Great property! Big outdoor decks overlooking beach... three proper bedrooms ... spacious living and dining areas. Very easy access and clear instructions. Needed more days, longer stay!

We stayed at Pedro Point after a Road Trip through California. The house was located at a hill with a stunning view over the bay. We were lucky to see a few whales right from the deck and even the breakfast table every day! Terry was a great host, answering every question within minutes. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed ! The location offers short distances to visit San Francisco and the coast south via Highway 1 to Monterey etc… we just had to get used to the fog hanging at this part of the coast …

I wish we could have stayed longer! What an amazing home with a gorgeous view. Did I mention the whales and sea puppies we saw. This was a fabulous location.
I would recommend this stay to anyone. 10/10

Spent two days in San Francisco and this was a perfect location to get out of the city for the night.

Plenty of space for our family of 5 (one slept on the couch). Location is about 30 minutes to San Francisco which was perfect for us. View of the beach is awesome! Don’t expect a state of the art home with all the fancy fixtures. Yes it could use some updating but that’s not why you’re staying here. Terry was a great host left us a bottle of wine and easy check in. Would definitely stay again if we were to come back to the area.

What a perfect place for our family. The home was spacious, clean, and equipped with all we needed, not to mention a spectacular view of the ocean. And Terrie could not have been more responsive and accommodating. We hope to return one day soon.

This place gave us exactly what we were looking for! Perfectly located with an amazing ocean view. Home itself had everything we needed. Only wish we had more time!

AWESOME VIEW! You are definitely paying for the view and you are getting that. However, some basic kitchen items need to be fixed or replaced (ie blender held together with duct tape). Laundry lights need to be replaced and the duct tape on the dryer door needs to be replaced otherwise the dryer has a hard time working. Lastly, a fresh coat of paint to cover impections and the metal showing on the drywall corner beads. Again the view is worth it but the the property feels a little tired.

We enjoyed our stay. The views are breathtaking and the home was clean although a bit weathered. Overall we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our weekend.

This was one of our best rental experiences! So welcoming and inviting and the house itself was very cool. The view was amazing- just breathtaking. My daughter and I walked into town for coffee and we walked up the hill for a sunrise view so the location was perfect on so many levels. We definitely hope to be back!

The ocean view was wonderful. The owner very friendly. Location excellent. So convenient to get to Half Moon Bay within 15 minutes. We were happy to have the opportunity.

A total fraud. Said quiet neighborhood. The ocean view pictures I saw turned out to be blotted out by construction with noise so loud and so close you couldn’t even escape it in the house so the deck was unusable. Did everything right. Notified owner & VRBO sent pictures which were not what was on the site. Checked out next day. Didn’t use showers or cook. Asked for a partial refund as I had to pay another 3 grand to take my family elsewhere. This was May 12th and both this owner and VRBO have strung me along, but no refund. I paid $3000 to stat one night in a place you would not want to go. I only gave one star because you can’t give zero.

2 levels of spacious accommodations with upper and lower deck overlooking Half Moon Bay. Short walk to local shopping area that includes an amazing coffee shop. Close to San Francisco, but a world away. Hope to visit again.

Our host, Terry was great. The location and the view were amazing! The house itself was very clean, however, it could use a little tlc. Peeling paint in some areas of the house, hardwood floors need some detailing but again, these are minor things. I had a great stay and would consider coming back.

Not only are the views from this property stunning, the sounds of the waves in the distance crashing, and echos of the nature surrounding you is pure nirvana. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!
Terry is not only a wonderful host and lovely person, he created a beautiful home that is aesthetically pleasing (due to his design and incredible art!), has great vibes, and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy life!
If you're looking for a clean, spacious, beautifully designed and decorated home then you should definitely book your next stay here! I know I can't wait to visit again soon!

