Your vacation home is extremely well located. Walk to the adjacent harbor at Keauhou Bay where you can organize sport fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, outrigger canoeing, and sunset sails.

Similarly, pampering can be found at the nearby Outrigger Keauhou Spa. Restaurants and shops are conveniently located just up the hill at Keauhou Shopping Center.
There are also trips to Waipi'o Valley in the north for hiking and horseback riding; helicopter tours; hiking and viewing the active Kilauea Volcano in the south; and treks up Mauna Kea, a volcanic peak rising some 14,000 feet above sea level!

The unit and views were exactly as advertised-wonderful. We had a great busy week in Kona, even when Hurricane Hone hit the other side of the island. Those 13,000' volcanoes kept it over there.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo for a month and it was absolutely amazing. The best parts were having coffee on the lanai every morning, the ample space, beautiful decor, and just the ease of feeling at home. The bed slept comfortably, and the A/C kept the space cool. We would love to stay here again in the future.

It was a wonderful place to stay. We loved listening and watching the waves roll in. It is my favorite thing to do. The accommodations were fantastic. A well stocked kitchen, lovely decor, and a great location!!

Great property, very calm and quiet. Ocean front views, but not beach accessible, only rocks.

Such a perfect spot to sit and watch the ocean with whales passing by. Beautiful sunsets! Shopping center close by with several restaurants, a grocery store, and a farmer’s market on Saturdays. Lovedour stay!

Very nice property. Great view. However; the air conditioner could not keep the temperature comfortable in the late afternoon. Most days it exceeded 80 degrees. One day it was 84 on the thermostat. Considerably higher in the living room.

Great spot, what you see on VRBO is exactly what you get. Easy access, great amenities and seamless transaction. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to catch up on much needed R&R.

The view from the deck was absolutely gorgeous. Spent majority of time out there while at the condo. Good location with a short drive to Kona town for shopping and dining. Wonderful sunsets with great picture opportunities!

Had a great stay. The ocean is just off the lanai, with amazing views (especially at sunset). We saw dolphins pass by several mornings and loved listening to the waves. One of the complex’s pools is also just steps away.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location was great! The lanai was a nice size and we had exceptional views. The grounds are very well maintained. The condo is well stocked and any issue that came up the property manager, Trixie, was always quick to respond in helping us. We would definitely stay here again. Our only small negative is that the flooring could be updated.

It was the perfect location for our vacation! Cannot say enough about this wonderful place. We were amazed by the views and the quality of the property and the condo was a true home away from home! We felt like we had the best place in the whole island! We were able to enjoy panoramic views of the sunsets from our lanai and was only steps away from the pool for easy dips and relaxing hot tub soaks during our stay. Beach supplies closet was a surprise plus! 10 stars out of 5!

We loved our stay here. The condo is beautiful, and the location and view can’t be beat! Beds were comfortable, kitchen well-appointed. We were very happy for our week here. Thanks!

The property was very clean with many great amenities, from a pool to tennis courts. Favorite thing: Sitting on the patio watching/listening to the waves crash against the shoreline as we sipped our morning coffee or played some late-night cards. The location was very convenient too! Recommend changes: furnishings kind of outdated and worn ...I'd rate 4 - 4.5 for this reason.

Best Place to Stay!!
"Million Dollar view" describes it perfectly as you sit on the lanai with waves rolling onto the lava no more than 50' away. The first floor condo is beautiful with Asian & Hawaiian decor. The kitchen is outfitted as well as my own. Ignore an earlier comment about stains on the carpet; yes, other renters have been careless but not enough to detract from this exceptional condo. The area is so much lovelier than Alii Drive and the main snorkel charters are 5 minutes away. Don't miss out & stay somewhere else!!

This condo was awesome all the way around. Beautiful sunrise/sunset. We loved breakfast on the porch. Pool was very nice, right next to this condo. Extremely clean, well maintained and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Thank you

Just Right
Beautiful home, very nice property and amenities. We enjoyed the pool and had hoped to use the tennis courts, but missed out. The staff of the community is very friendly and helpful. The unit itself had an awesome overall and sunset view. The place was clean and tidy. the bedrooms were very comfortable. The windows open in every room, but can let in outside activity noise- mostly it did not bother us- it did not seem excessive for a community. Shopping, groceries, movie theater and restaurant only about 3-5 minutes away up the road. Other options available within 10-15 minutes of driving. Easy trip from the airport.

Paradise in Kona
This was an amazing property! The sunsets were unbelievable from the spacious lanai. This condo had everything and more for a comfortable stay. I mean, they have Henckels knives in the kitchen! It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. I plan on booking another stay if only to use the GIANT master bathtub. The condo was very close to the oceanfront pool, which was nice to enjoy. We needed the AC, was completely worth the minimal daily extra charge. The Big Island was breathtaking, and this condo was perfectly located for us to have a perfect 25th anniversary trip. Can't wait to return!

Location, location, location
This was our first VRBO rental and it was fantastic! We already recommended it to folks. We even had a couple walk past our rental and wanted all the information to rent this property!
Wonderful memories! Every night watching the sunset from the balcony. This is what we wanted in Hawaii!

The Perfect Place
This place was perfect for our family. It is very spacious and well decorated. Another thing that I appreciated was that this is part of a private community in a quiet neighborhood. The view of the ocean and hearing the waves while you are falling asleep was the icing on the cake for us. In fact, my youngest kept asking if this was our new house and wanted to stay there forever.

