About this apartment rental
If you're a family in need of an active mountain getaway or quality bonding time, you've found your perfect vacation home base. To make your family feel at home, the owners thoughtfully supplied this condo with many fun extras including a child booster seat, pack-n-play, lots of DVD's, loads of fun board games and toys, childrens' art supplies and books.
Don't worry - if you're a couple wanting a romantic getaway or a group of friends, you won't even notice all the kid stuff. It's neatly tucked away in closets and drawers. And there are books, movies and games for adults too!
At the end of an exhilarating day on the slopes, you'll ski into Timber Creek, leave your skis in your own assigned ski closet and then kick your feet up in front of the warm fireplace in the condo, or soak your tired muscles in the huge hot tub outside.
If you don't ski or snowboard, there's plenty to do. You can relax by the fire and enjoy a book from the condo collection, watch a movie on one of the two flat screen TVs, listen to your favorite music in the iPod docking station or cook an amazing meal for the troops. And don't forget that you're less than a 5-minute walk from the Center Village restaurants, shops and entertainment.
Timber Creek is a gem, with ski-in, walk-out slope access, conveniently located in the Center Village, just steps from the beginner Gem and Pitchfork lifts. If you're not a beginner, you'll take the Gem lift up to access the Super Bee lift and more difficult terrain on the east side of the mountain. Or take a short walk to get to the main Center Village lifts.
This condo is peaceful and quiet despite its convenient location - just far enough away from the busy and noisy main plaza. You'll be on the 2nd floor, so you won't have any loud ski boots stomping above you. Your views are the 'Sky Chutes' to the east and the Gore Range mountains to the north. There's nothing like sitting on your own private balcony, enjoying a local microbrew or soothing hot chocolate while taking in the glorious mountain views!
Sleeping arrangements for 6 people include a king bed in the bedroom upstairs, 2 twin beds in the loft upstairs, and a queen sofa-bed in the living room on the main level. You will LOVE having 2 full bathrooms - one upstairs and one on the main level. You won't find many one-bedroom condos with even 1.5 bathrooms, let alone 2 full bathrooms! And both bathrooms feature a vanity/sink conveniently separate from the tub and shower.
Your group's chef will prepare your favorite feasts in the recently remodeled fully equipped kitchen with sleek granite counters, new cabinets and some new appliances. Everything you need...except for food, of course! You'll gather at the dining table for 4-6, or grab a quick snack at the bar that seats 2. The open layout of the kitchen and living room ensure that everyone is included in the storytelling at the end of an exhilarating day on the mountain.
Additional on-site amenities include a covered parking spot, ski locker, laundry room and a slopeside sauna and hot tub... complete with mountain view and stars.
Please note: Check-in time is any time after 4pm. Check-out time is any time before 10am. We are not able to accommodate an early check-in and/or late check-out.
Payment/Cancellation Policy - We require a 50% initial payment to confirm the reservation and the balance is due 60 days before your Arrival Date. We loved the condo here in Copper Mountain. The location was great. There were lots of activities. The condo was clean, well equipped and comfortable.

We loved our stay with our family. The unit was cozy and comfortable with super easy access to skiing.

nice property -will stay there again

Accommodations were terrific.

This is not ski out but if you're hearty you can hike out to the lift. Its definately ski in. Communication with the owner was excellent. Communication w VRBO wasnt. Also its on the second floor for those who have a hard time with stairs.
It a good location, with covered parking. If able, its an easy walk to center village.

Great location and value. Close enough to walk to Gem lift for ski out and ski in on Skid Road. Walk to Village for dinner and shops.
Would stay again

The place was very warm and inviting when we first arrived. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. I enjoyed the king sized bed while my friends took the two single beds upstairs. The bathrooms were perfect for our needs and when we weren't on the mountain, we were able to relax in the hot tub or on the couch watching TV shows. I would love to come back here for another ski trip to Copper Mountain.

I was disappointed over all considering the reviews painted a different picture. The ski in and out was not as easy as I had hoped. The place needs new matresses and a sofa/couch desperately, along with new sheets and pillows. Very unconfortable to sleep so it was next to impossible to get a good night's rest. The bar stools were very loose and I was afraid they were going to break at any moment. The laundry room and hot tub were far away from our condo, so we didn't even bother using them even though we had planned on it. The property manager did a good job in communicating with us and any time I had a question I got an answer right away. Ultimately we got by and had a decent vacation, but I would not recommend this place.

