THIS AREA WAS NOT AFFECTED BY THE HURRICANE. WE ARE 110 MILES FROM ASHVILLE. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, PEACEFUL, - Nantahala Forest, Large Running Creek, Hot Tub, Fireplace Log Home. Motorcycle Friendly Home, loves Harley Riders. U DO NOT need a 4 wh drive to access this cabin. Roads are well maintained and easy access all the time. This log cabin, two stories with loft,wraparound covered porch, large fire place, and a game room with large tv and pool table. A creek that runs the length of property and the hot tub looks onto it. This is a favorite cabin for families and newlyweds. It is completely furnished, dishes, tv's, big screen, theme rooms, leather, tv./game room with pool table. The favorite cabin of all. The entire cabin was remodeled in 2020. Beautiful Home. and DOGS are ALLOWED for an additional fee. We NOW have internet. You are close to Cherokee and Cherokee Casino (30 minutes). We have a new Casino in Murphy, closer, Valley River Casino. You are 30 minutes from Maggie Valley and can ski in the winter and go tubing down the mountain.. You can take day trips to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee (approximately two hours). You can river raft on the Nantahala Gorge, hike, bike, and horseback ride. Waterfalls are wonderful. Zip Lines..The cabin is like a mini heaven. One pet will be allowed with a non-refundable $100.00 deposit with prior approval. Dear pike family, the cabin was amazing, the seclusion and scenery were absolutely beautiful. The family and i really enjoyed the whole house. We will 100% be renting it again in the future. Thank you all for renting the cabin and letting other families enjoy the experience.

My group (4 riders) stayed here for a week while we rode the Dragon and surrounding areas. The cabin was great, clean, and well furnished. We enjoyed the trip and having the motorcycle shop nearby helped us out for any surprise repairs needed at Cherokee County Cycles.

This property was amazing and also the owner. I called and complained about refrigerator and freezer not cooling and she immediately went to Lowe’s and bought a new one and had it out same day. House was very clean when we arrived and no issues found. Already talking about renting this property again next year

Great stay. Kitchen was stocked nicely with pots pans and the like. Been to many places with lots less. Furniture was comfortable. Great location and will stay there again. Only one downside, slow internet.

Area was beautiful. Some issues we had was that there were a ton of red wasps inside the home. Husband is allergic to them, freaked him out. Loft area had an A/C unit in the window and part of it wasn't closed, I figured the wasps were coming in from that. I finally got that fixed and didn't let the kids stay up there just in case more came back. Pool table needs a new felt top, a lot of damage to it. Needs a really good cleaning, floors completely dirty, our feet were completely black from the floor. Also, the dryer needs to be fixed, would not dry our clothes at all. I think it needs a new heating element. Best part of the trip was the creek on the property, it was so peaceful listening to it.

We stayed from 11/14-11/19 for a wedding and it was so nice. My children (4 and 11) slept in the loft and we all loved how comfortable the beds were. We ate dinners on the porch listening to the creek (which we HAD to play in even though its freezing), fixed all the wedding stuff infront of the fireplace, and loved every minute of our stay. The hot tub was the perfect touch and this tired momma needed it at the end of each day. I cant wait to bring my family back and stay again!

This is a wonderful property. Everything works as advertised. The yard is great. The house is well decorated and spacious but needs an extreme deep cleaning, plus wear and tear maintenance. Access is easy. Neighborhood is quiet. Owner was very helpful on phone during booking with questions. Convenient for activities in the Smokey's. My family has enjoyed this property twice. Good Value, Good for Family's who need to unwind.

Kitchen drawer face was broken when we got there, upstairs bath sink does not drain so you cant use it. , there was not much firewood for the fire pits .The wifi was on the the brink and didnt work. none of the pool sticks have tips, overall we are guys and made it work.