Amazing Kanaloa Condo
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful two week stay in this condo. This is the second time we have rented from Liam, and the experience is seamless. The condo is lovely, just as it is pictured. It is literally right on the ocean, and we love relaxing on the lanai watching the waves, the manta boats at night, and looking for whales. The condo was clean, beautifully furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped. The location of the condo is perfect, a few miles from the bustle of Kona, but close to shopping, snorkeling, and is in a nice area for walking. We have been going to the Big Island for 10 years, and this is by far the nicest condo we have stayed in.

Great Complex, Amazing Condo Location.....Unit needs maintenance and updating...
A stay at a vacation rental is all about your expectation of the property. You cannot expect luxury if you are not paying for it. This condo unit is really all about the ocean front location and that is what you are paying for. See below for some more details on our overall stay.
General Info: Four adults stayed at this condo from February 4-14, 2022 (10 nights). This was our 5th trip to the Big Island and 7th trip to Hawaii overall. We have stayed at a total of 6 different hotels and vacation homes over the years on the Big Island.
The Good: Liam was very responsive to our requests and questions when booking. Management of the condo complex is excellent and very professional. Security is always present and friendly with gated access. Ocean front location is one of the best in the whole complex. Also, right next to the pool and gas grill. Spacious unit with plenty of room for 4 adults. Lots of masks, snorkels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, floaties that have been left by previous guests. High-speed internet and cable TV worked fine during our stay including some work conference calls. Kitchen has everything you need, however some of the cooking items simply need to be replaced. If you rent this unit you are paying for the ocean front location mainly. The ocean front pool can get busy but the two other pools were not that busy and we enjoyed going to those when we were looking for quiet time. Hot tubs worked well and were set to the right temperatures.
What could be better: The unit appears to have many of the original finishes from when it was built in 1980 (42 years ago). The interior of the unit is simply old, well worn/used and in need of repair in many places. Many indoor light fixtures, lamps, switch plates and electrical outlets were significantly rusted. The unit has white carpet that is significantly worn and the owner asks you to do your best to keep it clean (really?). The sliding doors to the laundry area require some muscle to open since the sliding mechanism is probably rusted – if you are not a strong person you may have struggled to access the laundry area. I spent about an hour swapping out light bulbs since quite a few were not working. I could make a long list of things here that need repair or replacement. To put it simply, with a few exceptions everything on the inside of the unit is likely 20-40 years old and it shows. Stay here for the location but the unit may leave you disappointed.

Absolutely Gorgeous View
My husband and I recently stayed in this condo with our two adult children and it could not have been a more perfect location. It is clean ,nicely furnished and well stocked with incidentals. Liam was wonderful to work with. He is available and even went so far as to refund us the last two nights because we had to leave early due to a medical emergency! I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Big Island!

The Best View
This condo is a gem! It’s location can’t be beat. We spent countless morning and evening hours just sitting on the lanai watching the waves roll in and break on the rocks. Watching the sunset every night - priceless. It was clean, quiet, and had all the amenities that we needed. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location
As reviewed before, location on the island is the perfect base for beaches, site seeing and amenities.
Hapuna is a great frolicking beach. Kahalu'u a couple minutes north on Ali'i drive has excellent snorkeling. (Advise watersocks; getting in and out of water is rocky)
Tropics tap house at the nearby shopping center has great burgers. Fosters kitchen in Kailua Kona is excellent.
This is the best situated unit on the complex. Watching crashing waves and sunsets on the lanai. The unit has everything you need for the kitchen and extras for beach days.
Can't say enough about Liam.
He was so gracious and reassuring last year when we had to cancel due to covid. He is always incredibly responsive but most appreciated when we had trouble with our vrbo app on check in.
Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone planning a trip to the Big Island.

Living the Aloha dream
This condo is absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful time watching the sunset, watching our children in the pool, and seeing dolphins and turtles swim by. The beds were comfortable in the air conditioning was fantastic. The location is perfect for all the adventure trips you can think of. We even brought our paddle boards and walked down to the small harbor in the mornings. The Fairwinds Captain Cook snorkel tour is a must! We would love to stay there again!

Like Home in Paradise
Liam was a joy to work with. Very special...
The condo is probably in the best location in the whole resort. Easy access to the Ocean Pool and BBQ. Clean and inviting.
Nightly sunsets were directly in front of the lanai...waves crashing...topped off by some pretty good Mai Tai’s. A Taste of Paradise.

Perfect Location and a great unit
This condo is literally right on the lava with the waves breaking 50 feet away. The complex and this unit are in good condition and are a great base for exploring the Big Island.

Anniversary Getaway
We had an amazing time at this property. We woke each morning to Kona Coffee on the deck where we watched whales, and dolphins swim by. Although the condo is surrounded by other units, and is in close proximity to the pool we felt the property to be very quite and peaceful. The condo is located in a great area where there is very easy access to the pool, tennis courts, beaches, hiking trails, golf, restaurants, & grocery stores. I would highly recommend this property as we were completely satisfied with the unit, the cleanliness, and the accessibility of the property manager when we had questions.

Great location, great ocean views
We had a fantastic time staying in Keauhou. Love the area. The condo had everything we needed and we appreciated the safety and security provided by the condo complex. Spent our mornings looking for whales from the balcony and enjoyed the sounds of the waves in the evenings.

Would Stay Again
Great view right on the ocean’s edge, crashing waves and occasional whales. Wonderful location for shopping and nearby to many beaches. The kitchen was well appointed and had a French Press for the fantastic Kona peaberry coffees. A welcome respite during the Covid-19 outbreak.
