SANIBEL IS ALIVE AND WELL, we are totally recovered from the recent hurricanes,
The property has been totally rebuilt due to the damage from Hurricane Ian. EVERYTHIG IS NEW! The pool and grills are new, tennis courts are open. This is a ground floor 1,235 square foot condo that is beautifully decorated. You can walk right out from your screen enclosed lanai to the gardens of the center courtyard and then down to the pool and beach. It features an extra large Screened Lanai, two Bedrooms, two Baths, Great Room, Dining Area and a fully equipped kitchen.
Portions of the complex are still being restored from Hurricane Ian. The vast majority of the work is done.
Everything is new including furniture, 3 new TV’s, new flooring, new bathrooms, new impact windows and doors, new kitchen appliances, washer and dryer. The master bedroom is luxurious with a King sized bed and the guest bedroom has twin beds, with new bedding and a beach theme. Electronics include a 55” flat screen TV, a TV in each of the bedrooms, WIFI internet.
This condo has a well stocked kitchen with every small appliance you might need. It also includes beach chairs, sand toys, and a cart to carry everything in.
A heated swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffle board and BBQ grills are just a few of the amenities at Loggerhead Cay. Smoking is not permitted within the condo.
Loggerhead Cay is very well maintained, landscaping improvements are underway. It is located on the easily accessible east end of the island, minutes from the Causeway. Once on the island you can access Loggerhead, and its beach, while avoiding the traffic on Periwinkle.

The condo has a great layout. Everything was clean and new. This condo has a nice location. Just about everything a renter might need is provided. The condo owner was alway accessible and stayed in contact with us. It is a drsma free rental.

We have rented from Steve and Wanda many times and have always found their unit in immaculate condition. Besides being a first floor unit which is great to transport luggage, it is a short walk to the pool or beach. For us, it is the perfect vacation to travel to Sanibel, enjoy the many fine restaurants and just relax and enjoy the beauty of the island.

This was our third time staying at Steve and Wanda’s place and we can’t ever say enough about it. It’s the perfect location in a very nice area. Our family loves coming here for our vacations and we always have the best time. The new condo updates are gorgeous!

Just what we expected, great! Our condo was beautiful. It had everything we needed. Steve was a perfect host.Even with all the rain we still enjoyed our trip. We loved The Magic Bus. Great latte’s, ice cream & smoothies! We went several times! Jerry’s grocery always everything we need. And Doc Ford’s was delicious!
We rented bikes and were able to get several rides in before & after the rain.
We can’t wait to return to see more progress on our fave island.

Accommodations were new, clean, as advertised, and perfect for the two us. Location was right on the gulf and easy to get to. Plenty of things to do in Sanibel and Ft Meyers. The island is still recovering from the 2022 hurricane but many/most of the businesses are open and eagerly accepting vacationers. Very friendly. We recommend this unit and would gladly return if circumstances permit. Thank you Steve and Wanda.

We just returned from our trip to Sanibel and we loved everything about it! The condo has a great location, it is completely remodeled, very clean and beautifully decorated.
The ground level allows to leave the condo through patio with all the beach stuff. We appreciate that the owners provide beach umbrella, wagon and other beach accessories and kids toys.
Steve was very nice when we communicated the details, he was very friendly and offered tips about the island and responded in a timely manner.
Kitchen and the whole condo was equipped with everything we needed. The grounds looked very well maintained and clean, pool and bathrooms were conveniently located near the beach, beach access was just a short walk and the beach itself was beautiful and clean. There were so many beautiful shells to pick. We are definitely planning to come back.

The condo was well equipped (aside from the refrigerator issues- new one installed last day but had 2 small fridges to use. Most negative issue was the ice availability and having to use coolers for beverages with only 2 people it was ok. The owner communicated well regarding the fridge and initial check that everything else was satisfactory ), clean and beds are very comfy. Lots of beach supplies (the cart was awesome for the beach/pool). Would definitely recommend.

