For such an expensive property there was a lot wrong with the place. The dishwasher door didnt latch, many lights were missing or out. The listing claimed the main living space to be on ground level. It was two flighta of stairs and we had my mother in law who is disabled isisdisabmobilimpaired.

The property was very comfortable for our family. Everyone was able to have their own bedroom with an ensuite. The loft area was a fun hideout for my grandson. The living and kitchen area was spacious and easy for preparing and eating our meals. The deck area was a great place to hand out, relax and eat meals. The backyard was great for my grandson to run and play. The location allowed us to drive into Tahoe City for food and fun. We would definitely rent this property again.

The house is the perfect size and in the perfect location for several couples or a large family to come together without being on top of each other. We loved having our own bedrooms and private baths. The amenities in the house are also great. We had an infant with us and having the pack in play and high chair came in handy. We cooked most of our meals there and I even enjoyed a steam shower after a day on the lake.

The house was great. Went on a guys snowboarding trip. Every bedroom having a bathroom was very accommodating.

It’s absolutely perfect for big groups. Lots of rooms, plenty of bathrooms and great layout for entertainment. Even the gas BBQ out back fired right up. Most places don’t have working BBQ’s. Also don’t forget about the lake view👍

This house is such a quintessential Tahoe house - the style, the grand floor to ceiling windows, the natural design and mountain-vibe. This house has it all! Views, well stocked chefs kitchen, radiant heating throughout, gas fireplace in the center of everything, excellent lighting on dimmers, plenty of bathrooms. The game room is perched above the main great room / living area so that everyone always feels like they are a part of the same experience even if some are upstairs shooting pool while others are cooking or watching a movie downstairs.
Yes the couches and living room rug are dated but we were expecting worse. They’re comfortable and what you’d expect for a cabin. There were definitely lightbulbs out as people have mentioned. It did matter because the kitchen, while beautifully lit, had some key bulbs out making it really dark over the counter space so we brought a side table lamp in which fixed the issue for us. (They’re recessed and specialty bulbs so not bulbs guests feel like replacing themselves).
The blinds were finicky things throughout the house - an outdated amenity that the owner should probably do away with.
The neighborhood bear was active and seen multiple times - DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH LEAVING ANY FOOD IN YOUR CAR. It was an issue for us, and that was our fault. Lock your car doors and empty it daily from road snacks etc.
The house was so excellently laid out for a large family - we loved this neighborhood, location and home!!! Fabulous!

Visited Tahoe for the first time in late September, on our way to a wedding in the Bay Area. Five couples enjoyed the stay immensely in this very comfortable house. It was very convenient for some hiking, dining, and time on the lake. Our only criticism - the house seemed a little dark because a lot of the bulbs in the ceiling were out; but that did not diminish our good time!

Stay was great with lots of space and great views. Location is awesome. Had 6 adults and 6 kids and we all had plenty of space. Great play room for teenagers.

We had 10 adults (4 young adults 19-22 yrs) and the size of the house was terrific with private bathrooms for all. Everyone really enjoyed the pool table area upstairs and also the front deck where we had cocktails and played Five Crowns each evening.
There were some housekeeping issues-a very badly damaged screen door to the porch which should be replaced, we could not get the outdoor gas grill to work, the tv in the master bedroom would constantly pause or freeze, very limited number of kitchen towels to use, some light bulbs were out in the master bath, all decks off the bedrooms were covered with pine needles, and spider webs….
Once these various housekeeping issues were resolved, we would rate this place as a great spot to stay for a large number of people.

Plenty of space for the whole family. Needs a little TLC and signage

My family and I loved having this house for a mini family reunion. The house is spacious and well laid out to accommodate larger groups. We especially loved that the bedrooms had enough distance and sound protection from the social areas of the house. We did encounter some mild problems such as light bulbs out and a broken refrigerator, but the property manager was quick to respond and remediate. One thing we did not realize when booking, was that we did not have access to the dollar point beach (which is the closest lake access to the house). There are other beach access points nearby, but that was somewhat of a bummer, as dollar point is right by the house. As others have noted, the furniture is very worn/used. Overall we would stay here again and it fit our family very well!

Great location. Furniture is old and worn, but house is beautiful.

Although we were stranded due to the road conditions from the heavy snow we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time at home. The home was large enough for 12 adults. The furniture needs replacing, and I was disappointed with the messiness of the garage, but all in all, we had a wonderful stay.

We rent a different property every year for our annual trip and this is hands down our favorite place so far. Plenty of room, all appliances were high end and worked great. The inside was exactly like the pics which is rarely true. The place is beautiful and you and an amazing view of the lake across the street. We will definitely be back.

We loved everything about this property. From the large bedrooms to the kitchen that has everything you may need! It’s close to everything in the north shore and a 2 minute walk to the lake. We will definitely stay again

My family stayed here over thanksgiving. The house is lovely and is in the perfect location. We love Tahoe sunsets and walked down to the beach to watch them every day, it’s just a short 5 minute walk away. The house layout is awesome and you can’t beat all the large windows, outdoor space, and views. As other reviewers have stated the furniture is a bit outdated, especially the couches in the living room, but there was plenty of seating for a family of 7 adults and 3 kids (infant plus toddlers). Unfortunately the main large right oven didn’t work during our stay. We didn’t want to bother the property manager on Thanksgiving but it kept shutting off when we would turn it on so we were not able to do thanksgiving cooking like we had hoped. The only other thing to mention is that my husband and I slept in the upstairs back right bedroom with our 2 month old and the internet didn’t really work in that room on any of the networks so we weren’t able to connect and use our Nanit monitoring camera to watch her during naps. That was a bummer because it was hard to hear if she was crying from downstairs, so we had to go up and check on her quite often. All that said the house itself is very lovely and we’d definitely stay again.

