About this house rental
This beautifully RENOVATED Key West beach house is located in the exclusive and quiet neighborhood of Tilghman Beach and just across the street from the beach. 6 bedroom, 4 bath house is located directly across the street from the beach. This house has its own private pool, hot tub & outdoor enclosed shower. This property received all new siding, decking, fencing, flooring, paint, furniture, completely remodeled kitchen, appliance and TV's in the winter of 2017-2018. In the winter of 2018-2019, all 4 bathrooms were completely remodeled. The house sleeps a total of 18 people with a total of 2 kings, 4 queens, 2 twins & 2 sleeper sofas.
Those who want to swim can head outside to the private outdoor swimming pool or relax in the private outdoor Jacuzzi. Even the sports fans will be satisfied with the outdoor basketball hoop & volleyball net and fenced yard for playing corn-hole! This beach house has a well appointed-kitchen and charcoal BBQ grills to satisfy everyone's hunger after all of those activities.

The house was real nice and accompodated 13 people just fine and even had an extra pull out couch if we needed it. A suggestion would be to leave some basic stuff like paper towels, extra toilet paper, condiments like salt, pepper, etc. but I understand why they don't, so just go to the nearby WalMart and load up on them there. Also, if you are into playing board games, then bring them as there are 2 large tables idela for playing games anddoing puzzles. There is a basketball hoop and badmitten net and raquets to use as well. The shuffleboard court is cracked which makes it hard to slide the discs. Be careful not to park under the basketball net as some strong winds blew it down and would have smashed our rental. The layout was nice with 2 big decks in the front and nice lounge chairs around the pool. One thing that kind of sucked for us but not the owner's falut, was that the beach does not allow any canopies or tents and we had both. So we used the tent around the pool as there was only one umbrella there. Overall, it was a nice place and I would definitely stay there again for sure.

Right off the bat, the cabinet where the trash is in the kitchen hangs open all the time. You can tell the slide out for the trash has been broken a long time. Why it hasn’t been fixed is just laziness. I would be embarrassed to rent this residence for $1100 a night without fixing the things that need repaired. The stove is filthy. The fridge is all dented and scratched. The downstairs stinks. The downstairs king bedroom leaked on the bed. We called the after hours maintenance and he moved the bed so it didn’t drip on the bed. The return air vents were so dirty. The WiFi went down on Friday after the storm and never came back up. Under the beds were disgusting too. The cabinets in the kitchen were all bubbled where it looked like they had some kind of fire or heat damage. Again, another thing that could easily be repaired with a new cabinet door. The throw pillows on the couches and chairs need thrown away. The chairs upstairs were filthy. Again, carpet or furniture cleaner and a good scrubbing would fix it. The back door knob kept falling off. I feel completely ripped off. Doubt I will ever use VRBO again.

It was a great stay for our group. There were 13 adults and there was plenty of space for folks to lounge and sleep. The house was clean, the beds all had fresh linens, and there were clean towels in the bathrooms.
The volleyball court, basketball hoop, shuffle board, and pool kept everyone entertained. A beach entrance was across the street and it was a short 10-15 minute walk to bars/restaurants/grocery store. About a 5 minute drive to the main strip with grocery stores, mini golf, and restaurants. Although no one in our group played, it's also within minutes of a golf course. We easily parked 4 cars on the property.
We had to reach out to property management for 2 small issues and they had someone come out the same day (including Sunday) to fix the problems. Communication was great and super responsive.
Our only suggestion would be to have a few more items in the kitchen (platters, bowls) to serve dinner to a larger group.
Definitely recommend.

We were on a golf trip. House worked great for that and great location for getting to various courses. House could have been a bit cleaner. There was sand everywhere.Basketball hoop fell over in the wind multiple times. I would not park under there.

We booked this house for our annual high school softball trip to NMB. The house met our needs and expectations. It was "as described" in the listing. The house was clean and well furnished. Pool area was excellent. Only issues were hot tub jets did not work and oven did not seem to heat correctly. Overall, great experience and would definitely book again.

We came with a large party of 8 adults and 7 kids. We felt that there were plenty of space and places to sleep. We didn’t find the beds extremely comfortable, however we made due. The home was beautiful and well maintained. There were plenty of outdoor activities and the hotub was an added bonus!
We did have ALOT of issues with the remotes for the tvs. We found that some remotes worked for other TVs instead of for the tvs they were found near. It seemed like a lot of batteries were dead or low. While frustrating, we made it work. The only other issues was having to bring your own supplies like trash bags, dish washing liquid and toilet paper though we found out about this after booking, and we felt like it was just too much with everything we already paid for. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would likely book again!

The only minor inconvenience was the need to carry out our own trash bags, which was a bit unexpected. However, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience we had.

Overall our stay at this property was great. We enjoyed ourselves and we were able to find activities around close by to where we were staying. The beach was literally about a three minute walk away. It was beautiful It actually seemed a little more of a private beach so not crowded at all. Overall the house was great. The only thing I would say is it constantly smelled around the kitchen area like mildew? Not sure but it was a distinctive smell and as far as my bathroom where our soaps went, it could’ve been cleaned little bit better. There was residue of soap being put there, but overall it was a great trip and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was able to occupy all eight of us comfortably. P.s. if you are planning on staying at home to drink with friends, or you know just lounge around definitely remember they stop selling liquor at seven at all stores and on Sundays. No liquor store are open.