Property was exactly as described; new, comfortable furniture, clean, organized, supplied with little extras, excellent internet/tv package. Lovely linens, bathroom and beach towels. Location central and easy to get around. Everything you could possibly want for the beach was provided. Owner was super responsive, addressed any question asap, cooperative, and reliable. It was a true pleasure staying in Steve’s condo!

Just returned from a week at Steve's place on Sanibel Island. The unit has everything you could want or need in a condo--comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, everything you need for the beach and enough room to spread out if you bring kids. It is well located on the island, close to shops and right on the beach.
I've been going to Sanibel for 20 years, and I must say that Steve is the most friendly and considerate host I've encountered. Hoping to stay the next time I go south.

Cannot say enough good things about this rental! Awesome island location- easy on/off island by car, right on shared use path for easy biking/walking, and phenomenal beach access! Completely remodeled and clean! New furnishings, very comfortable bed, chairs, etc. Everything you could possibly need for beach or everyday use! We were impressed with the beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, beach towels, and pool noodles- had everything we needed! Kitchen was WELL stocked. Easy parking. Condo complex has wonderful pool, shuffleboard, grills, and working on tennis/pickleball courts. Steve and Wanda were fantastic hosts- made renting easy! This is the best condo complex on Sanibel and this unit is top notch! We will return! Thank you!

Sanibel has been my happy place for many years and it was wonderful being back. This unit at Loggerhead Cay couldn't be more perfect-short walk to beach& pool and close to all the shops, bike trails, animal refuge, restaurants that are now reopened post Hurricane Ian. The owners were so attentive and helpful, including bringing us an umbrella to go to the Farmers Market on a rainy day and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Just wish that my stay was longer than the two great weeks we enjoyed.

We had a great 3.5 days before Hurricane Ian hit. We had to leave the island but the owner was so great to contact us before our trip and during to update us on the hurricane. He even refunded us for the days we weren’t able to stay. The aftermath is so heartbreaking but hopefully people can rebuild. We love this place!

Clean and fully equiped with pots , pans, cooking utensils , beach equipment etc.. I liked that cleaning supplies were available so that we could clean up after ourselves. A little concerned staying on the first floor of this condo but absolutely no problems.. Ued the grilling area conveniently located as well as the pool. I have friends who visit Sanibel -Captiva and recommended your unit.. Would most definately stay in your unit again.. We also left paper supplies behind to help out with the next group coming in.

Nice, clean spacious and very well equipped flat. It’s lovely that the owner provides for beach towels especially as we came by plane. The owner is very helpful, sympathetic and gives you a lot of information about Sanibel. The pool is big and beach access to the long beautiful beach is definitely a bonus. We’ll recommend the flat to Swiss friends for sure. We had a great time.

First Trip to Sanibel
This was my family’s first trip to Sanibel and we loved the island, especially this condo! It was an awesome first floor condo which was perfect when we came in from the beach, we were able to leave all of our beach gear right on the porch.
The condo was was extremely spacious, clean, and was by far the best stocked condo we have ever stayed sun. From the kitchen, the bathrooms, and ALL OF THE BEACH GEAR!!!! They had chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, toys, and an amazing beach cart.
We are already looking at returning next year and if it’s available, we will be definitely staying at this condo again!

Vacation Paradise
Our 3 week stay in Steve and Wanda’s condo was everything we hoped it would be. The location on the island was perfect. We brought our bikes with us and hardly used the car. We loved every restaurant we visited, including the ice cream shops. The beach is only steps away and it was perfect shelling. The condo couldn’t have been any cleaner, and everything we needed was included in the condo. The beds and the furniture are all very comfortable. The morning sun and the afternoon shade in the condo made it light and comfortable. We contacted Steve a couple of times for minor things, and he responded within minutes.
Check in was super easy. You can not see the ocean from the condo, but the gardens you can see are beautiful. The pool was clean, warm, and always open. We would recommend you book this condo for a perfect stay on Sanibel Island.
