About this house rental

Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee by the pool while gazing upon the peaceful canal and basking in the warm Florida sun. If that doesn't sound good enough, the beach is only a 15 minute drive from your cozy getaway.

The house harbors laminate flooring throughout, with all new modern furniture. Our 3 bedrooms can easily accommodate an entire family. Our two full baths means that there won't be any fighting over shower time. The property is equipped with 3 flat screen TVs. Our breakfast nook has a nice pool/canal view with just the right amount of sun in the morning. The den area is perfect for hanging out at any time during the day. Our dining room table comfortably seats 6, and our kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The barbecue outside is perfect for grilling up vegetables, meats or even ribs. If you don't feel like cooking, there is an array of good restaurants around.

What is there to do?

Besides the obvious beach outing, there is plenty of golf to be played. Our home is surrounded by 5 golf courses. If golf isn't your thing, you can take a leisurely stroll around the friendly neighborhood and enjoy all the wildlife or just relax and observe it from the backyard. If the kids are itching for more entertainment, Disney World is an approximate 2 hour drive. Want to head over to the white sand beach of Clearwater? That's a little less than two hours as well. Rotonda West, is situated in the heart of it all with plenty to do.

At the end of the day, you can cozy up on our patio outside and wind down with a good book and a glass of wine or take a late night dip in the pool, screened with insects mesh to keep them away.

The house was very clean and had literally everything you needed. Everything was labeled like lightswitches and it made it very easy to navigate an unfamiliar home. My children loved the pool and the house is close to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Narcisa was very attentive and kind and responded quickly to messages. She’s a great host and we couldn’t recommend the home more!

We have stayed in this area before and were very pleased with this property. We went to the different beaches and ate at many of our favorite places. My grandson improved his swimming skills. We all loved sitting on the dock by the canal. Great place and location.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a great location close to many beaches where we found lots of shark teeth and shells. Host was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay again in the future.

We loved the house and the pool. Canal was wonderful and we seen lots of wildlife. Even an alligator in the canal. Clean house and enjoyed a free bottle of wine. If we return to the area we will stay again. Thank you so much for the great experience

Beautiful house and property! We spent our time in the pool, on the beach and in the backyard fishing and watching the birds and turtles. We loved the close proximity to beaches, restaurants and shops. Owner is ver friendly and communicative.

The home was very lovely and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the patio and the pool. The host was wonderful, responded immediately to any question we had. But there weren't many because everything was exceptional. Plenty of restaurants and two beautiful beaches within minutes of the home. Looking forward to returning again.

We totally recommend this property and owner to people wanting a nice quiet place to stay not far from the beach on Don Pedro Island. Rotonda West is near the town of Englewood which is quiet/ not crowded at all. Traffic is light. 45-50 min to University Mall in Sarasota. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing!

My husband, three teens and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house is peaceful to come “home” to after golfing and visiting beautiful beaches. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful and the canal was fun to watch for wildlife. The home is stocked with pool toys, beach chairs, and we played a lot of ping pong in the garage. We also used the blow up volleyball net in the pool for a few games. Would recommend staying here for sure!

We loved Narcisa's home so much we booked for 2024 just after being there for 2 weeks. My husband and I have used VRBO for many years and this was our best experience ever. All our questions or concerns were dealt with immediately and the location for my husband was outstanding. He had 5 golf courses to play within 4 to 10 minutes from the house. The pool was a good size and the house felt like home . We were there for a month and our children came for a week and they were so happy we were close to several beaches. Publix was 5 minutes away and a great store grocery store . A bit more expensive than Wamart but well worth the fresh produce , meats and especially their seafood. My husband could fish off of the dock and the wildife is abudant right there on the property. Thank you again to Narcisa and her staff for our best holiday ever. Carole and John( from snowy Ontario)

The kitchen was really very well appointed, better than any other place that we've rented. So for those who cook a lot-which we did, it was great. The house itself is great-has everything you need and then some. The host was also great to work with. Would stay again if need to be in that area.

Very clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for our stay. Good sandy beaches within easy distance, plenty of excellent restaurants relatively close by. We have been visiting Rotonda over many years and enjoy it because it is not too "touristy"

Unfortunately Hurricane Ian hit 4 days into our stay and we were subject to mandatory evacuation. I understand that the property was badly damaged in the hurricane so we had to move out after 4 days.

We had a very nice time at this house! Just a short driving distance to Blind Pass, our favorite beach there. All shopping and food was close by as well. It was so nice to swim and relax in the hot tub too. We really enjoyed the wildlife and all the amenities.

We had a really enjoyable stay with no stresses at all. The whole process was so easy especially communication with the property manager who was readily available and so very happy to help, nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself was ideal for our young family (2 adults, 3 children under 10). The children loved the pool, it was such a good size and the pool area just perfect! I would definitely recommend!

Narcisa's villa was everything we expected and more. The villa was clean and well maintained, including the pool area. Narcisa, the property owner was very attentative to our needs, and she was very responsive. Neighborhood was very quiet and somewhat close to good beaches. We would book again, if available, when we return to the gulf coast area. We had a great two months. Thanks!!

If you are looking for a place to stay close enough to have a different adventure each day look no further. We visited a different beach each day and had a pool day. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. Loved the canal behind the house. The host is great and we would absolutely stay here again. The house was very clean and had all the little extras such as soap and toilet paper.

From the first communication to this review, the property manager was “SPOT ON” and very prompt. The property itself is perfect. Located in a quite neighborhood and close proximity to everything you need, including terrific beaches. The whole property was well organized, laid out , and super clean! It was also nice to have a garage to park in. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with the kids and us, the older kids. WE WILL BE BACK! The biggest thing that I enjoyed having was the quick and easy communication with the manager. Thank you again and we will see you next year.
