We really enjoyed our visit to Seabrook this year. The house was centrally located yet felt private and super relaxing. The views from the deck at sunrise and sunset were amazing. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the morning and hearing the peepers at night.

We enjoyed our stay here. We needed a house where 2 of the bedrooms had twin beds and this fit the bill. The rooftop deck was nice to sit on in the evening. The lanai was where we spent most of our time. It provided such a nice cross breeze. The location on the 16th green provided a nice view from the big windows in the master and living room. This is an older home, and needs some updating, both with the house, the furnishings, and the driveway/yard. Overall, it worked well for us and we had a great time.

We come to Seabrook once a year for our family vacation. Great host! Christopher was very helpful with the check in process. Short bike ride or drive to the beach. We seen lots of deer and birds. Great location! We loved the sun deck on the roof at night for watching the stars. This home is our favorite place to stay at Seabrook it has everything you need.

This property was perfect for our weekend visit. Great location.

The property is very large. It’s perfect for a family and has stunning views from the top deck. It’s clean and close to boardwalks 1-3a/b. We walked in 10 mins and biked there in about 5 minutes. If you drove to the boardwalk it would probably take 2 minutes. Everything we needed was there and it was super clean. The host was very accommodating. You’d be stupid not to rent this place for a family trip. Literally nothing wrong with it.

We had the best time staying at this Seabrook gem. The views were beautiful and tranquil and we loved the screened porches. The host was extremely responsive and even left us a personalized welcome note. I highly recommend this property!

We live in the area and had friends in town for the holiday weekend so need some extra room for two couples and a teenager. The property worked out great and the location was perfect for the weekend. Great communication with the host and we'll use again when we have family/ friends in town. Thank you!

We absolutely love Seabrook Island and the quiet beaches and wildlife.
The house was fabulous for our family vacation - the central location to bike to the beach and pool restaurant and screened in porch was especially nice for enjoying time outside without the bugs. Communications with the host were helpful and quick. Thanks for a great stay!

Unique architecture and lovely views through large 'picture' windows that faced the golf course and marsh on multiple floors. Although it is not what I'd call 'secluded,' this home provides wonderful opportunities to experience nature, especially bird watching.
As attractive as this modern designed home is, it also meant that the property was not really as child-friendly (with high decks and screened porches), nor was it as senior-friendly (with multiple flights of stairs - both inside & outside) as our multi-generation family evidently needed!
Initially, I had a few friendly and helpful exchanges with the owner. Yet when our first night on the master bedroom's platform bed was not restful, I texted the owner about the possibility of getting a mattress pad or topper. However, he did not respond to my request, nor did we ever hear from him again.
The furnishings are simple rather than luxurious, and more functional than the 'melt into comfortable' ones we were hoping for at the end of full days of adventure on the island.
Although there were many interesting things to enjoy about the house, including the lookout on the roof, we did not find it to be the best value for the price, compared to the numerous Seabrook Island homes we have rented over the years.
Even so, our group very much enjoyed the week-long stay on Seabrook Island. We appreciated the beauty of the ocean, shorelines and wildlife, as well as the fantastic Island Club amenities.

We have been going to Seabrook for many years and while the Island has changed a little bit over the years, it is a great place to vacation! This house was wonderful to stay in as it was close to the beach and easy to access. 5 stars!

A perfect getaway!
I’ve been to Kiawah a number of times, but this was my first time to Seabrook. It was lovely! I traveled with my 6 year old and my best friend. We loved the vacation house! The view was beautiful! The island amenities were fabulous - my daughter couldn’t get enough pool time! The house was well suited for us and could certainly cater to more people - with 3 of us, we each had our own room and I shared a bathroom with my daughter. We used the well appointed kitchen and definitely made use of the relaxing hammock, too! The home is very private and in a quiet area. We did not run into any problems. The host was kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine, which was much appreciated! It rained a lot, but we had a wonderful trip and highly recommend this vacation home!

We had an awesome stay! The house is beautiful and so unique! We felt like we were staying in a beautiful treehouse. We loved the huge wall to wall window in the living room over looking the golf course. The best is the rooftop deck with all the views. We even saw an alligator walking across the golf course. House was clean and perfect for our family/friends of 6 people. Short walk/drive to beach. Never had to worry about parking by the beach. The owner was so nice and very easy to get in touch with when I had questions. Thank you for a great stay and hope to be back soon!

GREAT location, easy to bike to the beach, no car necessary once you arrive. =) The owner provides 3 bikes; a single speed, a 3 speed (I think) and a 15 speed as well as 2 kayaks. We didn't use the kayaks but did use 2 of the bikes. VERY quiet but the island is pretty quiet in general. The home is set up and ready for you to enjoy outdoor living. The screened-in porch with a hammock and fan make you feel like you're in a treehouse. The rooftop patio is great for views of the golf course and the marsh area. You can see the ocean between the trees, and at night, you can hear it. We sat on the roof almost every night and enjoyed our coffee up there every morning. The king size bed was very comfortable, the shower was more than you would think with a rain showerhead, a handheld shower AND a seated back massage spray area (from too much tennis or golf). If you like the bedroom to be dark, bring your blinders as 2 if the 3 bedrooms get morning sun. Each bedroom had a porch so you could sit outside and enjoy the breezes. The kitchen has the usual appliances as well as toaster, blender, Keurig and a handblender. The owner was so very responsive and very nice. I locked myself out and had to call him, so embarassed, but he was so kind and walked me through how to get back in, staying on the phone, even though he was in CO! Each time I had to contact him, regardless of whether it was email, text or phone, before and during the trip, he was very quick to respond. At various times during the week, I had different people come and go, and they all said the same thing - the pictures don't do this place justice. WE all LOVED this location! If you want a lovely and comfortable place, this one is GREAT. However, if you cannot climb stairs, this place is not for you. If you book this great home, please note nothing is stocked in the kitchen so plan to bring your own items - ziploc bags, saran wrap and foil, as well as any food items like spices, herbs, oils, vinegars, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper. There is a propane grill on one of the many porches. For groceries you can head to the Harris Teeter at Freshfields where you can stock up on all these before you head in and it's probably a 10 minute drive. If you're adventurous, you can bike it in 40 minutes. My friends said - let's book this place again! What more can I say?!