This cabin is tucked nicely along a mountainside in a cabin community. Our kids and pup loved the green lawn out-front for playing, and the creek was a huge hit. It was lovely to be up on the porch listening to the creek with a warm coffee. I gave this listing a ‘three-star’ because the beds are old, uncomfortable, and need to be replaced, and the kitchen lacked clean baking sheets and non-stick pans. There are a ton of scratched-up Teflon pans that are unsafe to use. It seems like the cabin struggles with airflow as the basement floor is freezing, the first floor is perfect, and the loft is very hot. All these challenges aside, the cabin was cozy, and our family loved the gas fireplace, pool table, and especially the creek.

Very cute cabin. Very peaceful . The owner is amazing . Very responsive . The tv upstairs did not work. She came out and looked at it . Then immediately went to the store and got a new one and had it put up that day!

We couldn’t have picked a better spot. It was beautiful outside and very cozy and cute inside. The children loved the fact that it had things for them to do and was able to unplug from the cyber world. We played all the games enjoyed the water. We had breakfast and lunch on the wrap around porch. Watched the lighting bugs around the fire pit eating s’mores. Thank you so much for shearing your beautiful place with us.

This was the perfect cabin in the perfect location. Very private and peaceful. They creek was beautiful and loud and several of us fell asleep in the hammock by the water. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night. Only complaint was no trash bags, paper towels or toilet paper.

Easy to find although a number outside the drive would be helpful since we got there at dark. The cabin was great, just as advertised. We had a microwave problem. Called owner at 8 am, they said they would fix the problem. We stopped back by the cabin around 1 and there was a brand new microwave already installed. Couldnt ask for a better or qui ker response. Actually met the owners and they were great people. We go to the smokies on a regular basis to ride and this will be the cabin we check availability on first from now on. GREAT stay. Thanks

We truly enjoyed every aspect of this cabin. Relaxing in nature, s’mores at the fire pit. Relaxing in the hot tub. Evenings shooting pool with the family. Taking our dogs on hikes with us. Hope to come back again soon.

I was a little unsure about the place at first not having the Mountain Views, but the place was perfect. Nice and wooded, very private and a nice stream on the property. It was also pretty close to anything you wanted to do in the area. We had a lot of fun

My family enjoyed the big yard with the firepit and creek. I may have fell off the hammock but I'm sure that was my own fault. :) The house was clean, we all enjoyed the pool table, and the "adult" kids enjoyed the hot tub. Hiking close by or plenty of entertainment to stay on the property and enjoy. Quick communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Property needs maintenance. Walls were dirty and stained. Inside needs drywall work as there were several holes and cracks. Electric outlet cover missing and light bulbs missing. Beds were not comfortable. Island tile grout needs to be replaced. Noisy creek was awesome.

Food on the floor someone wrote dust me on the stand by the front door. I had to clean hair out of sink and tub in bathroom. Property is nice just being neglected and it shouldn’t be for the fees you are charged so I hope owners are aware someone is neglecting their responsibilities.

We had a great experience. The cabin was beautiful and provided everything we needed. The hot tub, pool table, and river running through the property provided exactly the laid back atmosphere we were looking for. And the beautiful views in the area made for the perfect daily excisions. Top it off with some hot chocolate by the fire and it was an amazing weekend. We definitely wish we were able to stay longer and will definitely look to utilize this property again! Thank you for the hospitality!

It was the perfect cozy log cabin for celebrating Christmas as a family!! They had the cabin decorated for the holidays which was so nice. It was extremely cold outside (high of 4 degrees and a wind chill) but the log cabin was nice and warm when we arrived, We loved the fireplace.

We had an amazing stay! There were 8 of us all together and had plenty of space. The cabin was great to hang out in on rainy days and in a great central location to venture out on nice days. We had such a great week there! Hopefully we will be back!

Great location! Love the layout of the cabin. One of the more unique places we've stayed. The huge yard and lovely creek even within a neighborhood was still very private and peaceful. The housekeeping could use improvement and attention to detail. Overall this is a very nice cabin to stay in, but if you're excited for relaxing in the hot tub , pick a different cabin. The six working jets are disappointing! That being said I'd likely still stay again .
