Great location across street from boardwalk and view of No Rustico Harbor, great for walks and exploring including town and direct access to beach area.Cottage very comfortable with a coastal theme.
The only issue we had was with slightly malfunctioning plumbing, including toilet, shower and kitchen sink.Owner responded but issues weren’t completely resolved but they are very nice and would certainly rent from them again!

Thank you Cathy and Leslie for another lovely vacation in North Rustico. Lots of walks on the boardwalk, fresh fish every day from the fish market, and pastries galore from the bakery. Also thanks for ALL your help with our check out.

This was the perfect location for our stay. Close to bike rental, kayaking, walking path, great restaurants and centrally located to within 30 minutes to all we wanted to visit. A home away from home with super hosts who came by to make sure everything was perfect

My sister and I loved every second of our stay at this lovely cottage. We ate our meals out on the deck watching the boats in the harbour and the peaceful water view. The cottage is central to everything we wanted to do and it was lovely to stroll down into the town to the bakery and grocery store. Such a lovely spot! Cannot wait to return next year!

Everything just clicked. Fabulous location and the house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - the photos don't do it justice. Location is great, a short walk to shops & restaurants. Comms with the owner was easy - would thoroughly recommend.

Was everything we imagined! Great house, well stocked, very clean. Wonderful area! Friendly people and great restaurants!

The house had a perfect view of the bay where the lobster boats came and went. This is a house not a cottage, which was so clean with plank flooring, lots of seating in the living room, full kitchen, lovely dining area, one bedroom with a King bed, the other had two twins. There was a washer and dryer in the basement. The back deck was wider than the home and has a gas bbq. The back lawn is extensive and has a fire pit. If you are considering staying here, you will not be disappointed

So disappointed that due to the extensive damage to PEI by Hurricane Fiona we were unable to make it to Cathy's lovely property in North Rustico. Was glad to hear from Cathy that they suffered no damage and hopefully all of PEI will recover in the near future. Cathy communicated regularly during this difficult time and was very responsive to our concerns. When it became apparent access to the island was limited, she didn't hesitate to issue a refund for our stay. Our hearts go out to all on Prince Edward Island. Please note, I was unable to submit my review unless I indicated ratings - obviously since I never stayed, my ratings are based solely on the listing information.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay in North Rustico. The home is lovely and equipped with everything you need to make your stay perfect. We enjoyed starting our days by sitting on the porch watching the fishing boats go by and ending them with a stroll on the boardwalk. We have already rebooked for next year and cant't wait to return.

We enjoyed our week in the Rustico Harbour House. The house is very comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out at the harbor. It is also a convenient spot. We walked on the board walk to the North Rustico beach almost every day to swim. We loved that we could walk down the road to buy groceries, ice cream and fresh local seafood. Also close to all of the other sites in the National park. We highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay in North Rustico. The house is a short drive to Cavendish, PEI National Park and only 30 minutes to Charletown. The boardwalk in front of the house is awesome. The boardwalk takes you to the Wharf, restaurants, the beach and more. The house is in a perfect location for a true PEI experience. From eating mussels/lobster to deep sea fishing. The house was perfect for our little family and well equipped with everything needed. Our host was awesome. Thank you again. You made our first experience in PEI a memorable one.

The cottage has a lovely outlook over the harbour, and is a short walking distance along the boardwalk to all the local restaurants (and the theatre, beach etc.). The hosts are very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We hope to go back, which says it all, really.

Wonderful experience!
We have rented many homes for vacation over the years. This was our best experience by far. The house is comfortabe, spacious, and spotless. Cathy and Leslie are perfect hosts - attentive, enthusiastic about our experience, knowledgeable, and so friendly. The location is amazing right on the harbor with restaurants, grocery store, shops, and beach within short walking distance and the beautiful promenade across the street. Between the large deck and farmers porch overlooking the harbor, we didn't know where to sit first!! Large windows offer great views from all over the house. We have found our favorite PEI location!!

Exceptional property
My husband and I stayed for a relaxing six days in this lovely home in a quiet neighbourhood over looking a harbour. The house and amenities were as listed. The views and location were exceptional. We were close to the beach and some very good restaurants. We enjoyed watching the harbour activities from the living room and the front patio. We even watched an osprey dive for food for it’s young.
We will not hesitate to book this property in the future.

PEI Paradise !
We had a lovely stay in this ideal spot! The house is stocked with everything you need and the decor is beachy and bright. The view is amazing even from indoors - water views from bedrooms, living and dining rooms! A perfect home base for our golf and kayak outings. We put the kayaks in the water right out front! :)

North Rustico Retreat
Had a wonderful stay. Perfect spot for our family. Beach, bakery, ice cream and great food only a few minutes walk away along the boardwalk.
Nice deck to relax and view the boats and blue herons coming and going.
Perfect location only 25 minutes to Charlottetown and 10 to Sandspit.
Highly recommended.

Location, Location, Location!
My family of 4, including 2 teens, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cathy's cottage. The views from the porch, living room and bedroom were spectacular - whether watching fishing boats go in and out of the harbor first thing in the morning to watching the moonlight ripple on the water at night. The boardwalk is right across the street. At one end, we walked or rode our bikes into town for fresh baked goods at the bakery, pantry items at the grocery and even a friendly ice cream store and quaint craft/gift shops. At the other end of the boardwalk are more gift shops, a kayak/bike rental (the harbor kayak tour was lots of fun!), the Blue Mussel restaurant (pricey, small portions, but delicious) and of course the famous red sand beach. Many days we didn't even leave town, there is so much to do right in North Rustico!
If you do venture out of town, North Rustico is centrally located on the island, so it's just a short ride to Charlottetown, Cavendish, Brackley Beach (make sure you visit the drive-in!) and New Glascow for the lobster suppers and PEI Preserve Company (highly recommend both!).
Cathy's house is well-equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing vacation and decorated in a tasteful, beach theme. She quickly responded to our inquiries and needs and met us on our way on a bike ride into town to the bakery. We will definitely be returning to this lovely home the next time we visit PEI, without question.

We enjoyed our stay in Cathy's cottage. The location is perfect for us with 2 kids, across the street is a boardwalk to the pier and a nice playground for the kids to play. Shops, restaurants, market and our favourite bakery (Olde Village Bakery) is only 2 mins away. We walked in the morning to get fresh baked bread. Museums, National parks and beaches are only 5 mins away. We highly recommend her place!

Holiday Aug 3 to Aug 17 - Happy Days!
We had a great time in this lovely cottage in North Rustico. Everything about the property was exactly as quoted in the rental listing. We cooked 'a lot' so the kitchen and dining table were a great gathering place for our party of 4 adults during our stay. With the fish market so close - just a 5 minute walk down the boardwalk - we enjoyed many delicious meals of 'really' fresh seafood. The property is close to everything you could need - without having to leave town. Cathy and Leslie were lovely hosts - right there if you needed any help. I would certainly recommend this property to any of my family and friends looking for a place to rent on PEI. We are already looking forward to a return holiday in 2020.

5-Stars Across the Board
From the cottage, to the weather, to the location, to the owners - Cathy & Leslie - themselves, this experience couldn't have been better; five stars for any category you can think of.
The cottage - clean, well equipped, beautifully outfitted, and located overlooking North Rustico Harbour leading to lots of "porch time."
And Cathy and Leslie were the icing on the cake. She stopped by twice while we were enjoying some porch time and he stopped and chatted for a little after coming by to put the trash can away. Really nice people. Wish they had stopped in even more.
We highly recommend spending your vacation at this cottage.