The condo was as advertised. Clean and convenient. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Beautiful views from porch and windows. The covered parking spot was great. The ski locker at ground level was excellent. Fit all 4 pairs of skis and poles so you don’t have to bring them up the stairs. It’s a 2 story climb to the condo so if you have trouble with stairs it will be difficult. It’s maybe a 50 foot walk to start your day at the Gem rope tow and then ski down to the SuperBee lift. At the end of the day we skied right to the ski locker using Skid Road trail to a hard left at Gem lift then right to the base of the condo. Plenty of appliances and place settings. We had breakfast each day in the condo. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Outdoor salt water hot tub was nice at the end of the day. It’s on the older side but plenty warm and surrounded by beautiful trees. Walk to Center Village is less than a 1/4 mile. Plenty of dinner options in the village. We would definitely stay again.

Location of property is ski- in, near center village- awesome if you're wanting to rest midday, grab a drink, lunch etc.
Our kiddos were in ski school in west village. If you have a car, driving to west drop off is easiest. There is a reluable shuttle system, but you have to walk about 100 yards to bus stop. (Not horrible depending on ages of your kids - can they carry own gear?)

Property was clean and convenient to skiing. Great for families. Slightly dated and bedding could have been a bit higher quality but otherwise cozy and perfect for a weekend trip

We had everything we needed for our group of 5. Very convenient location to the lifts, covered parking. Condo well equipped.

I stayed here on a 3-day weekend trip with the kids. Overall, we had a nice stay and the property was just what we needed.
The condo is located on the end of the building (and has different stairs than other units, which we discovered through trial and error instead of reading the instructions ;) ). You can ski right up to the staircase if you carry your speed on cat track (bonus jump for the kids at the bottom of the hill).
The living area was just right for three people. The couch and easy chair were were comfortable for sitting by the fire and watching TV. Two barstools provided seating for meals (one more would be a helpful addition). The three beds - two twins and a king - were perfect for us.
The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans, and random utensils we needed, along with some tools that came in handy for gear adjustments.
The only minor challenge, true of every condo I've stayed at in Copper, was temperature control. It's well insulated and retains heat. Running the fireplace in the evening really heated the upstairs. The first night was almost too hot to sleep, but we figured it out after that.
If you have two adults and two teens, there might not be enough seating in the evenings, depending on how much space you want.
We'd definitely stay here again with the three of us.

It ended up being just me and my two young boys, but this spot was just the right everything! It was the right size, right location and right choice for us!

Very convenient to skiing.!!

Good location
Location with outside ski lockers was great. The trail leading to the condo is used by the ski school which transports student via sled. This creates huge snow ruts, although not a condo owner issue. One complaint was the condo only had five towels and one face cloth. For a condo that sleeps 6, a minimum of 2 towels per person should be available. I messaged the owner but no reply. Would stay at this complex again, but maybe another unit.

It was very clean, within walking distance of food and entertainment. Clean and warm, liked the ski gear storage and able to literally ski up to our stairs. Cover parking was a blessing!

Basic but Sufficient
This is an older property with very narrow bathrooms, limited electrical outlets, and insufficient lighting. You’ll have to climb three flights of stairs to get to the condo, so not recommended for older folks in ski boots.
The kitchen is adequate, but one of the under counter lights was not working.
Lamps didn’t work in bedroom or looking living room, There are not nearly enough hooks for hanging things like coats or towels. There is no mud room for coats or ski boots so it’s very tight near the entrance and dining table.
The mattresses on the twin beds were worn out or low quality. The master bed was fine.
It was an adequate abode but certainly not luxurious or a treat that you would expect for the rate. It tends to be a dark space, and if the lighting were better, I could have enjoyed reading while relaxing.
The upstairs tv is not a smart tv, but the downstairs one is. The remote controls for the downstairs tv are weak, in that the buttons don't always work when pushed.
We did not use the hot tub or sauna because they are too far away, and outside. You have around the back of the building and then enter a gated area with a key.
There just weren't any luxurious or thoughtful touches that make your vacation stay a treat.

Loft
Overall it was an OK 1 night stay. Good Mountain Views and a nice fireplace. For the bad- The TV cable went out numerous times, there was no coffee and the shower head needs upgrading. The host allowed us to park our car in the reserved spot on our day of check out while we hit the slopes which was nice and accommodating.