Some things are getting a little worn, (patio furniture, flooring), but all things considered, this place was perfect for our reunion. Good communication with manager. I was a little surprised by all the stuff in the garage. All that being said, we would rent this place again.

It would be nice to use everything that was listed under the description of this property. Sadly, but few listed items were either broken and / or not available to use.
Example: all drawers and closet (in master bedroom) was locked for owner’s use only; we had no space to put our clothing; espresso machine in the kitchen is broken; all furniture in front and back patio were dirty (pine needles everywhere); by the time of our check out time in AM when we were leaving, the landscaping crew came to clean up; The beach & pool access was not renewed and were not able to use it (which is is a big deal for us ! We had kids that wanted to use a pool)
We had few warm days and upstairs rooms get very hot w/o AC.

Great place and location. Big Great room. Could not figure out the light switch situation for the life of me.

Great house and location for our activities! Comfortable beds and lots of fans for the bedrooms. Great kitchen and appliances. Family/Dining/Kitchen open and super for large family gatherings. Pool table upstairs is a great bonus. Lots of table spaces for eating and playing games. Front patio amazing. Only opportunity to improve is cleaner floors and bathrooms (tub/showers). Great time had by all!

Great location! Beautiful house.
We had a fabulous time. The property was in a great location although it would have been nice to have access to the Dollar Point beach and amenities. Needs a good cleaning of BBQ and outdoor furniture but otherwise perfect place for our family vacation.

Incredible home for our Tahoe week
This home is truly spectacular. From the lake views, personal room balconies, to the steam shower, this home is luxury and worth every penny. Thank you to Tara for her prompt communication and assistance with our booking. 10/10 recommend this for any group wanting a beautiful, comfortable stay.

Luxury Property? Well sort of ...
Beautifully designed home but furnishings, particularly in living room and loft are tired and worn. Rugs and sofas need replacing. Bathrooms in all but one of the bedrooms are convenient but also dated. Dishes chipped, built in coffee maker didn't work. At one time this was a fabulous home but it is showing its age and wear. Beautiful location and views of the lake through the trees. All the labels and warnings and locks on dressers and closets were a bit offputting. Overall a lovely home, at one time luxurious but now somewhat worn.

Perfect Vacation
This property was exactly as advertised. It had a fully equipped kitchen and every amenity we needed for a fantastic ski vacation. Great location in Tahoe City and easy to hit the Palisades every day. Bedrooms were huge offering all the privacy in the world. Overall . . . A+. Thank you.

Grand House Tahoe Style
We had a lovely time for Christmas with the whole family. Even with record amounts of snow and a brief power outage it was wonderful! We all felt very fancy, happy and warm the entire stay.

Beautiful house on the outside but not well maintained
I already sent a review with a long list of problems with the house we rented but it was not posted because we were not happy with many problems in the house. The blind was broken the oven and grill on top were broken the the floors were scratched and rugs worn I could go on and on.

Great trip!
The house was large enough for our family with plenty of space to spread out. The hard part was there was a minor heat wave requiring the windows to be open to cool down the house, which is normal in Tahoe. The harder part was there is construction on 3 other homes on the same street, so every morning was filled with construction noise & dust starting at 7am. This is completely out of control of the owners and unavoidable right now, but it was inconvenient for our trip. It's also unfortunate that the HOA no longer allows renters to use the beach or facilities down the street. Other than that, we had another fabulous trip to Tahoe. Thank you!

WOW Factor!
Was in Lake Tahoe with 4 other couples celebrating the Ladies' 60th Birthdays. The house was perfect for a large crowd. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living area, large patio, pool table and foosball were perfect for this celebration! Tara was a pleasure which made the trip a huge success. Can't wait to go back to finish our "to do" list in magnificent Lake Tahoe.

GREAT LOCATION- family home
We enjoyed our stay in this family home across the street from the Lake. We stayed end of summer, when rental properties are a bit tired from the summer guests - window sills dirty and challenging temperature control in home with no AC - had to keep windows open/closed due to high temperatures and smoke from fires. Back master king room unbarably warm - 85 degrees, due to malfunctioning floor heat and not adequate fans. If there hadn't been smoke we might have been able to cool the upstairs better. front master bedroom stayed 74 degrees or warmer. Julio brought us extra fans which helped. Kitchen has great counter space, which you need as there is little available storage for food - owners keep a lot of locked cupboards for personal items. Carpets in desperate need of cleaning. Wood floors worn but clean. Bathrooms were dated but very clean, one tub/shower malfunctioned. Deck, layout and proximity to Dollar Point beach mitigate the worn/dated decor. with decision to close Dollar Point to short term renters for 2021, not sure if we'd stay again.

Perfect vacation
We had the best vacation at this location especially during COVID. Private beach, private pools and great house. The house is fully equipped and the management was quick to respond. Our only complaint was how hot it was without air conditioning. and the lack of fans. But they brought fans as soon as we requested. The house is clean and everything about it was beyond our expectations. Our only request is they purchase a cordless vacuum so the house could be kept cleaner during our stay! But. Seriously overall we loved this house and we would love to stay there again in the near future.

4 days with the extended family
Amazing space for the extended family. There are essentially 4 mini suites with their own bathroom and one bedroom that had a bathroom across the hall. The combined living space is beyond impressive, with a fully equipped kitchen. We spent the majority of time here and the 5 min away private beach. Exactly what the family needed.
