About this apartment rental
Condo 302 is located in a new 5 storey exclusive building. Stylish crown molding, marble and tile throughout, airy French doors opening onto a juliette balcony, beautiful shutters to adjust the light within, the Condo is classic architecture with contemporary style. Our location is steps to the wonderful Jean Talon Market, "the Marche", Canada's famous Old World Market. This entire city block invites you to savour the flavours of Quebec: breads, cheeses, produce, meats and sweets. The vendors beckon "'Try this', 'Taste this...right now', 'Take this home for dinner tonight', 'Bonne journee'." Immerse yourself in an everyday life that is, somehow, different. Feel the steady pulse, the gentle rhythm of our Nord Villeray neighbourhood, Montreal's next upscale area. Those who love food come here often.
Our 976 square foot condo is tastefully furnished with down sofas, excellent beds, dining table and chairs for six, two separate desks and additional casual seating. The kitchen and bath are generously equipped for your everyday living while away. Dormier wool mattress covers, luxury cotton sheets and towels, Denby and china dinnerware, pottery and assorted sizes of wine glasses are provided. Soaps for your personal, kitchen and laundry needs are supplied. Cool in summer, warmed by the gas fireplace in winter, Condo 302 provides classic comfort, quiet and privacy. It is the place from which to venture out and return home to at the end of the day. Elevator access is via the below ground parking garage (designated space provided, remote control access) or from the Lobby entrance at street level.
To explore Montreal using public transit, walk 30 seconds to the de Castelneau Metro Station or catch Bus 55 to the top of Old Montreal. Either way, public transit access is excellent. STM 'OPUS' passes are available from us. Step out in any direction to enjoy the love of food in many languages in the local bistros and restaurants. Stroll across the boulevard to enjoy a walk around the lake or through the pleasant spaces of Jarry Park. Perhaps you are en route to play a game of indoor tennis at the Centre Uniprix , open year round, or to attend the Rogers Cup Tennis Tournament in August. Rent a 'Bix' bike and pedal the neighborhood streets. On rue de Castelneau, venture into little specialty shops and, for a moment...step inside the church L'Eglise St.Cecile, the Patron Saint of Music. Visit village shops in Little Italy right here at boulevard St. Laurent and rue Jean Talon, or travel further east to shop both sides of rue St. Denis and rue St. Hubert.
You have the exclusive use of the Condo, to come and go as you wish. You are invited to make 'comme chez nous'... to feel at home. It will be our pleasure to arrange your stay. Three night minimum as of May 1st, 2023.

Susan's property is very comfortable, clean and spacious. It is well situated near Jean-Talon market and close to the metro. The photos on VRBO do not do the place justice.
Susan and Lora are very pleasant people to deal with and responsive to emails. However, as an international traveller, it was disappointing that we could not communicate via Whatsapp, Signal or Messanger. These platforms allow travellers to use data to call or message, rather than using telephone providers. International roaming can take several hours to connect and it is expensive. This is something for Susan and Lora to consider if their clientele is international.
Otherwise, it was a very comfortable and quiet apartment, so we would recommend it to others

Everything went smoothly. Location and apartment were great. Parking was a huge bonus. Great value

This was the perfect location for us and the underground parking garage was a great feature. We just parked the car and used the Metro.
The place was clean. And Lora is so pleasant! Thanks Lora. Truly felt like we were being hosted by family.
The space has lots of furniture and every cupboard is filled with plates, cups, cutlery which leaves no place for storing your groceries. It was okay for us as we only bought a few breakfast items and snacks as we were out and about all day. The appliances were amazing! I might just buy myself a dishwasher just like the one in the condo!!
Lots of towels, face cloth and the fact that there is a washer/dryer in the condo was also an added bonus!
Beds and linen were comfortable. The place was quiet. We had great night sleeps.
No issues connecting to the wifi and we had 4 devices.

