10 of us had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Dollar Point. It was such a great layout, and everyone was able to have their own comfortable bed. The location was great, as we were able to get to town quickly, or walk 4 minutes to 7-11 for any last minute things we needed.
The house was clean and tastefully decorated, and the check-in process was very straightforward. Would definitely stay again.

I love the house except the smells a lot to old. I don’t know if is the carpet or dust. So I try to use the vacuum to clean the carpet and smell like burning so it make it worse my room was smelling bad. I try to see why and notice the vacuum had a lot of hair in the brush, I try to remove but not luck. Also in the paper it said to left the washing machine with some towels washing but I didn’t find any detergent to put on so I use some of my. Also I had some extra trash that I wasn’t able to fit in the trash can outside so I didn’t know what to do so I had to live it in the garage. Otherwise I like it because it was nice it perfect size for my family and close to drive to different beaches and stores if I need it something. My family enjoy the house.

A group of friends and family stayed for five days, and we had a blast. It’s a lovely house that is in a great location. It provided easy access for all the activities. It has plenty of space for a group. We cooked lots of group meals, and enjoyed the front deck. I highly recommend this house for a visit to Tahoe!

Everything was very nice and comfortable for our family. There was only one thermostat upstairs and so it was hard to control the temperature and downstairs ubedrooms JJ were cold. The back deck next to the hot tub could have been swept up. Also, some concrete around the hot tub would have been nice instead of just a dirt floor.

We had a great stay at the home. The layout with 3 king beds were the biggest draw for us. Location is perfect, with close proximity to grocery stores, and restaurants. We did couple of activities like biking, aerial tram in Squaw Valley, which are accessible to the home.
Would recommend staying at this location.

The property was beautiful and very clean. All the furniture and appliances looked brand new. Hot tub was great. Overall we all had a blast.
The one piece of feedback I would give is that the downstairs rooms, which is the majority of the rooms, were really cold at night, even with the central heater on. The 1 space heater downstairs wasn’t working. I think if each room downstairs got a working space heater it would’ve been perfect.

Comfortable, Fun, and Well Equipped!
Check-in was easy, and the property management was excellent! The few questions we had were answered immediately and kindly!
The house was well-organized and clean (a couple spots of the rug, but hey…). The beds and linens were extremely comfortable! All the amenities were provided— washer/dryer, soap, towels, dishwasher detergent, ice, many kitchen utensils, small appliances, you name it!
The only drawback was we could hear the main-road traffic from the front deck. However, the back deck was much quieter and the adjacent hot tub perfect!
Very easy access to trails, the lake, Tahoe City, and nearby beaches.
We loved our stay!

Wonderful Ski Week
Our group had a lovely and very comfortable time here for the school break. The house was clean, well equipped for cooking for a crowd, and comfortable for our three families. The kids (ages 8-4) had a great time and plenty of space to play both inside and outside.

Safety Issues
All was great except the dining room chairs are falling apart. One of them broke underneath one of my fiends and he hit the floor pretty hard. Could have been worse if he had hit the glass lantern sitting in the corner by the table. We left the chair exactly where it broke. Bad news is that all of the chairs are in the same condition and need to get fixed or replaced. I highly suggest that before you do another rental.
Second safety issue we had was with the “rug” that was under the coffee table between the couches. It is really just a blanket that won’t lay flat and is a serious slip hazard on the wood floors. We put it up on the railing in the living room as you will see. Only other issue was the heater system. Seems there is only one system for both upstairs and down. This makes the upstairs about 80 degrees to get the downstairs to 68.

Would not recommend
I usually don’t write bad reviews. We picked this house for our family winter vacation because it said it has a hot tub. When we tried to use it, it didn’t turn on and it was dirty. The bed sheets were not clean. They had hair and stains on it. One bed had a blood stain on sheets - very disgusting. BBQ was low on propane, so we couldn’t finish cooking dinner. The bear box was full from the previous renter. We had to leave our garbage in the garage. Vrbo tried to get hold of management company about these issues and I also emailed them few times during our stay there, they never responded. Would not recommend this place because of how management didn’t do their job when we needed help

Management was great
It is not talked about but, at times, management can make your stay great or troublesome. This time they made it great. Easy to communicate with and hassle free. Thank you.

great location and home
Loved this home and area. The only drawback was no beach access for renters, so we went to Skylandia beach which was great.

The house was very accommodating and had tons of sleep space. The communication was very attentive and helpful whenever needed.
