This is a wonderful spacious property for our family of 9 to comfortably stay. The updated appliances makes it nice for cooking and laundry and the kitchen is mostly stocked for all cooking necessities. A couple bathroom suggestions is to add handrails in 2nd floor bathroom as it is a slippery surface with no handholds and adding towel hooks/hanging area in 1st floor bathroom. An outside firepit would have made this property 5+! This property is located in a great location to all of Bar Harbor & Acadia experiences!

Overall, impressions are that this is a worn property inside. Not updated except for the kitchen. All bedrooms are upstairs. 1 bath upstairs and then the bath in laundry room - which is as pictured. Only disconcerting thing about bathrooms are the windows that don’t have great cover - particularly at night. Granted ur on a lot of land but it was uncomfortable. We rigged something to help with that. Immediately we were faced with very slow / clogged sink drains in the upstairs bath. Thank goodness someone in our party could clean out the drains which were full of hair and just icky. It was late at night so we had to solve that problem. The room with the bunk beds really was in bad shape from all the stains on the carpet. We just kept that room closed off. The banister rail on the left side going up was loose so just be careful. The bedrooms did not have electrical outlets near the beds. Maybe they were behind the bed but we weren’t going to go look for them and move the furniture. So bring ur own extension cords if u have short charging cords. It’s a big house with a lot of space and land. Good proximity to Bar Harbor. Quiet area except for a rooster that woke us up one morning! The kitchen really does have everything u need to cook. The welcome book says they are slowly working on updating things in the house. It really needs some love so I wish them luck bc it’s a nice area.

The house was spacious and allowed for my family to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia very easily!

Group of 10 visiting for the MDI marathon/half and Acadia.
Loved the quiet location. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner at the end of a day of hiking/exploring.

Wonderful home on a big lot. Lots of room to spread out. The yard is full of deer and turkeys. Well stocked, and clean. Lots of great restaurants and lobster places nearby. Close to Bar Harbor. If you don’t want to drive to Bar Harbor, there is a bus that will pick you up less than a half mile from the house for FREE (tips are encouraged).

This is the first negative review I have written after years of using VRBO. When we arrived and got into the house I noticed that the floors had not been swept or mopped. As I looked closer, the carpet in the living room was dirty. I started checking a few things and when I opened the microwave it was dirty. I called the management company and she said it was probably a "rush job" and she would try to get someone out. The person who came was quite nice but she did not even work for the management team. She actually took pictures to share with them. This house has not had a thorough cleaning in a long time. The downstairs bathroom was old and the floors were dirty. The bunk bed room's carpet was quite stained. There were no trash bags in any of the bathrooms or bedrooms and no Kleenex. The propane tank was empty and the replacement was not full, so we had one filled ourselves. This house really needs updating, cleaning and painting inside. The location was great, but that was about it.

We loved the spacious house and that it is set far off the road, so we never worried about the children playing outside. They loved the treehouse.

This very spacious property worked well for our family. Almost everything we wanted to do was only 15 minutes away and we found the property itself very relaxing. The kitchen is also stocked with every kitchen tool we could imagine.

Property is located ~15-20 mins from just about everything on MDI, which is convenient, but prepared to drive, nothing is within walking distance. It is also on a main road, while set back from the road, you do get fairly constant road noise with windows open or sitting outside.
Spacious and nicely equipped kitchen. Balance of the house is a bit tired for the price but functional. Starter supplies are skimpy. We were instructed to start laundry but provided no detergent to do so.

This house worked very well for our group of hikers. Plenty of c ok moon areas made for easy visiting and 2 TV's helped for football Saturday. The only snafu was only 2 Bathrooms which caused some backups in the AM's & PM's. Overall I recommend this house and Host. It is a good value IMO.

Many perks to this home. A good kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, lots of gathering areas, and a huge meadow. There’s a fine treehouse too! Our second visit was lots of fun.

Wonderful
Absolutely beautiful. Close enough to everything we wanted to do and try. Plenty of rooms for kids to play and adults talk without anybody interrupting each other. Kids could play outside without worrying being to close to the road. Awsome place.

Great Location awesome house
The location is perfect for exploring Acadia and MDI. Very close to bar harbor and bass harbor. Convenience stores are nearby. We stayed with kids ages 4 to 8, and they loved the tree house and open yard. Kitchen was modern, clean and well equipped with all tools and dishes. We hardly used the tv rooms so can’t comment on that but having all that space was nice.

Fantastic Property for our Family Vacation
Couldn't have asked for a better property for our family vacation. Everything was exactly as described. Kitchen was big and well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils which was wonderful since we LOVE to cook and eat! The bedrooms were big and comfortable and there was plenty of living space downstairs. My 11 year old grandson even had his own little man cave to watch his videos. It was also far enough away from the crowded craziness of Bar Harbor but close enough to Acadia and grocery store. It was a perfect vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Good place for a large family
Great location, about 15 minute drive to Acadia National Park depending on slow traffic since the entire island has two lane roads. Place is older but partially remodeled. Kitchen seems upscale and has all cooking utensils, dishes, and small appliances to make a feast. We cooked lobster, clams, etc.... in the large turkey fryer outside on the patio and ate on the two outside picnic tables.
Nice newer hardwood floor downstairs. Four bedrooms upstairs with one full bath upstairs. One full bath downstairs in the laundry room. The three bedrooms upstairs with king beds had newer mattresses and are large and the fourth bedroom upstairs had two bunk beds. The attached garage was converted into a large family room with soft couches for a family to lay around and watch TV. Lots of board games, cards, books, etc....
Would recommend for a larger family (we had five). Quiet location. Great location to easily drive off of the island to visit the rest of Maine.

Spring Meadow
We had a wonderful stay at Spring Meadow. The property was a delight! There is a pond in the back yard & some mornings we would see deer drinking from it. The treehouse is also a fun touch. We loved loved the house. All the bedrooms are lovely & the beds are comfy! Our favorite room was the family room. There was plenty of room for our family to hang out & play games. Bar harbor is breathtaking! A fun little town with amazing views. We had a great time on our first trip to Maine & can’t wait to come back.
