Amazing stay, good food

Modern property with luxury touches here and there. Also in the middle of a cloudforest, so that’s really great. Friendly staff and excellent food in the restaurant.

The rooms let quite some noise through. This isn’t really a problem, unless you have children next to your room. Hotel would’ve been a 10 if it was adults only.

Unique experience in the cloud Forrest. Most amazing staff ever!!!

Loved the wonderful staff! They were all amazing! Happy hour was great too!

We didn’t like the set up of the room. TV was in awkward place by the door making it difficult to enjoy when it rained all afternoon or while laying in bed upstairs. Kitchen had absolutely nothing in it but two small coffee cups. They could have at least put a couple of water glasses and some plates and utensils for such a big kitchen. Bathroom had no counter space for our toiletries. Evening shower on first night kept changing from good temp to ice cold to scalding hot…ouch

Superb

This is a beautiful hotel with a superb restaurant. Hands down the best food we've had in all our trip to CR. Both breakfasts and dinners, every dish we tried was delicious. The staff is beyond attentive and helpful, especially Daiana in the reception and Kenneth. There was construction close to our bungalow during our stay and the staff had solutions ready to make our stay enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and you can see animals right outside your doorstep. Highly recommend!

Stunning property up dirt track, staff so friendly and lovely clean spacious room. Bar and restaurant great service and lovely food. Wildlife- coatis and agoutis, plus monkeys

Property lovely only thing could do with is some short glasses for water in rooms and some hooks in bathroom. Wish we’d stayed longer

Breakfast was superb Luis was so attentive to our needs all the time

The first night the pillows was hard I told Marco about it, he changed all of them to a soft and nice pillows

Exceptional

Excellent stay! Very convenient location, yummy welcome drinks and small gifts on arrival, free mini bar, great view from the Junior Suite and restaurant, friendly staff with extreme attention to details. They even offered water and snacks on departure. Definitely will stay there again if we return to Monteverde.

The side road leading up to the hotel is a little bumpy and dark at night, but probably it's not something they can change.

Staff was incredible and attentive. The setting was beautiful and the cabins well kept. Restaurant was great too!

We had an issue with very lukewarm showers. It didn't seem that anything could be done to provide hot water. Everything else was great though!

Koora is amazing.

Koora Hotel is a hidden gem. The staff was amazing, as were the accommodations, location and food. Koora also has it's own private reserve, with some amazingly private trails. The staff remembered our names the whole time we were there, which is something we've never experienced anywhere else. We wound up with a flat tire on our rental car as we were checking out (nail in the tire 😑) and 2 of the guys at the hotel immediately jumped in to change it out for the spare. We would definitely stay at Koora again...we were a bit sad we didn't stay longer.

The internet was down during most of our stay, but it wasn't the end of the world without it.

the location is gorgeous, secluded in the cloud forest with a beautiful trail next to it. on a clear day, you will be able to see the Pacific Ocean in the distance. the hotel is very trendy and modern. the view from the room was mind blowing. most importantly, the service was amazing and personalized. the staff was extremely attentive to small details, addressed every family member by their names and made the stay memorable. we travel frequently but haven’t received such service in the vast majority of hotels. highly recommend this place

Perfection!

A perfect experience, in every aspect. We came as a family of 5, and took the bungalow. On arrival, the staff welcomed us at the parking lot and helped us. Gave us the perfect feeling of our stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous - in the woods, with a beautiful view and lots of wildlife around. We actually saw more animals there than in the parks. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a family of coaties. Then saw some more mammals, lots of birds and others. The room was big (2 floors) and with a large balcony with a wonderful view, and the bathroom downstairs is with a window to the forest - a great experience. It felt like they thought of all the small details: nets on the windows and doors, a/c, fans and heating, umbrellas to take, great local coffee. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good, in a large space with a beautiful view as well. Can't explain, again, how wonderful the staff was!

Our stay was perfect! Yet, you always have to find at least one point of improvement: we had not enough warm water in the morning (we did have the evening before)

If you’re going to Monteverde don’t stay anywhere but the Koora Hotel it is extremely special

The location is magical and the staff are exceptional. Felt like we were staying in the home of good friends.

The drive up to the hotel is somewhat precarious but the welcome more than compensated for that!

The staff was superb. So friendly and helpful. The food was 5 star delicious and pizza was custom made. Caotis in the jungle was fun. Loved everything about our experience.

An outstanding hotel experience!

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, despite only staying for one night. The rooms were lovely, with a spectacular view across Monteverde. The staff were the best part of our experience. They were delightful and made us feel very settled.

Wonderful people and unique bungalows

Amazing staff. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs and are truly caring and kind. The treehouse type room and the accompanying layout and privacy of each bungalow is superb. The adjacent and free for guests preserve and the wildlife around your room make it even better. The food and happy hour were quite delicious as well. Stop looking and book here.

amazing experience!

The property is located in an amazing forest with a wonderful view. The sunset was amazing. The food was amazing. The room that we were staying had a very cute balcony with a feeling like you are in the middle of the forrest. And finally the most wonderful thing about the property, from the very beginning of our arrival the staffs were so kind, so helpful and always with a big smile on their faces; Kenneth, Ali, Marcus and the ones that we unfortunately don’t remember the names… Thank you!

The only thing I would say about “not liking” it which was okey but could be better is the bathroom. It was a bit old and will be better to renovate…
