Best place we’ve stayed in over 30 years! Loved all the comfy couches and space. Had everything we needed. One big improvement would be decent chairs on the front porch. We are porch sitters early and late and those benches are awful. Thanks for a great stay.

After checking in I immediately went to book it again for the next year, that’s how much we loved it. Bummed to see it not available.

We had a great time! Thank you Christopher.

The walk to the hop on-hop off bus tour is just a few blocks and so is Frenchman Street. A few blocks further to the French Market. The neighborhood is transitional and easy to navigate during the day, but harder at night as there aren't a lot of lights in the area. A good place for a group of friends!

Central location for the City! Easy walk or Uber to all the sights and sounds of the big easy. Exceeded our expectations!!

We absolutely loved our stay in the best neighborhood in NOLA, close enough to the tourist attractions and far enough too. The locals are fantastic, super friendly. The accommodations were everything you could ask for, the host very flexible, honest and professional

We had a great stay at the Marigny Retreat. The house was just as described, very spacious, comfortable, and neat. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming, and the house is in a great spot for getting to Frenchman street and the French Quarter while still being on a quiet street. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was really nice, maybe nicer than the pictures showed. We got into town about 30 or 40 minutes early so I reached out to our host to see if we could check in.
He responded quickly to let us know it was fine. The lock on the house was a bit tricky so our host quickly showed us how to use it.
The house was clean, the neighborhood was great and we were in walking distance to restaurants and bars.
We fully enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again

This is our 4th time renting this location and it always is great place to stay. Large Living Room/Dinning room combination offers a great space to hang out as a group. Three bathrooms is perfect for sharing. Bunk room offers space for larger groups. Place is very clean, area is safe, and heard almost no noise. The location is so close to Frenchmen St that it offers such a short walk home that you have no worries about getting home and allows you to enjoy music and food to the last drop.

This house was perfect for our group. The amenities were exactly what is needed. There were plenty of towels and dishes. Supplies (coffee filters, trash bags, soap, TP, S&P, sugar) were stocked well. The beds were reasonable. The house has more charm than the listing reflects and the neighborhood is my favorite!

Wanted to take my family and a few friends to experience Mardi Gras and this house was one of the better deals I found. Location was great as it was quiet but near the music of Frenchman and easy to walk into the French Quarter. Super market is just a few blocks away which is super convenient. The house was nice and spacious with easy check in / check out. My only recommendation to improve things would be the bunk beds ladders are a bit worn and 2 of the 4 bunk bed mattresses squeak a bit if you roll over. Will wake up a light sleeper. Other than that, everything else was great and would look to stay at this property again for my next visit.

This is our second stay here in 2 years so that's the best review I can make is that I came back. We love this location because it is close to Frenchman, a grocery store, restaurants, and walkable to the French quarter. The house is well laid out, stocked and clean. It is also very roomy and comfortable for when you need a break from the crowds.

This location was a great find for a fun weekend. The space was very clean, fit everyone in my group comfortably, and we felt we had everything we needed. Frenchman Street and the French Quarter were very accessible to walk to. We didn’t need to drive once while there. Christopher the owner was very responsive and flexible. I would suggest anyone book their stay here when visiting such a fun city!

It truly was a great location. We were able to walk to Frenchman street in less than 5 minutes as well as great coffee houses. The neighborhood feels safe and the house itself is spotless. Definitly the first time I've taken a bath at a rental and trusted the bathtub was clean. The shower was actually broken though in the shared upstairs bathroom. I had some difficulty communicating with the owner, and figured out to directly text vs using the VRBO app. Owner was accomadating to special circumstances. Overall a lovely home and perfect place for a home base while visiting the area.

Check in process was quick, easy, and the home was very clean! There was available parking on the street each day. Home is located in a wonderful neighborhood with coffee shops within walking distance.
Shared backyard with multiple neighbors. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper or want to sleep in.
Would absolutely stay here again!!

One of the nicest homes on the block and it's a lot bigger than it looks. Within walking distance from a few trendy venues and 20 minute walk to Bourbon St.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The property was in great condition and we loved the location. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and updated, which made this a great place to stay and experience the French Quarter. Note that the garage and driveway visible in the listing photos are not included with the rental, so if you are bringing a vehicle plan on street parking. We had no problems Uber/Lyft-ing around town when heading somewhere that was not walkable. We did not have any children with our group, but the bunk bed room is down on the lower level while the rest of the living space is upstairs (stairs are right off the kitchen). Very good set up for those travelling with kids or if someone in your group wants a little 'retreat' from the rest of the group.

This place was a perfect spot for me and my friends to enjoy a long weekend in The Big Easy! We could not have asked for a better location near Frenchman Street and the French Quarter! Short walk to a fantastic local coffee shop and a market. The pictures don’t do justice to how nice this house is and Christopher was fantastic!

Family NOLA trip
Staying at this home for our family trip to NOLA made walking to Frenchman, Bourbon, Royal, and all the other French Quarter streets very easy. We had extended family staying in another VRBO home just about two blocks down so it was great being so close to them to meet up each day for whatever plans we had. The home is clean and comfortable and well stocked. We never had any problems with the home and Christopher always responded promptly. It was nice having 3 showers with the adults and teenagers.

Perfect in every way!
This home is the perfect place for our family to stay. It is conveniently located near Frenchman street and a short walk to the French Quarter and the street car line. Groceries can be purchased 2-3 blocks from the house. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking breakfast and the dining room table was a great place to gather for coffee each morning. The house is SO comfortable with 3 full bathrooms! Owner is quick to respond to questions. We have stayed in this home twice, and now my family says it is tradition. We will be returning soon!

Lots within walking distance. Vibrant, artistic neighborhood full of good vibes. Check out The Ruby Slipper for great breakfast & Drago’s for the best oysters I’ve ever had!

Nola retreat
What a wonderful house… loved sitting on the front porch in the morning having coffee. Some really great breakfast spots close by and Lorrettas beignets were the best!! More than enough room to spread out with 6 adults.

Very nice place
The place was exactly as advertised. We were only four, so we had plenty of space, but it seems like it would be very good even for two families (with the kids in the bunk-bed room downstairs). It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and in short we had no complaints whatsoever. Christopher was easy to reach and offered to help with anything, though he had taken care of everything, so there was nothing that we needed him for. Of special note is that the location is excellent, since there are good jazz/music places right on Frenchmen's and it's only a short walk into the Quarter. It's a bit of a hike to some of the museums (don't miss the WWII one, it's really, really good), but doable, and you can always take an uber. Also, the kitchen is really well-stocked, so you can easily cook (though it's New Orleans, so I'd go out), or at least have breakfast and snacks .

Great location and plenty of space.
The property is just as described. We had 6 people and had plenty of room, living space, sleeping space and bathrooms. The walk to Frenchman street was 3 blocks and walking to the French Market and Jackson Square were also very reasonable. It was easy to get an Uber and reasonably priced as well if you didn't want to walk. There is a grocery store about 3 blocks away for supplies and a great ice cream shop just a block over. This was a perfect house for us and the owner was quick to respond to questions. Great stay, great space, great location, very clean, and I loved sitting on the porch.

Running and partying
The home in Marigny was so nice. We came down to run a 10K and stayed the week to experience New Orleans. The house is super clean and comfortable. It was easy to check in and out. Frenchman is very close by (we prefer Frenchman over Bourbon St.) The property owner was immediately available by text when I had a quick question about the check out procedure. Would definitely recommend this house.
