Monteverde is a beautiful place, the weather is perfect!

Beautiful property and located very close to stores and bakeries. The staff is exceptional. Will go back again for sure.

Wonderful hotel with a tranquil vibe.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel within walking distance to “downtown” restaurants. The room was huge and my family of four didn’t feel like we were on top of one another. Also, the breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast room was super tranquil. I’d stay again for sure.

The room did not have air conditioning, however. We were on a lower level and it was not too hot but I would imagine the higher rooms would heat up.

Needed to open window to sleep. Bugs and noise from other rooms got in.

Beautiful place, great stay

Everything in the room was beautiful. Good space, lots of natural light. Beautiful scenery. Very close to the center and next to everything. Staff was very nice and attentive

You could hear the person walking upstairs, but that was an exceptional case.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with amazing views and even better staff!

Absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast with wonderful staff located right by lots of great restaurants and shops. Also great location for many tours. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Monteverde

spacious room with amazing sunset view

amazing sunset view and quite nice rooms, although we specifically asked to be at the highest level, but were not put there. very good chef for dinner! everything was very tasty! great location as it’s above the city centre which is terribly dirty and noisy, so being outside with fresh air was perfect.

staff constantly forgot to bring us towels and didn’t really clean the room properly. lack of shower gel.. very poor breakfast. which was a surprise after an excellent dinner! quite noisy given just next to the road.

Lovely place to stay to enjoy Monteverde

Lovely place! Great view from the room. Comfy beds, great staff, view from restaurant was great too.

Gym needs fixing! Most equipment broken. Also wifi very slow.

Great Location and Excellent service !

The hotel is located just steps from the Santa Elena center. The rooms are huge! Very clean and decorated, the beds are large and comfortable. The breafast is fresh and delicious and the dining room staff gives good service. The reception staff gives exceptional service, every request / question was answered kindly. They work up to until 10 pm and have excellent English. There is free parking area. Overall great vaule for you money !

The room has no air conditioning or heating. And the faucet in the shower is challenging, especially when you want to shower with boiling water.

Great location and service

The location was great, being close to the main area of Monteverde. Service at reception and at the restaurant was exceptional! The Wi-Fi connection in and outside our room was strong. The room was spacious and had a mini fridge and smart TV.

The mattress wasn't comfortable, it was too soft for my liking. There was no AC, which would have been good to minimize the humidity in the room.

Great location, amazing view, had a really good dinner in the restaurant too

Front desk was not helpful, booked us a not-great evening tour (not recommended) and refused to honour our price at exit, saying they could not reach managers (after almost an hour on the phone)

Room was a good size!

Breakfast - Monotonous and lacked variety and taste! Cleaning of room was sporadic and not done well…. No interest by staff! Wifi in snd out!

This relaxing room was the highlight of our 2 week trip.

The tree top view was beautiful and the room was luxurious. Benjamin was helpful in our arrangements.

View from the room and restaurant was great. You can book tours and transport at the reception.

Night walk is a scam. First we walked on parking lot and than little bit around the hotel. For sure not worth the money we paid for. If you want to go on night walk I suggest to book online. Towels were not changed.

Disappointing expieriance

The room is big and comfortable, you have to walk up a step slop to reach it ( not accessibale for disabled people),

The staff in the dinning room was not pleasant, the breakfast is very simple ( scramble eggs and toast , a few pieces of fruit and coffie). Are toilet was plugged and they didn't come to fix and we were stock without a toilet .

Pleasant

The hotel has nice big rooms. Also the bathroom is big. So as family of 4 it is a great place to stay. The children liked the Netflix on the hotel TV.

We asked that we could have a room with a view. But we were not given one. Our room was quite dark. The sun was never to be seen there. We chose the hotel based on the view from there. So we were very disappointed when we (only) looked at trees and never had a glimpse of sun in the room.