Overall we had a great stay. There were 17 of us including myself. There was a little confusion parking all the cars in the driveway. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The house was neat and clean. There was, however, a leak under the sink in the kitchen. We did not report it as we discovered it late during our stay. Also, guests who stayed on the 1st floor complained that it was hot. I would recommend putting in a bar in the tubs with showers or at least a rubber mat as the tub was quiet slippery exiting it and I felt like I was falling. Lastly, I am used to going directly to the house when arriving and opening the door with a code. We had to go instead to the rental office to secure a code and sign the contract.

Overall, we had a good stay. Very private even though on the main road. It had great beach access with 2 options across the street. The kitchen was well stocked.We were disappointed with the condition of the pool when we first arrived. It had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We also had trouble with the dryer and the upstairs AC unit towards the end of our stay. These issues were addressed in a timely manner. The office staff were attentive to each issue and were friendly and helpful.

Arrived on Saturday. House was not ready until 4:30 pm. Upon arrival, TVs in both family rooms were non-functional. Calls to the realty company went unanswered Sat-Sunday. Staff came Monday afternoon and repaired the problem. Rest of our stay was great. Realty company very reaponsive to a couple of minor needs. House is older and a bit difficult to navigate as far as bathroom availability for bedrooms. Would advise taking the virtual tour before renting to make sure it works for you.

Upon arrival Emmy group was excited for our generational family vacation. We quickly realized that the house had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival based off dirty wash towels in the bathroom, dirty dishes, cabinets as well as very dirty floors. We also found trash under the beds. The jacuzzi was disgusting with a green color and nasty dirt ring. We complained on day 2 to property management they sent someone out to clean the house and the people they sent was surprised at the state of the house. They did a deep clean and told us someone else handled the pool. Upon further inspection we found several pillow case were not clean and there was mold by a vent in one of the bedrooms. You could tell the house had severe water damage and need updates. On day 3 we spent the day out of the house. On day 4 I called to complain that the pool and jacuzzi had still not been cleaned. When the lady came to clean she took the sponge floating in the jacuzzi used it to wipe the dirt ring and also the pool and tossed it back in the jacuzzi. We asked about chemicals to sanitize and she that it did not need it. Needless to say we were not comfortable getting in let alone putting our small children in. We left the 5th never having been able to use the pool and jacuzzi which was a huge factor for picking this house. Luckily weather was decent and spent it on the beach. I was given my cleaning fee back along with a very small partial refund. Overall the house was nice and has potential to be amazing but needs repairs and furniture replacements and maybe a new cleaning service for home and pool.

As a group of 11 adults and 2 children this house was perfect for us. And the time of year of our stay the neighborhood was very calm and quiet. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Only called once about trash pick up and they got it taken care of within the hour. Will definitely stay with them again.

Overall great place and great location. Easy walk to the beach(right a cross the street). Short drive to grocery/liquor/shops/and food. Pool needed to be cleaned but was done next morning. House was a 9/10 clean which was pretty good. Only minor problem we ran into was we couldn't find the lights for the pool so night swimming was really dark. But would recommend 10/10 times this place and are already planning a trip back next year for our family trip.

House was very spacious and in a great location walking distance from the beach. The backyard and pool area was amazing and very nice. Although the basketball hoop was not up and working (and we also found that when playing volleyball, the ball sometimes goes over the fence and gets stuck in the bushes), this was an overall amazing property.

Overall a great house. NorthBeach Realty was very responsive to some minor issues that we had. Cleaning was not amazing, but not terrible. Location with the pool can not be beat. A one and a half minute walk down the street less than a block and you are at beach parking, on the beach about 2 mins later. The pool was lovely for lazy days at home. Plenty of bedrooms for the whole family.

Old House
This home is a old unit with bedrooms on bottom floor. With this there is a musty oder from water exposure. When we arrived there was a dehumidifier running in the kitchen area so the heat from that we had to deal with. Upon arrival the pool was green along with hot tub. The hot tub was corrected on Tuesday an the pool by Wednesday. We did get a small refund for the pool an hot tub not being usable. The bathrooms had all been updated an were very nice. The air conditioning unit struggled to keep up and one of the bottom bedrooms we had to get a fan to manage the temperature. Great location. Old style home, an good place for teenage kids an up. Not a good place for small kids. The online presentation provides a better overview than what the house really is.

Not great not terrible
The check in wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, 20 people in line ahead of me but it went quick. Arrival at the home found the pool and hot tub nasty. Called the property manager who had the pool company out there pretty quickly. The pool lady said we could not swim due to all the chemicals (Saturday evening) and someone would be back tomorrow. Nobody ever came on Sunday and it wasn’t until Monday afternoon after several calls that a maintenance worker came and said it’s now ok to swim and the pool company would come Tuesday. They were a no show due to the employee not coming to work it sounds so it was swept out and maintained Wednesday and Friday. The owner refunded but we felt very little for the pool troubles. 3 days of no pool or hot tub use due to these issues. We all were very disappointed. The pool, outdoor activities and walkable to the beach sold us. The shuffleboard has a crack through it making it unlevel, so pretty much unusable. The lawn care people showed up mid week and said they were not able to mow the week before do to a large party.
It would have been nice to have instructions like empty the dehumidifier on the second floor, after we found this trick the second floor was much cooler. A book with instructions overall would have been a helpful orientation to the house. The smoke detectors in the kitchen area were all removed and in a drawer, we reported this through the app. The road to cross to get to the beach and sidewalks is 4 lanes divided at 35mph, we crossed without too much trouble.
We only had 9 people which was comfortable. The one downstairs bedroom with the laundry stayed pretty warm, seemed to be a converted garage.
We took advantage of the free fishing activity that was included with the stay and found that to be hassle free.
