About this house rental

Kirkland Place is a private 1,100 sqft single level condo located in a small complex of 1-story homes. Situated near the heart of downtown Tempe, Kirkland place is ideally located near ASU main campus and Sun Devil Stadium. A few minutes drive will take you to nearby Old Town Scottsdale, downtown Mesa, Sky Harbor Airport, and to multiple spring training venues. The Cubs Sloan Park is within 2 miles. Within a mile enjoy bike/walking paths and boat rentals at Town Lake, or the many shops and restaurants at Tempe Marketplace. The free Orbit shuttle is nearby, as well as the light rail within a few blocks.

The unit set up includes a large master bedroom with an upholstered king bed and ensuite bathroom. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Twin beds can be converted to 1 king to better accommodate couples. Please indicate preference at booking.

Newly remodeled hall bathroom has access to all rooms and is attached to the laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The large sectional sofa in the living room has a pull out full size bed and can accommodate 1-2 additional guests and has a memory foam topper to make it more comfortable. The private backyard patio oasis is fully enclosed with climbing vines, pavers, and artificial turf and is a great place for morning coffee, evening cocktails, bbqing, or a glass of wine by the gas firepit.

The community pool is located just across the parking lot. There is one reserved covered carport parking spot with multiple open parking spots available.

We absolutely loved everything about this property. It was perfect for our needs. It was centrally located to many attractions and just a short drive to the D’Backs stadium. Communication with the property owner was very easy and she was very responsive. Thanks for making our stay in Tempe awesome.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay; everything was shipshape. One evening we invited a couple over; had cocktails outside; barbecued a dinner for them and ate inside. All that we needed was readily available. We even recommended the unit to our daughter and family when they visit Tempe.

Alice is a great host! She communicates very quickly and clearly. She is helpful. Her home is beautifully decorated, fully stocked and then some, and in a nice neighborhood convenient to everything. The home was spacious for myself, my husband, and our two kids, 8 and 5 years old. The beds and couch are extremely comfortable. Everything is very, very clean. This is by far the best VRBO we've ever stayed in! Thank you, Alice! We will be back!

Our stay at this location in Tempe was very convienient to everything Arizona had to offer. It was so close to ASU and Tempe marketplace as well as the rail system if you didn’t have a car. The directions to get to the property when we arrived at midnight was superb and SO close to the airport. Also close to Scottsdale and just 1.5 hours from Sedona and 3.5 hours from the Grand Canyon. We did both The place itself was clean and very comfortable with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Perfect for our family of four. We also enjoyed the pool which was right across from our place.

This was a great condo with a great location. Close to airport, ASU and Tempe Marketplace. Check in was easy. Place was clean. Beds are comfortable. We had car trouble at the end of our trip and host worked with us on a later check out so we can get our car fixed. I would definitely recommend this place.

We booked this condo for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment spent in this cozy, well maintained and tastefully decorated place. The host was very responsive to our needs and we greatly appreciated flexibility to accommodate additional 2 nights’ stay when our flight was canceled due to inclement weather. Highly recommend this property.

We spent a week in this adorable cozy apartment. The patio with fire pit provided a great private space to be outside. the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. Location is great, bed was comfortable. We hope to come back!

More than any other VRBO we’ve stayed it is obvious the owner cares more about the renter’s experience. Instead of providing bare essentials as most do (which is understandable) I enjoyed seeing the extra kitchen supplies and equipment available included for a special coffee experience and the electric hot water kettle for my mother's morning tea.It was nice having more than one or two serving utensils and a good supply of pots/pans/cookie sheets etc. Plenty of electrical outlets and areas to charge electronics were available. The bedrooms were cozy and there were luggage racks available for everyone. Thank you for the attention to detail and I really could tell how much you enjoy providing a home away from home!

The condo is great!! Had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable! The outdoor patio was so nice and the firepit was such a nice touch! The place was very clean!! We were there for a college visit and the condo was close to everything! Communication with the owner was wonderful!! Would definitely stay there again if we come back! Thank you again!!!

Very clean residence. Located in a quiet secluded area of the property. Covered parking close to unit. Area felt safe, we encountered no problems. Comfy master bed, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The only suggestion would be to have the leaves in the back yard raked up more frequently. The grill was clean and held temp well. Good location to ASU and Four Peaks Brewery.

This is a cozy home away from home property. It was clean and filled with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host, Alice, was excellent. The refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly; she had a new one installed before our arrival. She kept me abreast each step of the way. Because of her conscientious attention to detail, I know we will be guests again!

The cleaning company may have been a bit on the hurried side. They turned off the AC and left little piles on the floor that they swept but didn’t pick up, but they are only human :) BUT Alice was great to work with. Her property was close to everything. Using Uber or the scooters was an easy and cheap way to get around. The place was cozy perfect for our stay. I would definitely book again.

Enjoyed our stay in this listing that is close to Tempe activities. Clean, organized and contained everything needed and expected. Comfortable bed and pillows. Older property, small shower stall, bathroom fans/dishwasher loud but everything in working order. Supplied coffee was nice touch.

Had a wonderful stay in this Tempe condo. It is the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in, from soap, linens, utensils, even a Magic Bullet for the morning smoothie! Master bed is very comfie. Very clean place as well. Tastefully decorated. Location was solid. We did a lot of hiking, and were 15 minutes from Camelback, 20 to South Mountain, 30 from Pinnacle Peak. Tempe Marketplace just up the road (with a nice variety of shops and restaurants). The host, Alice, was amazing to work with, very responsive to a minor issue that was easily worked out. Bottom line: we would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very comfortable. The owner provided all the amenities plus several personal products to make a stay away from home enjoyable. Having a private patio for relaxation as well a comfortable bed and assigned covered parking space were special treats. Communication with the owner was very good. She provided clear rental instructions and inquired as to how things were going during the stay. She seemed to make extra effort to make a guest’s visit a pleasant experience.

The property was very nice. We were bike riding the bike paths so the back yard with a secure fence was great to store the bikes overnight. The location was great for getting to the bike shop and bike paths. The beds were very comfy and the bath and kitchen amenities were great.
