Beautiful cottage set on a farm making it a peaceful getaway. Set up with everything you might possibly need. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Within easy reach of lots of fab places to visit. We loved it here, didn't want to leave and would definitely book again!

It was a warm and cosy cottage, couldn't have asked for more

Location was fine cottage was lovely
Hosting was nonexistent may have said hallo to some one working there but as they didn’t introduce them selves not to sure. No one asked if everything was ok ..we were totally ignored . I felt someone just introducing themselves and checking was a common curtesy as they lived on-site. I have visited before Covid and felt there was a marked difference

Comfortable beds
Everything just needs a bit of a clean.

A very nice quiet location set in a farm courtyard with beautiful authentiec traditional cottages.
A local pub within walking distance and a very short drive into Sidmouth.
It would be good, I think to let people know to bring Sugar, Salt, pepper etc as the cottage kitchen is left completeley empty, which is understandiable due to COVID, but perhaps make it clear to guests.

A wonderful place to stay! A roomy, comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage. Fun activities on site including table tennis and tennis. Pretty and tranquil location. I’m sure we’ll be coming here again!

We really enjoyed our stay and the facilities offered suited us admirably.
Nothing particularly.

cosy and well furnished with lovely views across the hills from upstairs windows
old cottage so kitchen cupboards staring to smell musty and bathrooms could do with an update and at least a new shower head in the en-suite and mould removing from tiles/ grout

Myself and my partner have just stayed at the fabulous Grannary cottage at Boswell Farm. The cottage is perfect, with everything you could possibly need for a long self catered weekend. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a bbq fire pit just outside the front door in the wonderful courtyard area with picnic benches for dining alfresco. Inside the cottage really gives a homely atmosphere with large comfy sofa, smart tv and kitchen dining area for a 'home from home' experience! Upstairs are two rooms, one with ensuite and the other with a seperate bathroom with bath. The beds are super comfy and the bedding is crisp white with a thick topper if you feel the chill. We slept really well and laying looking out the window over to the fields with our own lightning display was a treat! Getting around the local area from the cottages is so simple, it's the perfect base for exploring the East Devon coastline which is truly beautiful. The grounds to the farm which we explored are really something to behold, we took our dog Alfie with us so his walks were enjoyed by us all, views to die for especially sunrise and sunset. The hosts are so friendly and accomodating, great to talk to and really down to earth, they made us feel very comfortable and even gifted us a bottle of Moet as their first proposal at the cottages! The cottages will forever hold a special place for us now and we can't wait to come back in August to stay again... they won't be able to get rid of us now! :-)
Everything was just perfect!

very comfortable and clean cottage. the Grannary suited the three kids and dog superbly. The kitchen and living room were perfect for what we needed and after long walks we relaxed with the many comfy sofas. Local pub superb for food and only 15min walk and takes dogs!
tennis court needs some work on the surface as was a bit green and dangerous.

Very comfortable, plenty of space.

Loved the character of the property itself, great location and although it’s on a farm with other cottages, we felt we had the privacy we wanted. Also the tennis courts and area in general was great.
Only thing I could fault is some dust and the general outdated ness of the property, however this did not affect our stay at all. Just a personal preference.

Super quiet, but close to Sidmouth beach, games and play area for children, interior was to a very high standard. Beautiful english garden feel climing around the cottage.

Character, setting, comfort. Clean, comfortable beds. Nice aesthetics
Beginning to look just a little dated in the bathrooms and kitchen. Not significant, but falls a little short at this price point.

Very comfortable, warm, plenty of hot water! The location!! Shame about “COVID” as we didn’t meet our “hosts” however in contact by email, also given mobile no’s so if we had a problem someone would have been on hand! But no problems!! Fantastic place thoroughly recommend!! Thank you!!!
Nothing!!
