometimes had no water for shower and toilet would not flush. The room only had a bed, no other furniture, no place to put any clothes, TV was broken and did not work. Even my 9 year old son complained constantly.
The whole place is unkept and needs a major revamp. I felt sorry for the staff they had tried their best, but don’t believe the pictures you see they are years old when this place was probably half decent.

very nice breakfast in a beautiful surrounding, very nice view also from the room
pool was closed - apparently because of Covid. However, other hotels had their pools open. We arrived around 10 am. Despite the fact that the hotel was almost empty, the management was not flexible enough to let us move into the room

Great quality of the service given by so kind people who speak and Understand English. Great location on the beach in the most beautiful bay of the island near restaurants. Kayaking. So so nice. Thx so much

The location is amazing. Perfectly situated in a quiet bay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was ok with nice views of the sea. A great selection of bars and restaurants nearby.
I think the hotel has recently reopened after the pandemic and unfortunately wasn't quite ready. The swimming pool was closed and the restaurant, although open for breakfast, was closed the rest of the day. This didn't ruin the holiday for us and I'm sure once fully open it'll be the perfect place to stay.

The staff was very friendly and easy going and the vibe of the resort facilities/location were both positive.
This was supposed to be a quiet and reserved location specially for the price you pay but, unfortunately, we experienced the loud noises from other guests while having a night party at the resort area. That was the downside of the stay.