Great weekend getaway
We had a great stay at this condo! There is a great Mountain View and basically everything you need is within walking distance. The only thing I didn’t realize from the pictures was that the main bedroom was upstairs on the loft. I had been picturing that the master bedroom would be on a different floor. Just made for a little less privacy.

Nice Getaway
This is a very nice, well maintained and furnished condo offering a VERY comfortable bed and all other amenities. Cool at night, it could have used one or more portable fans to overcome the daytime heat and, traveling with a young child, it could have been more child proof, especially the living room television he was determined to topple :)

This is a nice smallish but we’ll equipped condo convenient to the mountain and village.

2021 April skiing
Convenient to slopes, short walk to the lift. You can take a cat track back to the condo at the end of the day. The place needs to be updated, but it was fine for the weekend.

Cozy but basic
Overall this property worked well for our family for our first ski trip - the location was very convenient. The queen bed and two twin beds were fine but the sofa and pullout bed were pretty uncomfortable. The showers were very low pressure. For the price I feel like we could have had slightly higher quality, but recognize we paid for convenience of location.

Views as promised! Loved skiing back to condo after long day! Stairs a little difficult for this 69 year old skier, but I managed!Hide-a-bed had issues, but we managed. Had stayed at this building before in 2012 and would choose it again! Really Timber Creek is one of the hidden Gems at Copper!

Spring Break at Copper
The condo was truly ski in. Right at the base of the Green Acres beginners area. There were 4 adults and two toddlers in our group, so it was snug. The condo is small, but comfortable.

Will not be back
This condo was dirty, dusty and in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture is extremely in comfortable, the bar stools are rickity and felt like just sitting in them they would collapse. The sofa bed is broken! You can't even pull it out so you shouldn't list it as "sleeps 6" , the showers were both dirty, there was hair in the drain and leftover shampoo and conditioner. It is t exactly a ski-in/out as listed unless you are skiing the bunny hills, and you can't ski out, you have to walk up the hill. The dishes and silverware were not cleaned very well, like the dishwasher didn't quite get the job done. There were crumbs all over the kitchen floor and living room carpet. The couch and chair are extremely uncomfortable and have stains. We brought blankets and covered them just so we could have a place to sit. I was very disappointed, especially since the cleaning fee was so high and the condo was filthy! Never again! Would not recommend!

Not quite a ski-in property unless it's the Bunny Hill, but close enough to the lifts after a short walk

Very cozy, convenient place
We stayed here for 4 nights between Xmas and New Year's. The parking spot is a covered outdoor spot and it is nice and tall for large vehicles even if you have a pod/skis on top. It is close to everything you need in Center Village, including restaurants, a small market, shops, and a candy store. It is a short walk to the lifts as well. The upstairs master bed was very comfortable and was convenient to have two twin beds close by in the loft for kids. If you are counting on the couch bed, it seems to difficult to get in/out of the couch and did not look super comfortable. The air mattress in the unit also had a hole in it. However, the place was super comfortable otherwise and we would definitely stay there again! It was nice having a bathroom on the main floor with an extra shower. There are some baby/toddler amenities and lots of puzzles, some games, movies to watch. The fireplace was amazing in that it was on a temperature gauge and would turn on and off on it's own. We had a really great experience!

Awesome!
We loved it. True Ski in Ski out condo. The stairs going up and down are a bit of a task but nothing crazy. Cozy cabin feel. Very comfortable condo. Parking is great. Ski locker is great. Really amazing how you can easily ski right into the condo. Best thing ever. No walking after a long day of skiing. High recommend to any and all

Almost perfect, needs an overhaul.
Great location, great mountain. Copper has become my all time favorite. "Green Acres" behind condo was perfect for teaching my 3 yr old grandson how to ski for the first time. Condo is in need of a makeover. Furniture is well used and not comfortable. Bar stools were wobbly and felt like they were going to collapse. Sofa bed is not comfortable to sit and is unusable to lie down. Condo is perfect for a couple or small family. It is not suitable for "6" people- adults. Paid a cleaning fee but had to vacuum 3 times before it was suitable for grandsons to crawl around the floor. Food crumbs were under the baseboard heat, kitchen counter and high counter. 3 yr old also found a advil capsule under the high counter. We left the condo cleaner than when we found it.
