Perfekt für die Durchreise geeignet

Das Zimmer war sauber und renoviert. Allerdings recht klein. Aber für ein Motel in Ordnung. Der Holzboden im Zimmer ist ein Pluspunkt. Es gibt kostenloses parken direkt am Motel. Liegt nah am Strand

Great stay !

Fantastic stay ! Very convenient location - steps from the beach. Very kind staff too. Bravo to motel 6 for protecting the planet by not having amenities and plastic cups. It’s time to change our habits in hotels too.

Preis-Leistung enttäuscht

Nähe zum Strand, Betten groß & bequem, Poolbereich ist windgeschützt. Genug Handtücher vorhanden, am Pool gibt es noch extra welche.

Spärliche Möblierung: Raum für 4 Personen, aber nur 1 Stuhl, kein Tisch zum zusammen sitzen. Preis-Leistung stimmt so einfach nicht.

Gute Lage - mehr auch nicht.

Das Motel liegt sehr nahe am Strand (2 Minuten zu fuß) und ist auch gut mit dem Pkw erreichbar. Das Zimmer hatte einen Schreibtisch und einen großen Fernseher. Für eine Person war ausreichend Platz vorhanden.

Dusche und WC waren in einem Raum abgetrennt, das Waschbecken samt Schrank im Hauptzimmer - sehr ungewöhnlich. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich sauber, allerdings war das obere Bettlaken etwas verfärbt und die Dusche etwas verschmutzt, es lagen noch einige Haare im Bad und im Hauptzimmer. Durch die dünnen Wände war jede Bewegung vor dem Zimmer bzw. auf dem Parkplatz davor sowie im Stockwerk darüber zu hören - daher allgemein sehr unruhig. Die Batterie des Rauchmelders war leer, sodass dieser bei Ankunft piepte - habe dann eine neue Batterie erhalten (alternativ wäre aber auch ein Zimmerwechsel möglich gewesen).

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Pokoje niewielkie ale czyste i mają wszystko co potrzebne

Klimatyzacja w pokoju z dwoma łóżkami typu Queen była bezpośrednio przy łóżku i wiała bezpośrednio na osobę śpiącą. Byała także bardzo głośna

Very clean and safe. Lovely pool. 24 hour staff. Parking good.

Bright lights left on all night in landing areas which shines through the curtains illuminating the room when your trying to sleep. Room also very small for 4 people.

Im Nachhinein wäre ich gerne länger als nur 1 Nacht geblieben

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, einmal über die Straße und Füße im Sand:-)Das einzige Hotel/Motel bei dem keine Gebühren für's Parken anfielen. Absolutes Plus- denn die können schon mal sehr hoch in Kalifornien ausfallen.Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten im schönen Ortskern von Santa Barbara

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte generell auf unserer Kalifornienreise nicht. Die Hotel/Motelzimmer sind einfach viel zu teuer. Man darf sie einfach nicht mit Deutschland vergleichen :-(

Las habitaciones están bien, pero muy mala atención.

Las habitaciones están bien, aunque son muchísimo más pequeñas de lo que parece en las fotos.

La atención del personal. Llegamos a las 10 de la noche, el check in fue muy lento, el chico que nos atendió no encontraba la reserva y su actitud era de desgana total. Cuando por fin nos dio la llave de la habitación, al abrir la puerta había gente dentro, en la cama! se pusieron a gritarnos y nos dijeron que nos fueramos de allí de forma amenazante. Nos dimos un buen susto y los que estaban dentro imagino que también. Volvimos a recepción y el chico que nos había dado la habitación nos dio otra y ni se disculpó. Muy mal.

Very good motel, would stay again

Retro decor, parking, free coffee in lobby in morning was very good and so appreciated.

Noise from rooms above and outside but that's motels for you. If new double glazed windows were fitted well, that would help.

Very cute comfortable motel in decent location with a seaview at the front and view of the mountains from the back.

The room had everything we needed, bed was comfy. Good location. Short walk to sterns wharf and the funk zone

We arrived early and asked if they could store our bags until check but the staff refused. We then returned at 3pm to be told our room wouldn’t be ready for 35mins which was a little frustrating

Clean and great location. Looks as if the place has recently renovated. For a Motel6 this is a good one.

Thin walls, no window/door insulation. You can hear every words from the neighbours. Door has a slight gap when closed.

Disappointing and loud

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room relatively clean.

Everything else was very disappointing. Super thin walls. You could hear the cars whizzing by way off in the distance. Whenever the person on the floor above moved around, you could hear the footsteps; you could hear a quarter dropped on the floor. Room was incredibly spartan. They don't even provide in-room toiletries; I had to go to the front desk to get shampoo and soap. Location was also disappointing. It's too far to walk to the main area of Santa Barbara. Nothing interesting in the area around the hotel. You need to drive to get anywhere you want to go. I will definitely never stay here again.

Fabulous location

We absolutely loved the location. It was so close to the beach, which was great. It's about a 30min walk to downtown, so we would do that in the evening to go for dinner and then get an Uber back that was only around $8.

It could be quite noisy at times. One night a couple nearby were clearly carrying on their party back in their room till the early hours.

The flagship motel 6 is everything you thought it would be - IF you like the early 1960’s

No Microwave, Deluxe Queen had a full bed, no pool after dark, tiny “retro” 60’s size room, 1 plastic chair NO table or 2nd chair in room.

It was by the beach

My room was a quadruple and it was very small, they didn’t let me know that housekeeping was only offered before 10:00 the office was not sufficiently stocked with basic necessities.I’m disabled and I asked for a lower level room to which they didn’t have available. Very disappointing

Good location but overpriced

The property is located a block back from the beach so a great location. It is clean, good towels.

It is over priced for what is on offer. The rooms are small. No toiletries or coffee making in the room (I see from other comments that they are available in the lobby). Lumpy pillows. The pool is very small. Wish I had read into others reviews more prior to booking because now I can see the valid comments. Feel I’ve overpaid and should have booked elsewhere.

Clean and tidy room with a great location. Friendly staff.

The room is noisy. Sound insulation is 0 and you can hesr every word spoken and every footstep outside the room. Furthermore, there is a road and a railway just a few blocks away which you get to hear. Also, the trains blow their horns every time they pass. Thank goodness they quiet down for the night.
