Renovated, Seaside Villa. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, small cooks kitchen & bar area, relaxing living room with queen sleeper sofa with upgraded gel mattress. Hardwood floors. Full kitchen with dishwasher equipped for your every cooking need. Granite, Stainless Steel appliances, Cherry cabinets. Pocket door in hall to close off bedroom. Washers/Dryers on each floor of the complex. Charcoal grills and picnic tables available for your outdoor cooking.

Seaside Villas is an oceanfront complex, located on the South end of Hilton Head Island in the South Forest Beach area. Villa is walking distance to Coligny Plaza, which includes everything from live entertainment, restaurants, local bars, shops, grocery stores & a movie theater. The back gate to Sea Pines is less than a mile in the other direction, giving you easy access to South Beach and Harbour Town.

Hurricane Season runs from the beginning of June to the end of November. We highly recommend purchasing the VRBO travel insurance which covers mandatory evacuations (for example) in additional to other unforeseen circumstances. Call VRBO for more details and pricing.

When walking in, there was a portable a/c unit with a tube running to the window. When running, the unit was loud. Needless to say we didn't sleep well at all due to the uncomfortable mattress and loud portable a/c

This was our first stay on HHI and I was very pleased with our choice of lodging! Although it doesn’t have the greatest view of the beach, you can see it and it’s only a short walk! Also within walking distance of Coligny’s restaurants and shops! It’s not fancy or boujee but that’s fine with us! With our budget, I was pleased and would stay again!

Contacted the owner, Gina Mariotti, several times in the days right before we were scheduled to leave for our Aug.5 to Aug 12 stay in Hilton Head. All weather reports as well as the Town of Hilton Head Facebook page indicated that the area should be avoided due to extended torrential rain, flash flooding, storm surge, etc. Ms. Mariotti was asked point blank to refund our money. She did not refuse, she simply asked if we had purchased 3rd party travel insurance, which we had not, and ignored additional requests for a refund. When she finally did respond, it was to tell us that there hadn't been any flooding, that it was a sunny day, and if we were still coming to use the last couple of days of our rental time. We ask that our money be refunded, in full, due to the hazardous conditions that existed, as we would have been at risk traveling into the area for the majority of our booked days. Local officials and emergency services were posting to stay away from the area, stay off roads, and take all precautions, as the predictions were for "historic" amounts of rain. Please contact me at your earliest convenience regarding this matter. As far as the above ratings for various aspects of the rental, I cannot give an accurate rating, as we never arrived, but the page will not let me submit without doing so, hence the 1-star ratings. The unit is not a luxury home away from home, 55 plus crowd may want an upgrade. Close to beach though. My stay was not the best due to the hardness of bed. The amount of bug spray used to combat seasonal bugs caused major allergies and migraines. The window screen to the patio is damaged, making it difficult to enjoy the outside area or get fresh air into the unit.

Really enjoyed the location. Very close to the beach and necessary shops. However, it was hard to get in touch with the host at the beginning and end of the vacation. We left some items unfortunately and when trying to reach her the number is no longer in service and when I reach out here I’ve gotten no response at all. Kinda let down but the stay was fine communication isn’t.

We had a great week of beautiful weather and a wonderful place to stay. It is was a short walk to the beach to enjoy sunrise or sunset or to Coligny Beach for dinner. There was also ample storage for our bikes and laundry facilities on each floor.

Great location and the condo had evertwe needed for our stay. The one niggle about the condos on this property would be the noise from floor above not on top floor. We had children above us and cloud hear them running and banging. This wouldn’t deter me from another stay but for those sensitive to this just fyi.

Location is great. Enjoyed the view of the ocean and the palm trees from the balcony. And the short walk to the beautiful beach. Bike paths are everywhere on the island. We had a nice stay.

Cool little apartment with ocean view, very clean and everything was in working order. Just a couple minutes from the room to have toes in the ocean or a very short bike ride to Coligny Beach Park/Plaza for dinner. Great communication with the host, thanks for a wonderful stay!

