A very different type of property. Super scenic very quiet not luxurious at all but that was expected

Cozy cabin set just outside Medora, ND. The property was clean and comfortable. There is a rental spot right next to the cabin for a camper. I could see if you had loud neighbors that it could be loud, but our neighbors were quiet. We enjoyed the stay.

This place was spotless! It was so clean, spacious for our family of five and had a great view. It was convenient, only five minutes from town and the national park. We loved sitting outside and watching the sunset over the badlands. The inside was spacious and clean.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. There was a camper parked directly adjacent to the cabin in a hook-up spot that was rented separately - we were not aware those could be booked out while the cabin was occupied. The neighbors in the camper were quiet so wasn’t a huge issue, but would be good to know you should expect to have neighbors if you book a cabin. There was a snake living under the stairs of the cabin - I believe the hole was later blocked with a cinder block. Very nice to have laundry in the unit as well as the kitchen with full size appliances.

The Bison cabin was larger than I expected. It was clean, easy and had everything we needed. Being able to do laundry during our stay was a huge bonus! The area was beautiful and stars were magical. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband is an amputee and couldn't take a bath because there was no plug for the drain. The sink also did not have a plug. Otherwise, super nice, clean, quiet.

We were just at this location for a couple of nights. It’s proximity to Theodore Roosevelt National park and Medora made it a great choice for us. The area is quiet with a couple of bar/grills near by that serve very good food and a decent selection of craft brews. We would have preferred 2 bedrooms with queen beds vs 1 with a queen and the other with 2 twins since we we’re traveling with another couple but for a couple nights it worked out fine. Otherwise it’s a very comfy place and we would not hesitate recommending it.
There aren’t any grocery stores near by so we ended up dining out both nights, but the kitchen is very functional with a nice gas Weber gas grill if you bring your groceries with you to the area.

If needing 2 bedrooms this a great option! Just south of medora and easy to access!

The cabin was perfect for our stay in Medora. My brother stayed with us as we had family staying from all over. One of my cousins rented another cabin! The cabin was very comfortable and easy to get to. My only concern was that there were campers literally 5 feet to the side of the cabin and it first appeared that they were staying at the cabin and made check-in confusing.

The cabin we were assigned to had permanent RV tenants right next to the building. We could hear their dog barking and their door shutting as we laid in bed. Their one vehicle would get parked right alongside the living room area of the cabin as they came and went rather often. Our experience would have been much better if we had a different cabin. For the price, I'd expect some privacy and less check out chores.

The property was clean and had everything we needed to cook for our family that stayed in the cabin and those that were camping there too. We had a great time!

Needed something that was not exactly in Medora but minutes away from Roosevelt National Park. The location is perfect for what we needed

Quiet and comfortable cabin for a couple nights stay. Close to everything you want to do and see in Medora. We would book again. Quick response from Brad on any questions asked.

We stayed at the Bison. The view there was great. Weather was perfect. Had all the amenities we needed. The only down side, was a camper parked 6 ft from our cabin. Thank goodness, they were on the opposite side of the view, and they were very quiet.

There was a camper parked very close to the cabin we rented and the door opened right next to our bedroom window. Two dogs barked much of the time. The place the camper was parked ( looked like it was a permanent location) wasn’t even one of the approved camp sites. Other cabins were empty with no camper and dog neighbors but we were assigned that one that was very annoying.

House was as described and had everything we needed and was a great location for all the things we wanted to see. Thankful that the owner let us know to stop on our way in for groceries since it’s such a small town. Very much appreciated that advice.

Great Location
Great location right outside of Medora. Place was pretty clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that they wanted all the sheets and towels washed and dried before you checked out at 11:00 AM. We got up around 7:30 AM, washed and dried one load started the other load and then went out to breakfast. We checked out around 10:30 AM, but there was more time on the dryer past 11:00 AM. It said they would charge you if you didn't do the laundry. I have heard of starting the laundry before you leave, but never finishing it.

The view was gorgeous!
We enjoyed the stay at the vrbo! It was nice and clean and well maintained! The only thing is that it was confusing as to which one was our rental property. The view was gorgeous!!

Great location
This cabin was perfect for our two day stay in Medora. It was just a few minutes outside of town and Teddy Roosevelt National Park. An added bonus was that it is also very close to the state park where we could do some great hiking with our pup. The cabin was very clean, and we loved eating dinner on the outside deck.

Nice Place
This is not a 5 star rating because the air conditioning and heat were not functional for our stay. Everything else was good.

Buyer Be Aware
There is the Good, the Bad and fortunately no Ugly.
I'll start with the bad. You are charged a fee for cleaning plus the instructions on site are for you to wash all of the sheets and towels. This can be a problem if you plan to get up and leave. The washer takes about an hour to wash a load (time for washing a load not listed on information sheet but they provided enough pods for the required wash). The walls are thin, so noise within the unit can be a problem for light sleepers. The good aspects are that it was clean, well furnished, has good beds & sheets, close to town and away from main traffic. There are no grocery stores in Medora, so bring your food since the closest is 30 minutes away. .

Medora musical stay
Good experience. Location is close to Medora yet far enough you get to see the beautiful of the location.

Will not stay at Boots Campground again unless we could get a larger spot for our RV
The RV sites were so close together that we could not even put our awning you! Cabin very nice!!

Great location, very clean, fair price, a few things to work on, though.
Great location, very clean, fair price. Things to work on:
1) Check-in process. We never received the entrance PIN and the host's phone number wasn't listed anywhere. Had to contact the neighboring guests to get it.
2) The Wi-Fi was not reliable and kept disconnecting. A challenge when you need to do some work video calls or watch a game.
3) The "do most of the housekeeping, including bed sheet laundry, yet still pay pretty steep cleaning fees" rule I personally find odd (and I have visited 49 US states and 54 countries). I am perfectly fine with either of the two but not both.

Comfortable and well equipped
Very nice property. Location worked really well for our visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Full sized washer and dryer were a huge plus as we were at the halfway point in a 3 week trip. Saved a trip to the laundry mat and we did laundry while we cooked and ate.