Outstanding choice - very spacious, comfortable beds, lots of dishes, dishwasher, washer and dryer all very easy to use - tv was a little challenging but Lora was very helpful giving us a lesson. Lora was amazing - living right next door - she had suggestions for places to eat and was very responsive when we needed her. Location was fantastic - a block from metro and a few blocks from great market - Jean
Talon. - highly recommend.

The condo is spacious, clean and the perfect home base for exploring Montreal. We found the desk filled with maps and guides super helpful. It is an easy bus ride to Old Montreal and a short walk to Marche Jean Talon. It was great having a secure spot to leave our rental car. The owner Susan and manager Lora are very helpful and accommodating. Merci for a great stay!

The apartment is spacious and clean, with everything you need. Beds are super comfy. The neighbourhood is lovely, with a big park next door, lots of places to eat and an amazing food market.
The owner Susan and manager Lora are incredibly helpful and kind. Our luggage was delayed by a few days and they went above and beyond to help us. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

This apartment is PERFECT!
-apartment: clean, had everything we needed, everything! We only used one of the two beds and slept well. Dishwasher/washer/dryer. Trash chute across from door. The mattress was very comfortable.
-location: Metro (subway) stop 60 seconds from the building's front door. Near a delightful and huge outdoor market, open 7 days a week; an easy 8 minute walk. We bought lots of fresh fruit and veggies. The bread store there is wonderful too! One block from a very nice city park. Three blocks from "Petite Italie," aka Little Italy. We loved the great food and gelalto.
-check in/out: Lora was amazingly helpful and lives next door. We enjoyed meeting her and she knows the area well.
We hope to return here in the future.
LOVED this apartment!!

We had a nice stay, and the condo was even nicer than it looked from the pictures. Everything was well set up and easy to find. It was nice that the condo is located only a block from the subway entrance and also a short walk from the Jean Talon market, where you could buy nice ingredients to cook with if you wanted to (and for people like me there is McDonalds next door).

Very nice place to stay - super quiet and close to the Jean Talon Market. Easy access to the metro. It came with parking which made it nice to have a car and not worry about parking. Loved the kitchen since it had everything you’d need - we could go over to the market everyday and get fresh produce and meat then stay in for dinner versus going out every meal. Very wonderful staff with providing easy check in/out as well as directions. We definitely would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay in this 1-BR apartment near Park Jarry in Montreal's Little Italy. It was clean, spacious, secure, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The site manager, Lora, lives in the unit next door and was easy to reach and very helpful. Terrific (mostly residential) neighborhood just a few minutes away from Marche Jean Talon (a wonderful farmer's market) and a few steps from the de Castelnau Metro stop and on a bus line that leads to Old Montreal. We would gladly stay here again!

We chose the property because of the location and the fact that garage parking was included. We were very happy with the rental for many reasons: the location, comfortable beds, close to Metro, garage parking, great price, great communication from owner and manager. My only suggestions would be to replace the stained bedroom carpet and to not advertise the rental as "No Smoking" if smoking is permitted. Although the unit was clean and we truly enjoyed our stay, it did smell strongly of cigarette smoke.

We were so impressed with this property. It was probably the cleanest home we have ever rented. The property manager Lora was great. Detailed, informative and clear communications were provided. The OPUS passess came in very handy. It was a Perfect stay for us. The apartment was very spacious and the building had an elevator. Great for family with Strollers! Cant wait to come again next year. Beds were very comfy and well made.

Susan, the property owner, was very responsive and helpful during the booking process as well as the weeks leading up to our trip, the property owner answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She even gave me suggestions on areas and sights to see in Montreal.
When we arrived in Montreal, we had to meet Lora, the owner's cousin, at the local outdoor market (Jean Talon Market) that was a few minutes from the condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, sheets, blankets and the comforts of home. They really put themselves in the traveler's shoes and were so thoughtful with all of the special little touches.
The condo was in the perfect location and so close to the Metro, Bus stop, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again in the future!