Great place!
I hesitate to write this review because this place is a gem! We have stayed here for many years and enjoy the easy way and hospitality of the owners. We love the convenient location and layout of the house. The rooftop patio is a must for an evening drink or catching the Seabrook fireworks.

Enjoyed our stay
Glenn is very nice and helpful. His house is very well-stocked - no need to take extra supplies for a week-long stay. Everything needed for kitchen and bath is on hand - shampoo, conditioner, soaps, paper products, detergent, etc. It makes planning the trip much simpler. The views are beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend at 2473 High Hammock Rd Seabrook Island, SC
Having owned two places at Seabrook Island that were very near High Hammock Road, my wife and I have walked by Glenn's unique home probably hundreds of times. We've always thought the three story design was really cool especially with the Hammock setup on the second floor in the screened in porch. The inside didn't disappoint either. It has an amazing golf course and Marsh view from the living room/kitchen area. The reverse floor plan works really well with the bedrooms on the first floor. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Gas grill on the back porch facing the marsh seemed new, so that was nice. Glenn is very responsive to any questions via email or phone. Whether you are going for a long weekend, or a month, I would highly recommend 2473 High Hammock!

This property has an incredible setting literally built into the trees and overlooking the golf course and the marsh ( there is also a distant ocean view from the rooftop deck). It is very private and quiet ....you cannot see any of the neighboring houses. We plan to rent this property again.

Unique house in a unique place
Our family (including two kids, 14 and 11) enjoyed our first time at Seabrook Island. We had perfect April weather (sunny mid-70s, no humidity). and divided our time between the beach, pool, and visits to Charleston.
The house was very comfortable, with a modern kitchen, and countless decks and views. Being from the city, we liked stargazing from the roof deck, or just relaxing on the hammock on the screened-in porch.
Biking around Seabrook is an amazing experience - flat, smooth roads, relatively few cars (and slow-moving at that), and bikers everywhere. It's the best way to see and get around. Also recommend going on a kayak tour in/around Seabrook, and a historical walking tour of Charleston.

Wonderful Vacation Home
This beautiful home is very well decorated with panoramic views of the golf course and marsh. The location is great---you can easily bike or walk to the beach! All rooms are spacious and everything is updated--The private location of the home allows for relaxation and privacy. Glenn is terrific to work with and the welcome bottle of wine was greatly appreciated! A spectacular, lovely vacation home!

Family Vacation

WOW! Where to start. We get to go on a family vacation about every 4-6 years. This year we were celebrating our daughter's high school graduation and our son's college graduation. We have always stayed at hotels or state parks so this was our very first experience renting a home and I was very nervous. Everything went smoothly from making the reservation to payment to arrival to check out. As mentioned in previous reviews the home is VERY well stocked with paper products, toiletries, beach towels, laundry supplies, extra linens. A lovely note and bottle of wine welcomed us. It was fun to watch the kids (18 and 22) run through the house checking it out and picking their rooms. I'm going to miss the shower in the master bedroom and the view! My husband said the house was so big he felt as if he needed a key card every time he left the bedroom.
We visited Seabrook 7/2-7/9 so we were there for Independence day celebrations. Getting through the security gate was slow because a lot of families were arriving. Security did route us over to the office where we could get our parking pass and amenity cards. For some reason the office was confused about our amenity cards. Glenn was very quick to respond and clear up the confusion. Harris Teeter is the grocery store in Fresh Fields Village which is not far but was packed as if they were expecting a hurricane. We did find a Food Lion 10 ish miles away which was extremely clean, economical, wide aisles and NOT packed. Seabrook puts on an impressive fireworks display. There was live music, food and cash bar set up on the driving range. Very family friendly atmosphere, plenty of elbow room and a spectacular view of the fireworks. All the pictures showed the beach deserted. I thought they moved the people out of the way to get those photos. Even with so many families there for the holiday weekend you still had 50-100 yards between you and the next person. After the weekend it cleared out and was like having your own private beach. I will miss ending my day watching the sun set and starting it with the sunrise over the ocean. We rented bikes from Seaside Cycles without issue. The bikes were there when we arrived and were well serviced. Don't ride after dark. No lights on bikes. We did not see any mosquitoes on Seabrook. Very large spider, who we named Regina, was in the tree outside the house. She kept her distance and so did we ;) Would stay in this home and at Seabrook again!!

My three adult children and I had a very nice visit to Seabrook and enjoyed staying at Glenn Boesger’s vacation home. The view from the rear of the house is excellent!
