we enjoyed the stay

The location was great, right next to Bromley and quick drive from other local spots we enjoy like Johnny Seesaws, Stratton Mountain and Manchester area. The layout was ideal for groups with kids. The lower level was great for them to hangout and feel like they had their own space where they could play pool, table soccer, or board games, etc. The main level had a nice open kitchen-dining-living area where we could all be together and play games, eat, and relax comfortably. There were 3 full bathrooms which was key for a large group like ours and all the amenities were there. Bedrooms had plenty of sleeping space as well. The space was immaculately clean. The one downside was there was no hot water in the showers. Even the first shower of the day was luke warm at best. Other than that, the accommodations were great and we enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient to Bromley, probably even closer than most of the mountain's own parking spots.

The house itself was perfect for our needs. Lots of room to spread out, a great game room for the kids and comfortable beds for the adults. Being able to walk to Bromley was a big plus. The house is very close to the main road, however, on a steady uphill climb for the cars and trucks passing at high speed. So it was noisy although there wasn't a lot of traffic at night. And, the water stank with a sulpher smell from the well. There was only one bathtub where the stopper worked (top of stairs) and the kids didn't want to take baths because it smelled, and the smell permeated part of the upstairs. Showers in the other bathroom seemed ok though.

Great space for larger groups. We had 9 people in our group and a couple of dogs. We had plenty of room to roam. Three full baths, full kitchen, large game room and large family room for gathering space. Never felt crowded. Excellent proximity to Manchester too.

Our family of 10 had a great stay in this 4 bedroom house;. The 2 bedrooms with bunk beds suited having teens and children with us. Good kitchen and open space for playing cards. Game room downstairs was well used. 3 bedrooms had air cooling units. It was a hot August. We could have used air cooling unit in 4th bedroom. It was fun to all be together as we gathering for a family wedding at Johnny Seesaws down the road. Thanks, Kathy

Great location! We were at the Vermont summer festival and it was a quick 14 minute drive to the horse show. The drive also passes some restaurants and the market so that was extremely convenient. The house sleeps a number of people and it had AC! The game room is fantastic. Check in was super easy the kitchen is pretty well stocked. If the house is available next year during the horse show I would definitely rent again!

Great house with a Great Location
House fight all the groups needs, nice sized living room area with big tv, downstairs was great with the pool table and fooseball, both were a big hit with the group. The house is in a perfect location for Bromley and a short ride to Stratton which we went to. All mountains, restaurants and grocery stores are in a 5-20 minute drive from the house. I would definitely recommend booking this house to anyone looking to go to either mountain.

Family ski weekend
Beautiful Vermont Home!!!!
We had a wonderful time even though we had rain Saturday. But the weather did not keep the skiers off the slopes.
There is not much more to say about this property except it was EVERYTHING we expected. Cleaner then clean and the
kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. Plenty of comfortable beds for all 12 of us. With 6 adults and 6 kids there was plenty of room to enjoy ourselves without getting in each others way. The game room was a BIG hit!!!!!
The only negative I can say is the lack of information regarding the TV. We had to call to find out how it worked. James was very helpful and talked my husband thru the procedure. A welcome book would have been helpful so that we didn't have to bother him.
We also could have used a spare roll of toilet paper and more dishwasher soap. (only 1 tablet available)
We would certainly return if available next time we book a family ski weekend.

Ski house
Overall our stay in this house was good, but I most likely wouldn't rent this property again.. The house was in a great location for skiing, but it's on an extremely busy road. It was difficult to pull out onto the road and it was very noisy during the night. Also, I found some of the amenities to be misleading. For instance, it says fireplace. There is only a small electric blower that doesn't heat the entire first floor. Also, the video games didn't work at all. There is a pool table that was difficult to use and was in bad shape. There was also writing in chalk from the table all of the walls and ceiling, from children I assume. I think for the cost of the house it should be in better condition. I found myself having to buy cleaning supplies to make the house more tolerable.

Overall a great mountainside stay
Stayed with a group of families/friends to ski Bromley.
The Good: The location is very close to Bromley Mountain, literally a few hundred yards. The house is large and open, excellent for families with children to spread out and play. The house has all your necessities but is overall pretty basic, without frills. Don't expect a fancy five star experience, but it's perfect if you are more interested in skiing than anything else. The house is clean, but a little worn. Paper products and linens are provided but it is a limited number of towels and paper. Fortunately the property manager dropped off more TP and paper towels as well as garbage bags. The game area downstairs is great, however the two arcade machines weren't functioning (they weren't in the listing so it wasn't a big deal) and the pool table ball return takes some effort to get it to work, but otherwise was a great addition. Hopefully they can repair the arcade games, I think we would have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of them.
The bad: Parking is a little precarious, as you are on a busy highway, particularly when there is snow and ice, which we had. Having said that the property manager came on our second day and plowed out that area which was enormously helpful. Also, the mountain is very close, but it's an uncomfortable walk down the highway when there is little shoulder because of the snow, or it is a challenging little hike uphill to the trails. Not a big deal for adults, but something to keep in mind if you are bringing little ones. We ended up driving down despite the short distance and using the parking lot. Also, the water pressure is very low in the house, so don't expect a long, relaxing post skiing hot shower, you'll want to get in and out quickly. Also, because of the water pressure the dishwasher didn't really clean the dishes at all. We ended up hand washing everything.
However, the positives far outweigh the negatives and we will likely be returning next year. Definitely a great, no frills ski house. Thank you.

Great space for large group!
Right down the street from Bromley and 15 mins to Stratton. Recommend for a large group that want a great space to hang out when their not ski.
