A large group of us were staying in the area for the Renaissance Faire so this particularly fit us all very well! The house was great and had space for us all, the game room was a big hit! We were a little bummed to find out the “hot tub” was in fact a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. But overall a very wonderful stay and we’ll be back Washington!

We rented this house to stay in while attending a family wedding. It was perfect for our family to gather for a great time together. It was particularly good to get together for meals, puzzle time, card playing, cousin time, - all while a wedding was unfolding. One regret - the weather wasn't good enough to be out on the deck. The house was great -plenty of space for everyone.

Location was a perfect spot to adventure around Seattle and multiple National Parks.

Our family attended a wedding on the Sammamish Plateau and this house was in the perfect location. Older home with well stocked remodeled kitchen. Plenty of room for all of us.
Communication was very easy with the property owner.

It was great!! Good little neighborhood, convenient location, large house, good management !!
This property was perfect for our stay. We were able to attend a wedding on the out skirts of Snoqualmie with only a short drive. We hiked the falls for a great out door experience. Local breweries were a hit with the family and the quaint little towns were perfect for exploring!!
The house it self was in a secure yet secluded neighborhood!! Houses all around but it was private once you were in! The kids loved the game room and the family loved the personal space and yet that we could all be together!! Lots of memories were made and card games were battled through!
Thank you for sharing your home with us❤️

Family Home Away from Home
Great space for family to be together for the weekend. Roomy house in very quiet neighborhood.
We were Seattle for a wedding in Issaquah. Starla was superb in communications throughout the booking process and specially during our stay. Starla was very accommodating to last minute changes in the guest count. And she was also able to be flexible on special requests
Great stay. We would do it again
Thanks,
Adel and Amie

Great Seattle Get Away
Great STAY !!!!!

Very Nice,But
While the house provided us with what we needed for our family stay I felt the house needs some work. We found multiple examples of spider webs, flies in the area where the BB court was, doors that stuck/needed paint and sleeping on 4" mattresses was not ideal.

Great Home for a Group
Lots of space and great for families. Starla was wonderful to work with, quick to respond and friendly. We had a larger group and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Kitchen was well supplied and the neighborhood felt safe.

Great Home for Families
We were in town for my oldest son’s wedding. My sister and her family shared the home with my family. With a combined four adults and five kids ranging in age from 20 months to 19yo, this home had something for everyone and plenty of space.
The Littles enjoyed the game room and the older kids enjoyed their privacy in the extra living room and we all appreciated the extra bathrooms. Ha! There are stairs so we wished we had brought a baby gate but we were able to work around it. One of the bedrooms had and crib and the kitchen had a high chair which was amazingly helpful. Packing all that can be difficult.
Kitchen was fantastically stocked and was a central meeting point throughout our stay with plenty of room for everyone. The bathrooms were all stocked with fluffy towels, nice soaps and hair appliances. We were able to find everything we needed.
Beautiful natural landscaping with the neighborhood seemingly right in the forest but less than ten minutes from a shopping center and views of the lake.
Starla was easy to work with and even allowed us an early check in. We would definitely stay again!

Sammamish House
The house was great! Would suggest more candles and matches for emergencies. Power went out through out Seattle while we were there, but we could only find 2 candles and no batteries for the flashlight. We made do and still had a great time.

Wow! More than expected!
We were the lucky ones to find this beautiful, roomy, well maintained property when we visited for our daughter's wedding at Carnation Tree Farm nearby. It is even more lovely in person than the photographs show. It is quiet, well furnished and gives lots of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen is a dream with 2 different seating areas and cupboards stocked with all sorts of odds and ends that people have left behind. Very helpful to travelers from out of town! The only thing that we lacked was tin foil, baggies etc. as we did do some cooking in. We bought those things and left them behind for the next visitors.
I highly recommend this property for a care free get away. Starla was easy to communicate with and made our stay all that we hoped it would be.
Thank you!

Quiet Neighborhood and Plenty of Space for Family!
Our extended family of 6 adults stayed here while attending a wedding in Seattle. We've often had trouble finding a place thru VRBO, HomeAway, or Air B&B to accommodate our size group because only 2 of the adults are a "couple." Everyone else is a "single." Often times when a listing says "sleeps 6" or "sleeps 8" they assume two persons to a bed. This doesn't work for everyone, and this place had more than enough beds and space to accommodate us. We LOVED the place! Beds were very comfy. Plenty of towels and extra pillows for everyone. Kitchen was AMAZING! Fully stocked with everything you could ask for. Safeway grocery store just a short drive down the hill. Had dinner one night at the nearby Pine Lake Ale House - great little sports bar with something on the menu for everyone - and the beer was pretty good too! Starla answered any and all questions promptly and was extremely accommodating. She has a real gem here, and if we are out this way again, we would definitely stay here again!

Great location..big house
Our family stayed at Starla's house for the long weekend to go to the Woodland Zoo and Safeco Field. It was 30 min normal driving to each location so pretty central. Traffic is a problem so look at times that are best. The house was large plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our large family. Kitchen is well stocked and large. Lots of seating. Would stay again. Starla was very good at responding to the questions I had.

