The view and location was great. Was a little put off at no responses when i text and emailed because we could not find hand soap. But they wanted us to start a load of bedding laundry before we left. Thought that should be part of the cleanin fee duties.

Fine, comfortable main bedroom

Easy to find, close to both state and national park. I loved having a washer/dryer. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. Beds were comfy. Good water pressure in the shower.

We were happy with the location. The house was clean. There were very strong smelling air fresheners, three in all, arranged throughout the house. We were greeted with the noxious fumes of these air fresheners right when we walked inside. We put them out in the porch right away. Not all the lightbulbs worked, so we switched some around into the lamps that we wanted to use. The reading (bedside) lamps were severely bright white LED bulbs that were not ideal to have on before bedtime. A softer bulb with less lumens would be better.
The only other issue was that there are rv’s parked right up against one side of the home. The occupants of the RV were not noisy, but a diesel pick up started up at 6am and sat for a while, 10 minutes, before taking off for the day. Since we had our windows down it was not the best way to wake up to the smell and sound of a large engine idling for a while at 6 in the morning.
Other than that we enjoyed our two night’s stay.

We enjoyed it very much. We stayed 2 nights, the cabin was clean and tidy. Our son got married there and the scenery was the perfect backdrop for a small family wedding!
Just a heads up tho, you may or may not have a camper just a few feet from your back door. Which didn't bother us at all, but it might some.

Wonderful location. Comfortable accommodations, has everything you need. It does need a little TLC ( a few pieces of furniture was broken) .
BUT, even with that, I would stay there again. Communication was easy and they were helpful.

Overall, a very good experience. We had a group of friends renting two cabins. The properties were clean, sufficient for our needs, well located for our activities. We were very close to Medora downtown and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
We had a morning flight home out of Bismarck, so having to wash bedding and towels before we left was a bit of a bother. Not a big deal but have never had that requirement in any other of the many, many VRBO properties we have rented through the years.
Still would recommend this property

Breathtaking view
Brad's home was perfect for our brief visit to the Theodore Roosevelt Park. It lived up to our expectations from the description and reviews on the website. As mentioned by others, the house is immaculate, nicely appointed, welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, and we can't say enough about the gorgeous view from the porch.

Nice Enough Place
The cabin was clean, adequately furnished and in an excellent location. However, there were major maintenance issues both inside and out which made the stay less than enjoyable. These issues were obvious and should have been addressed prior to our staying there. As such, we made do and didn't bother to contact the host.

Great Alternative to a hotel
This was a great place to stay for our family. Close to town and also to Sully Creek State Park for hiking & biking trails. Also close to Bully Pulpit if you are a golfer. We were very happy with the property. Nice little deck w/chairs & table and a gas grill.

Everything we needed
Clean well maintained home. Location was nice, too - outside of town just a bit.

Good views
We had a great stay. Cabin was clean, though bathroom door wouldn't stay shut and switch for fan didn't work. We had trailers around us, but folks were friendly and quiet.. beautiful views of scenery, even deer walking through the buttes.

Awesome location for a little cabin in the Badlands
Not the fanciest of cabins and there are RV hookups right outside but… location location location! Beautiful badlands surround. The outdoor deck w grill is sweet! Less than 5 min drive from Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. You can walk to the Sully Creek State Park and the Ma Daa Hey Trail (best views)

We’ll stay here again!
It was exactly as described. My husband and I my and 87 year old mother stayed here for a week, it was quiet and the surroundings were beautiful. There are campers parked next to you but you would never know it as it was super quiet. Sitting out on the porch in the evenings was so peaceful. The kitchen is equipped for six people so we did bring paper plates and plastic silverware along with spices for the few times we cooked in. Will definitely rent it again.

Medora cabin
Clean, good location, nice accommodations. major issue. The TV did not work, showed an error. Asked it be fixed as one evening was a special program. No one replied. Sad. And we were required to do the laundry or charged a fee. Watch that when reserving

Great Place
The unit was very clean and tidy. There were 4 of us, college buddies from the past on our annual golf outing. We spent a great deal of time on the deck b.s.ing and watching the antelope and whitetail on the hills to the north and northeast. We came to golf Bully Pulpit (minutes to the south) and we ventured into Medora (minutes to the north). There are camping slots in close proximity to the cabin, but we hardly knew there were other people there. Everyone was either very quiet and respectful or gone doing tourist stuff. When informed of the empty propane tank on the grill Brad was there (easily within 30 minutes), with a new tank; talk about service! As far as the linens and towels go, if you want to get on the road early, you can inform housekeeping that you will be leaving before 9:00 a.m. and then you will not be responsible to get the laundry into the dryer.

Good and bad
The cabin(trailer) was very nice and clean.except the screen door was broken and the side door would not open(fire safety hazard)
The bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed.
It was the property that was the problem.
It was crammed full of campers.
There was a small patch of grass the children could play on.
No playground or pool.
I would never bring children again.
Dangerous for children

First it’s a trailer in an RV park. The RV’s park literally within feet of the trailer. Next received a text from the cleaning person that the trailer wouldn’t be ready on time. Next when we arrived it was 85degrees in the trailer. Next the cleaning person must have left the door open because there were dozens of flies inside. Finnally the TV has no source to receive a signal. I have direct tv at home and know how to make it work they clearly have stopped paying their bill. Oh yeah the laundry rules. Since you have to have your sheets and towels washed and dried before leaving that means an hour after your showers you can leave. DONT STAY HERE.

