The property is first rate. The host is excellent. The separate interior and exterior spaces are great for together time and time apart!

The house was great for 12 family members. Location was perfect and we even liked the train sounds nearby!
We could walk to the beach and to dinner or morning coffee.
We could have used more towels, some dish towels, and we were missing some sheets. The disposal had a leak and the kitchen cabinets could use some paint. Dining chairs need to be cleaned as do outdoor seat cushions. Don’t mean to be negative but these updates should be made to make it perfect!

Really enjoyed our stay. 11 family members stayed comfortably here; felt like we all had privacy. Home is beautiful and garden areas are very peaceful and fun for the kids. A bit of traffic noise, but we got used to it quickly. Some trains going by, but not a big deal and only seemed to run occasionally during the day. Location was great, very walkable to the beach and to Montecito's lower village. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was so relaxing we had a hard time leaving to go do anything! Location is 10/10 - one block to town and 5min walk to a great neighborhood beach. 5min drive to the funk zone. Everyone was very comfortable and felt right at home. The kids loved running around on the turf in the backyard while we BBQ'd. Would love to come back in the future and enjoy this beautiful place again.

The property is conveniently located to every desirable location in and around Montecito. It is well appointed and clean and has multiple, lovely outdoor spaces for group gathers or personal space. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would return again. The host went above and beyond and was really helpful and communicative.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we entered this place. The inside was beautiful, but the outside had us blown away. So much room to spread out and enjoy the entertaining backyards!

The good: 1.The home is in a great location with easy access to get everywhere in Montecito (walking distance to town and beach) and Santa Barbara (via e-bike) -Rental place in Montecito town.
2. Gardens of the home are beautiful and private and perfect to relax in and to have a nice BBQ
3. Beds are comfortable and large rooms except the one off the kitchen (Only a double bed room). All amenities were provided in Kitchen and bathrooms.
Issues: 1. Communication with the host was difficult. Did not respond to messages via text message and messages through VRBO took over a week as Chris said he had issues with VRBO platform.
2. Dates booked through VRBO did not match confirmation sent from the host and took several days to get confirmation for the actual dates booked.
3. Hot Tub was very dirty as there was sand all inside of it likely from prior guests that were staying there. We ended up not using it.
4. Only main living area (by kitchen) and kids bedroom is air-conditioned. Some nights were fairly warm. Would be nice to have fans in each bedroom.
Overall nice experience and would recommend staying here.

Easy walk to the beach or to the village to pick up fresh baked pastries for breakfast or take-out for dinner. Comfy beds, cozy blankets for late night movies, and well-equipped kitchen. Our extended family of 8 had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay - the property was plenty of space for our group of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids). We appreciated the large kitchen and all of the outdoor space. We weren't expecting to be so close to the train tracks (perhaps we missed that in the description) - but the noise wasn't bad. The ease of walking to the beach and "downtown" Montecito were a great plus!

The yard was so serene, there was enough space for us all to have our private moments to relax. The kitchen was well equipped for a fee of our gourmet chefs. Every bed was so comfortable. We didn't want to leave them or the property. The grocery store and restaurants were walking distance, we totally enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood . The famous Luckys Steak Restaurant was a total hit. I can't say enough about our experience it was everything I wanted it to be for my bday celebration . This property is perfect for all age groups

This lovely spacious home includes four bedrooms and surprisingly large and peaceful outdoor spaces. The kitchen is well equipped and designed, sufficient for quality food preparation for eight of us. The beach and commercial Montecito are readily walkable. Santa Barbara is a short drive away.
Two of the bedrooms seem a bit unconventional at first, although they both served very comfortably.
The entrance to the house is on a quiet side street, requiring a quick turn immediately off the exit ramp from Highway 101. This is easy after the first time. The highway was minimally audible, although train tracks run at the bottom of the street with only a few trains each day.