Lots of room
Large house, obviously some upgrades - the kitchen was beautiful. Needed a deep cleaning. Spent a lot of time playing games at the dining room table - great space for gathering.

Great house for large families!
Starla's house was amazing - we had family in from the East coast to celebrate a HS graduation and Starla's house was a perfect place for all our family to spend time together. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great neighborhood. Starla was very responsive and great to work with. Highly recommend this home.

AP Confernce attendees
4 teachers stayed here while attending the AP conference in Bellevue. Each of us got our own bathrooms and it worked out great.
It could easily work for 2 families as there are lots of space and each floor had a master bedroom with an ensuite. We’d stay here again.

Fantastic House
The house is lovely, we especially enjoyed: the playroom, the big jacuzzi tub, and the gas grill which we used every night of our stay

Nice place to spend time with a big family!
This house was lovely! It really does have 5 bedrooms. The kitchen is great and well stocked - though admittedly we only did one dinner in 6 days. And there are lots of spices that former guests have left, so that was an added bonus. It's in a lovely neighborhood with lots of trees front yard and back - very quiet. And yet the house was bug free, which was more relaxing for me. The living room was a nice hang out place - very inviting! The decks got used by us quite a lot, too. The owners are generous with paper towels and TP so no rushing to the stores for emergency supplies. Also plenty of towels and kitchen sink supplies. It has 5 bedrooms as per the write-up. It did seemed revised in the sleeping/bed arrangements a bit from the original listing, though. Four of the bedrooms had queen beds and one had two twins, so we had to monkey around with the sleeping situation as we had planned to put 2 large men in the bedroom that would have had 2 full beds. Obviously they weren't going to fit in one queen bed, but we made it work. There are 2 futons (full size) in non-private spaces and a bunch of air mattresses (plenty of extra sheets - though it would take some time to figure out what size fit what). The 4 bathrooms worked for our group of 11. Two of those baths were connected to the 2 larger bedrooms. The owners were very responsive via VRBO communication, text, and email, so that was comforting, too. (We had changes in arrival dates, etc.) Definitely an enjoyable experience for us!

Pros: Lots of space and 4 bathrooms so very little sharing! Nice game room with ping-pong and fooseball. The house was well supplied with everything you could possibly need or use. Quiet area with no traffic and lots of trees.
Cons: Floors are a bit squeaky so the lower floors here all movement upstairs. Some kitchen items needed a good cleaning.
We would definitely stay here again if coming to the area.

We found Starla’s house on line. My plans were not definite so we had a “little” back and forth regarding dates. Starla was MOST accommodating and helpful. It was late when we arrived at her house so it was dark outside. We could tell we were in a very nice neighborhood and thankfully pulled into a large garage as it was drizzling outside. BUT, when the six of us woke up in the morning and saw where we were, we couldn’t stop ooing and aahing. Every window from every room and every deck has a view of spectacularly beautiful trees, vines, flowers and grass. We have a nice house in Scottsdale so we sincerely appreciated the effort Starla put into their remodel. Every room is perfect, including the bathrooms and kitchen. The jetted tub in the master is outstanding. When our short stay was over we all wished there had been time to stay another week minimum. A super bonus is the game room. We didn’t know how competitive we all are playing ping pong, foos ball and basketball. My wish would be to have another reason for our AZ family to visit our WA family and rent this very same house.

We rented this house to get together with a group of friends. The house is pretty large, easily can accommodate 12 people. The house is in great condition and is in a very quiet area. However, if you plan on having a bbq, you have to bring one with you, or buy from the nearby Safeway (about 2 miles away). Also, there was no wine opener, the utensils were not enough so we had to buy some from the grocery store. Same goes for other little things like baking pots, salad bowls, trash bags. There is no TV on the main floor, only on the second floor. Overall, we had good time there, but certainly this place is lacking some basic amenities.

Great place with nice outside spaces in the trees. Game room was a fun bonus.

This home was perfect for our weekend get-away to Seattle. With so many bedrooms it was easy to accommodate multiple families. The little ones LOVED the bonus room with the basketball court and ping-pong table and also exploring the backyard. I was even able to enjoy a relaxing bath in the jetted bathtub that seemed more like a mini hot tub. The house was beautiful and located in a nice quiet neighborhood close to an elementary school & community park with some amazing play structures. The owner was also very helpful and easy to work with. When we did have questions about the house she responded promptly to help us aid in our stay. I would highly recommend this home and if we ever have the need to stay in Seattle again i will keep this home in mind.

We have a large family, there are seven of us. This home was a perfect getaway for us. Plenty of room for everyone. With two master bedrooms it worked great - one for my wife and I, one for our 14 year old son. The playroom worked perfect for our five kids to play ping pong and foosball. My wife enjoyed the full sized jetted tub (as did our younger kids). The house was terrific, clean, in a quiet neighborhood far enough away from the city, but close enough to still enjoy it.
We spent four nights here and would definitely return. It was great to get away and still feel comfortable.