Lodging in RV park
This Lodging is part of a small RV Park; RVs surrounded us on three sides. It was clean and adequate but nothing special so rate seemed expensive. This is the first VRBO we’ve encountered with so few amenities and where we were expected to wash linens before leaving! Thankfully, arrangements were allowed for early checkout.

The property was ok, but the property manager was rude and not at all helpful when we were unable to get into the cabin because we had NOT received the lock code. We had to phone VRBO Customer Service for instructions on how to enter. One mouse, and only one hanger.

We had to CATCH A MOUSE as soon as we entered..then wipe down EVERYTHING as pretty sure it (or family) had been on surfaces we were to use. Went to town and bought "pet friendly" sticky traps and placed three in kitchen (left owner three for future use). Caught a mouse in trap an hour after placing. Mouse turds in back bedroom on sheets..we, however, brought our own sheets for pull out and bedroom. Water drainage in tub was horrible. We all showered Sunday morning and water was still draining 2 hours later. (Maybe a clean out is needed!!)Cleaned grill, cleaned front door (spic and span cause no windex, so not best job but clean.) Left windows with whatever was smeared on them. Washed towels but not the cleaning rags that were left for us in washer by cleaning service. Wiped out fridge..left bag of ice that was evidently left there from earlier. And if campers are to be parking next to building....a heavier curtain would be advisable for back bedrom!!!Our stay was great because we got to be together as a family for 3 days...and if we were guaranteed that all of the "GROSS" parts would be fixed and taken care of, we would try you again. That mouse meeting was not great and considering your terrain.. that should be one of the things to make sure wouldn't happen to your guest(s). Pets arent an excuse for not having "pet friendly" containment for mice.Thank youKyle and Deb ZimmermanMontana

The views are great, as is the location close to Medora & the park entrance. We really enjoyed the deck, especially for star gazing in the evenings. The size of the house was adequate for 2 adults & 3 teens. The grill came in very handy as the days were very hot, too hot to use the range. I don't like to use the a/c in places like that, but temps did hit 100 and it worked well. The cookware is adequate. The other VRBO properties we've stayed at have all had a few staples in the kitchen. This one didn't even have salt or pepper, so be prepared. When we arrived we were surprised to see RVs parked within feet of the house. We found some windows didn't have screens, one or two others would not stay up. So we could only open half the windows. Either we couldn't figure out how to use the satellite TV, or it wasn't working. I messaged the host on our second morning (one week stay), and I never heard back. I've not experienced a VRBO host so inattentive. The bathroom door would not stay closed. Most of us like a bit of privacy, so again I was disappointed. On arrival, we found that the sheets on one bed looked like someone had blown their nose on them. That was just gross. Looking at more recent reviews, it seems the host is just mailing it in. Compared to the other VRBO properties we've stayed at, this was a let down.

Worked great for our stay. The cabin was bigger then we expected. Campground was very quiet. Only complaint is we couldn’t figure out the tv, but we were not big tv watchers so was not a big deal

Clean and allows pets
Nice cabin with covered porch, short drive from Medora and the Park. Stayed here because it was the only pace available on short notice that allowed dogs. Requirement to do bedding and towel laundry at checkout is fine, except washer and dryer are very small and only 3 laundry pods were allowed. Very minimal supply of garbage bags also.

Good "home base" for exploring the area
Our cabin was emaculately clean and very comfortable for a family of 5. We enjoyed hiking in Teddy Roosevelt Park nearby. The town of Medora was cute and fun to spend a little time exploring. Cabin is in a busy RV park, so not a lot of private outdoor space, but still enjoyed our stay.

Family vacation
We enjoyed the peaceful setting of this cabin. The cabin is very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and beautiful porch! We spent many hours on the porch which has table and chairs. We would rent this cabin again!

Beautiful Hills and Mountains
The cabin is a nice mobile home that was nicely presented. The Campground does not have great organization as to location of the RV sites. They are very close to the cabins; We came back to the "cabin" and found the RV site within a foot or two of the back door; using our back steps as the RV sites do not allow room for outside activities of the RV. The RVs were parked in the roadways as well. Also, the owners required that one washes and drys the bedding and towels which can take 3-4 loads of laundry as the washer is a small apartment size and state that they will charge $50 if the bedding/towels are not washed. Unrealistic request with a small washer. Also, they have cheap plastic folding chairs for kitchen chairs. Very uncomfortable. Also, was given incorrect directions and code to access the mobile home. People were in the one we were directed to. A minor hiccup as they were probably busy starting up the season. So if you have time to do laundry and don't mind RVs blocking the access roads and being two feet from you, then this is a great option as the views are very beautiful.

Clean, nice cabin!
2 families of 5 each stayed at Boots using one cabin and a travel trailer right next to the cabin. The situation worked great. The property was clean, easy to find and had a beautiful view.

Hiking in the National Park
We wanted to be close to Teddy Roosevelt National Park so that we could hike and see the Buffalo. This was a great cabin for that!