My family spent three nights in Terry's home while visiting San Francisco, Muir Woods, Devils Slide Trail and Alcatraz. It was the perfect location with amazing views! It was clean and comfortable.
The proximity to the airport, beach and SF was perfect. Thank you for your hospitality Terry!

We had a great time in this cozy house. The view is amazing and is one block from the beach where there is a trail to run, bike or walk. Its a surf beach too and pet friendly. The house is well maintained and nicely decorated. Its equiped with everything needed, such as kitchen utensils and toiletries. Its a 20-30 minute drive to SF. The bedding is so comfortable (down comforters and pillows!). We were 6 adults and 2 small dogs and were comfortable enough in the house. Terry (the owner) was so nice and received us with a bottle of wine. We will definetely be back!

Watch out this guy will take your money, cancel your reservation, and be extraordinarily passive in his communication! We booked in August for our October trip, two days later we received information from him stating that the 2nd payment had been cancelled (which never should have been charged at that time per the contract,) but nothing stating that the reservation had been canceled. Upon double checking 24 hours before the trip, he informed that he had canceled the reservation in August. In fact he had only communicated that he had canceled a the second payment. We had to scramble to find a place last minute and after checking our bank statements we became aware that he never refunded the first payment. He has been awful in returning communications and money! He still has yet to get back to us regarding reimbursement in full. He does this because he can, watch out!

The artist house is a beautiful place to stay. The comfort, the view and the artist touch are great.
The welcome was very friendly with a big smile , tips and a fine wine.
We recomand this house to others!!
We enjoyed our stay every day.

Loved the view of the ocean from the house! Was plenty big enough for our family to spread out and relax when we weren't on the run exploring the many things San Francisco has to offer. I definitely recommend to anyone! The owner was great to deal with and the house was nicely equipped.

Location is perfect! Very easy drive to restaurants, groceries, and San Francisco! Terry was wonderful, greeted us and provided us with local info and city advice. The house was very clean and the view was spectacular! We had no idea we'd be whale watching from the deck!

We enjoyed the stunning views and quiet neighborhood of Pedro Point at Pacifica. The house sits high above Linda Mar, a favorite spot for surfers. Supermarket, shops and restaurants are just at the bottom of the hill. Try the crab sandwich on grilled sourdough at Nick's, just up the road.
We had six adults in our group, and we found the house to be ideal. The kitchen has a commercial-grade gas oven, stovetop and grill, which we enjoyed using for breakfasts and dinners during the week. The large dining table accommodates six, and we used it for mealtime as well as lots of card playing and board games in the evening. The house has a very large flat-screen TV; however, we spent the week unplugged and never turned it on. High efficiency washer/dryer was very handy and allowed us to travel light.
For day trips into San Francisco, we drove to the BART station at Daly City. Parking is $3/day, and the roundtrip fare into the city is $6.50/person. Parking is scarce during the day at the station, but we managed to find a spot each time. If you want to drive into the city and park, I highly recommend using an app such as Parking Panda to reserve a spot in advance.
San Francisco offers a plethora of things to experience. Our itinerary included Ft. Bonita, Muir Woods, Sausalito, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiardelli Square, the Powell-Hyde cable car line, Chinatown, Little Italy, Lombard St., a humpback whale watching cruise (amazing experience!), and a tour of Alcatraz—highly recommended! If you want to see the Castro district, I believe the historic F Market streetcar line on the Embarcadero will take you there. Can't recall what the best way to Haight-Ashbury is.
We met Terry, the owner, and enjoyed chatting with him. He maintains an art studio and apartment next door to the home and is available via text messaging. The house is adorned with all-original artwork by Terry and his friends, which added to the interest and character of the house. Overall, I would say it is truly one of the best vacation rental values in the Bay Area. A 20-minute drive to SFO airport and 20-30 min into the city, yet has the relaxing feel of being away from it all in a visually beautiful setting. We spent our final day just relaxing and soaking up the sun on the home's very large balcony overlooking Linda Mar.
I'd go back tomorrow, if I could!
