About this apartment rental

This is a beautiful south-end 1st floor unit on the ocean side of West Ave - 3609 West Avenue - a fantastic prime location on this family resort island! The beach is a short two-block walk from the house. Also within a few blocks is a great playground, basketball, tennis, Hoys 5 & 10, Randazzo’s, and ice cream, as well as Blitzes, Wawa and Acme for easy shopping.

There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and family room, cable TV and WIFI, TV and stereo/CD player in the family room. Each bedroom has a TV and a Roku which you can stream Xfinity on. The family room has a gas fireplace and leather sofa and seating. A washer and dryer, central air conditioning, heater, a fully utensil-stocked kitchen with dishwasher, electric range/oven, and microwave, coffee brewer, toaster, popcorn maker, etc.. There is covered, off-street parking for two cars, a private outside shower, and enclosed storage area for beach chairs. There is a gas grill outside and bench near the storage area.

A spacious deck is at the front of the house with porch swing and seating with bistro table as well, perfect for your morning coffee!

Tenants provide their own bed linens (two queen beds, two twin beds, and one full portable airbed) and towels. We provide two beach tags which must be returned prior to departure. Beach tags are not required for children under 12. Smoking and pets are not allowed.

Cleaning: The condo is thoroughly cleaned between rentals, including and not limited to: cleaning with disinfectant: door handles, controls and switches (e.g. light switches, cooking controls, television controls, fan pull chains), counters, appliances, bathroom faucets, toilet flush handles, toilet seats, utensils, cutlery and dishes, pots/pans, furniture such as chairs, tables, and beds/pillows. Bedding is washed at recommended heat level between rentals. Magazines are disposed of. Hard cover books are surface disinfected.

Visit the Ocean City boardwalk for great food, the rides, miniature golf, movies, and the center of town for terrific shopping. You could even ride the trolley to the Ocean City boardwalk! Many restaurants are nearby, as well as parks, golf, tennis, and fishing. Take a nature walk or visit wildlife preserves. A short drive brings you to Atlantic City Casinos and nightlife, Atlantic City Outlets, the Cape May Zoo, and historic Cape May and Cape May Ferry, whale watching and more.

We do not rent for senior week or parties.

Home was clean and comfortable. Got accustomed to the layout very quickly. Minutes walk to the beach; same for Wawa and gas. Acme. Perfectly situated. Wonderful experience. Landlord is great to work with and very accommodating.

Owner was super responsive and friendly in all communications. House was lovely and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Location was perfect! Quiet side of the island but still in walking distance to beach and food/groceries. Would rent again!

Another awesome vacation in a fabulous location. This property is central to everything you need with a short walk to the beach. The home is lovely with space for everyone to relax (The pictures really do not do it justice). - Lisa is a fabulous host and is quick to answer any questions you may have. We're looking forward to rebooking again for next summer.

You need to bring your own trash bags and toilet paper. Lock box was difficult to open. No house number on front of house. Enjoyed the porch very much.

Maybe the best endorsement I can give is the fact that we booked our week next year while we were still on our trip this year. We did not want to miss this out on this place. Our group consisted of me, my wife, our two kids (ages 1 & 7), and my father-in-law. We loved the location near 36th street. The walk to the beach was quick and the roads are easily crossable in this area due to lower traffic. It is walkable within a few blocks to a playground, Hoy's 5 & 10, Wawa, a grocery store, 2 ice cream shops, a sandwich shop, and other restaurants. However, it is far enough from the boardwalk that it is quiet and no problem for the kids to get to sleep early. Plus, there is always street parking if you need more than the two included spaces out back. Under the carport there is a private shower and a shed. We felt safe keeping our wagon full of beach stuff parked under there all week. The front porch was comfy for us to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Our kids liked the porch swing the best. Inside, a large open area contains the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Back the hallway are the bedrooms and bathrooms. A hall closet containing a washer and dryer was much appreciated so we could run a few loads of laundry - a must when taking kids to the beach. Ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms allowed us to keep cool on the hottest days without running the air conditioning too much. You can tell that this is a nice home that has been well cared-for. Communication with Lisa was top notch, as she was quick to respond to any messages we sent her. We look forward to our return visit next July!
