The Tumlin House exceeded every expectation we had as a place to house my daughter’s wedding party. Each of the 6 upstairs bedrooms had the feel of a bed and breakfast and the downstairs master bedroom with its uexpansive master bath was over the top, providing ample space for the girls to get ready.

This is a wonderful historic house with 7 bedrooms, each beautifully decorated. It’s well stocked with essentials and the owners were available to answer any questions we had. The location is perfect for walking around town and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Dahlonega is a perfect destination to celebrate the Christmas season. Our family loved our visit there.

We rented the Tumlin House for our family to stay in for my daughter’s wedding at Cold Creek Farm. And so glad we did!! The home is historical and such a beauty! Everything about it was comfortable and inviting. Lauren is a wonderful person to rent from. She’s super accommodating and just a lovely person. This house is absolutely magnificent and was the perfect place for our group of groomsmen and their dates for their weekend. It’s literally in the heart of downtown Dahlonega and features spacious common areas, upper and lower porches, and a large amount of green space. You couldn’t ask for a better house in the area, and anyone would be lucky to reserve this place for their group. We will definitely be coming back, and would strongly reccommend to anyone with a large party or simply looking for a classic but modern home with wonderful amenities.

Pictures do not do this house justice! It is huge and even more beautiful in person. We stayed with 6 other couples (we are all in our 50's and 60's) and as long as you don't mind common bathrooms, the house was plenty big. We were right on the square so we could walk everywhere and enjoyed a lovely wine tour on Saturday. The subartic temps of the weekend didn't spoil our fun. We shared gigantic belly laughs playing games at the huge kitchen table. Lauren, the host is super responsive. She usually responded to my many inquiries in minutes, but never more than hours. I would love to visit again some day!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tumlin House. We were a group of 8 moms with discerning tastes. We felt like we were staying in a sorority house. It was large and Gorgeous. There were so many rooms to hangout, we didn’t even use them all. The extra large kitchen table was fun. Super close to downtown Dahlonega. We walked to breakfast at the Picnic Basket. It was delicious. We will definitely be back for a couples trip or another girls weekend.

Lovely old farmhouse with a great location convenient to downtown Dahlonega. We stocked the kitchen and cooked and ate every meal there either at the nice big kitchen table inside or on the back deck. It was a beautiful house with a large porches, plenty of places to sit inside and out. Plenty of room for everyone. Well stocked kitchen with all cooking gadgets. Huge big green egg grill out back which we enjoyed.

The Tumlin was everything I expected. We had so much room for all the bridesmaids to get ready along with our hairstylist and make up artist. The kitchen was so well stocked and provided most anything you needed. I would recommend staying at the Tumlin House. You will love it!!Sherry

Lauren was very quick to respond to questions we had prior to arrival. The property was perfect. So great that we could all be together to celebrate the upcoming wedding of my daughter. The expanding farmhouse table was perfect for all of us to sit together for meals! The house was spotless. This is the second time we have stayed here and we look forward to staying again!

The dining room was an excellent space to get hair and makeup done. We had such a good time here and couldn’t recommend it enough if you have a large group in town!

My husband planned a weekend getaway for my birthday with some friends. The house was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. It felt like staying at home. My in-laws had flowers sent to me and the florist worked with the Lauren so the flowers were at the house before we got there. The Devore was perfect for the house and brought much elegance to the stay. Such a lovely stay at a beautiful property.

This is not a negative response, but communication about needed attention. 1) Up stairs, Right bath. Water can not shut off completely. Handle butts against backsplash preventing complete closure. 2) Refigerator freezer is not freezing. Ice nor ice cream froze while there. Our family completed loved the character of this wonderful home. Location to the square is exactly what we wanted. We felt at home. Thank you!