The resort is decent. The room was clean. Close to the beach and has an ok ocean view. The bed was really hard and squeaks when you move. The AC in the living room was good. But the portable AC unit in the bedroom isn’t very effective in July. Use of the desk and ceiling fan was a must.

Perfect spot for our short stay over the extended holiday weekend. Can't beat the location and the short 5 minute walk to the beach. Owner was fabulous and, while approving a partial week stay in the middle of the summer, also had the unit ready for our early check-in and immediately replaced the coffee maker when the existing unit finally reached the end of its useful life. Fabulous shower!!! Unit is a bit dated and the AC units are a bit noisy but it was perfect for a two person stay who intended to spend their waking moments at the beach and at the restaurants near Coligny and on the island. All in all, a wonderful stay and we can't wait to re-up for next year!!!

The condo was just perfect for us - it had everything we needed - plus we loved sitting on the balcony with the partial view of the ocean and we regularly ate our meals and just relaxed there! The walk to the ocean was only a few minutes and everyone was very nice. We rented some beach chairs and an umbrella and each day at the beach was very relaxing!

Having rented VRBO condos in Hilton Head before, we expected more for the $350/night we spent. Would suggest the owners take some of that income to make a few improvements- particularly furnishings, which seemed dated. Good: Clean SO close to the beach Distant, but still a view of the water from balcony Responsive owners Not so good: Ginormous, LOUD air conditioner unit on floor next to bed (not shown in photos of condo on VRBO) Furniture outdated Couch uncomfortable Pullout bed on couch worse Mattress on bed hard We would choose a different condo if we come back to HH.

Gina was the BEST host. This was my first time using VRBO and it was not a disappointment. The room was just as described, clean, plenty of drawer and closet space for my significant other and myself, and a view of the ocean from the balcony. Coffee and all the necessities were provided as well. I even left a bag of personal items and Gina was very professional and took the time to reach out and even mail the items back to me, when most people would just throw your stuff away. The location is great, and the beach is a very short walk from the room. I 10/10 recommend Gina’s spot and will definitely return!

Very clean & comfy. The unit is perfect for one or two people who spend little time indoors. Short walk to beautiful, sandy beach. Easy walk to Coligny Plaza. Our host, Gina, was very friendly and quick to respond to text messages.

The property was perfect for my wife and me. Very convenient location to Coligny, restaurants, etc. Yet just far enough away to get plenty of room on the beach. I'd certainly stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Villa is located close to lots of shops and restaurants. It’s small, but fine for 2 people. It was clean and well stocked. Even had a fan in the bedroom. Great for someone like me who needs white noise. The TVs need better directions on how to operate but finally figured it out. The only complaint we had was the noise when someone stayed above you. There were 5 people above us, including 3 children, and you could hear everything. Walking, running, dropping things on the floor, doors opening and closing at all hours of the day and night so if you like your sleep, either take ear plugs or hope no one stays above you while there. Owner of our villa, of course, can’t do anything about the noise, but all in all it was a great get away for Thanksgiving to relax and enjoy the beach and good food.

Property was very clean, which was a big plus. The biggest issue was the air conditioner, the main unit did not really work, and the portable unit in the bedroom was LOUD. Unit needs some TLC, and some other places to sit, the couch is uncomfortable. But I want to state very clean!

The location was the perfect access to the beach and close to the happenings like Coligny Park. The hostess, Gina, was absolutely knowledgeable with access to questions via text message with an automatic response. The condo was nice and quaint for two as well. Please go see for yourself! My husband and I visited HHI on 5/3 to 5/8 and wished we could have stayed longer. The location of this condo is perfect. Walking distance to beach, shopping and great restaurants. Condo is perfect size for two people. We are already hoping to plan our next trip back soon.

Gina was very kind and accommodating, prior our arrival. When we arrived, she was kind enough to meet us at the gate!!! The unit was very clean and updated. The appliances and bathroom renovations are impressive. Parking was convenient and the beach is only steps away. There are nearby restaurants and grocery stores to choose from. We will definitely return to this unit!!! Thanks Gina!!!!
