Beautiful place and amenities. Loved to room setup. Staff were all superb.

Sanibel Island as a whole has a biting flea population. The hotel sent me an email to warn me. It wasn’t awful but some travelers may find it distasteful.

It was a terrific Thanksgiving experience. All the staff wonderful. Totally enjoyed BRGR. Exemplary food! Thank you chef and team. Awesome service. Shout out to new employee Carley!

Very nice hotel, bathroom toilet area a bit dated and missing grout around tub tile on both sides plus shower curtain had large black smudge inside. Told front desk staff, not addressed while there. Great location, nice staff and pool area.

Wonderful place. Even the casual restaurant was super nice. What i was not happy is that they charged a $25 fee on top of my bill.

Room and staff were great!!!

It was well, but there are a lot of signs from the storms yet, I think the price should be adjusted to the conditions. The pool service stooped at 6:25, and cairs at the beach were picked up at 5:00, still with the sunday.

We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good.

Our safe did not work; we chose not to complain as we could clearly see you were cleaning up after two storms.
Melton at the pool bar is a huge asset to your facility.

Wonderful place close to the Beach! Nicke pool.

Good beach access. Best thing about the island is their respect for the night, and minimal light pollution. Kudos to the community.

The entire staff were so friendly, attentive and professional while dealing with reconstruction projects. The BRGR eats were delish in the restaurant and at the pool side bar, YUM. Relaxing vibes, great location and proximity to the beach, can't wait to come back

Your hotel was closed due to hurricane. We drove two hours down from Sarasota because no one let us know that you were closed. Bad communication

They bill themselves as a resort When in all actuality it’s a very old hotel trying to be a resort. All they have to offer is a pool and restaurant. The rooms leave a lot to be desired. The beds were comfortable and sheets appeared clean. That’s about all.

My only issue is they only gave 1 bottle of water at your arrival no more during the rest of your days

Property is clean and rooms are almost brand new. Staff at front desk and at restaurants were warm and friendly. Food at the restaurant was terrific. My only negative is we asked for a late checkout and the policy of the hotel is to charge $50/hr beyond noon time. While I can appreciate this policy during high season as rooms need to turn over, management has a choice during low season on a policy like this: you can either make money or make loyalty. In your case, you decided to make money on it. I would have suggested that because it's low season--you could have earned my loyalty by allowing me a late checkout without a cost--as nobody is checking in after us on a Monday. So in the future, I may consider this hotel--but I'll also consider other options. My advice is if gaining loyalty costs you nothing do it--it's worth a lot more than the dollars you made on my late checkout.

I have been coming to Sanibel Beach resort for over 20 years. It was originally a holiday Inn and for 20 years I have been coming at least three times a year whether I live in Miami or I live up in Pensacola, I always manage to come. I was just there in July and now I came for this weekend, the renovations are gorgeous. The staff is constantly cleaning walking around. I know that there was a hurricane Ian, but the resort is doing well. It was peaceful. It was quiet. It’s my favorite beach. I’ve been to Miami Beach Fort Lauderdale Beach Waco Island, the Keys Navarre Beach Pensacola Beach and Sanibel is where it’s at , and this resort is the only place to enjoy serenity

One of the best location in Sanibel. The beach is incredible. The rooms and buildings are renewed. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The front desk employees, the employees at the restaurant and pool bar are so polite, nice and very helpful. Everything was great. It is a great hotel for kids. Very easy access to the beach and the pool area.

Remembered what we ordered from day to day
They could use some umbrellas on their beach chairs

Wonderful hotel resort, wonderful memories made! Particularly loved that you had the corn hole bags game on the walk to the beach!!! Cant wait to come back!!

Liked how close it was to the beach. Short walk. Loved that they put out the chairs on the beach every morning! Every staff member that we encountered were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the property is in good condition but maintenance is still required in some areas. Our room was clean and comfortable, but the carpet was ripped where it joins the bathroom floor. What we liked was the location; on the beach and not far from various restaurants. The BrGr restaurant is also convenient for a quick bite.

The property has access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

Way too many bugs 😩

The brochure and actual room is different. The room had a rank wet smell when we entered it. Lysol spray helped it. A lizard was on wall I’m terrified of lizards. The second floor had no elevator with my bad knees and heavy luggage. I wish there were balconies. They couldn’t find me initially on the register. Overall it was an ok experience.

There is a light in the bathroom that never goes off. Door is opaque, so no darkness. Could not sleep because of this. When I tried to call front desk, phone in room is completely dead. Got an additional charge on my credit card. Hope it is not for my service dog!! Got an email from hotel asking about my need for a service dog that I felt crossed a line. Responded with a copy of his 8 year old NSAR card.

Heat place. I’m sure the staff is more attentive when it’s not the off season.

This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend for any stay on Sanibel.

The resort is lovely with a great restaurant and cafe. The beach loungers were perfect. Umbrellas would be the perfect addition. I wasn’t aware of the daily resort fee which was a shocker at the end of my trip.

Recently remodeled, clean, chic and onsite food options. Close walk to the beach. Friendly staff. Only issue is it’s easy to track sand into your unit but no dustpan or vacuum to pick it up. Great place to stay.

Room was very nice, bathroom very roomy, room for all your supplies with an uncluttered sink and counter top, beautiful view of pool, short walk to beach. Bottle of water daily would be a plus for me. Convenient location to main road. Would return!

Checking in and out was very easy.
I picked the wrong dates to visit, because of the rainy season as well as the ‘no see ums’ we got bit a lot.

This hotel was perfect. We parked right outside our door, which made it so easy to unload/load. The pool was easily accessible and the beach a short walk. The outdoor shower was nice, but the noseeums are super bad near the water. The hotel offers all kinds of bug spray, bracelets, and sunscreen. Use it! I loved the shell bag and got great use of it! You can even see the ocean from the pool. They even gave us extra bars of soap for the shower instead of gel. I liked both. The room was nice and cool. The safe came in handy, and we loved the room key bracelets that were waterproof. The setee bench was awesome for luggage. The shower was nice and roomy! We also got plenty of towels waiting for us. The fridge, microwave, and Keurig were all used. Looking forward to going back!

The location of the property was great, close to the beach and close to the restaurants that have opened back up. Rooms were very nice and not expensive, most places on Sanibel are very expensive and were really dated but not this property. I will definitely stay here again.

I traveled for the first time by myself. I felt safe and Sandy from taxi company and Stacy from golf cart rental were the best. I had the a great vacation. Seashells were to die for. Can't wait to come back.
