Stayed a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Will definitely not be going back. No issues with Vacasa, just the home and neighborhood.
The pictures of the home are staged and framed amazingly. Props to the photographer.
This is no fault of the host or vacasa but the house had absolutely no privacy and the neighbors are terrible. Between the construction 20feet away and the middle of the night dirt bike racing up and down the street, this is not a spot for rest and relaxation.
Best part of this house was

Great location for Mt Hood and surrounding recreation. Nice back patio and hot tub. Property manager was wonderful to work with.

Enjoy this deep in the forest house!

Although there were a few bumps like the hot tub being foggy and the dryer not working. It was a very quiet and peaceful place. All other amenities worked great and we had a wonderful stay!

Perfect. Stay was as listed. Fully equipped with everything you need.

This older cabin was decently priced and convenient to access. It hasn't been updated though. The rooms are dark and there is no lighting in the living room, so I couldn't read my book by the fire. The overhead light in there is not functional and there are no lamps. The hot tub was welcome after long hikes but only half of the jets are working. I contacted the service department and they were going to look into it but it's possible the tub only has one pump (luckily I was by myself). The stovetop overhead exhaust fan was labeled as not working. It would have been nice to open windows, but few could be opened and those had broken screens or window sills filled with cobwebs and bugs so it was not desirable. Porch and eaves also covered with cobwebs. I probably won't stay here again.

The living area and fireplace were beautiful. Warm and cozy

We loved the deer and scenery though the cabin itself was pretty outdated and did not look like the pictures. It has a terrible slant to it as if the foundation isn’t solid. Also looks like the owner refinished it himself instead of getting the remodel professionally done. Beware if you are visiting when it’s warm. The only fan is in the living room. It was so hot in the bedrooms even with the windows open, we had to sleep on the floor in the living room. It is not secluded at all and the neighbors dogs hung out in the yard quite a bit. The hot tub was relaxing but my daughter said the water hadn’t been changed in 257 days per the hot tub settings. Not to mention every house in the surrounding area can watch you while you get in and out of the hot tub. It’s not always about where you stay but the memories you make.

This is cute little cabin in the pretty Oregon backdrop. It is accurate in it's description. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed every bit. We did run into a few issues easily overcome, the back room breaker tripped due to the loading from heaters and lights being on at night. The electric fireplace did not want to work with us so we used the wood stove instead. There was plenty of wood, just needed kindling to get it started. It was close to lot's of amenities and snow capped slopes not far away. We would definitely go back!

We had a great stay at this cabin! It had everything we needed and more. The heat worked great, the hot tub was perfect and the kitchen had all needed. We would totally come back and stay again! Contrary to other reviews, we felt it was very private. Thanks for letting us enjoy this place!

The cabin was clean and comfy. Although the neighbors are pretty close it still seemed secluded. Hot tub was perfect.
The kitchen has very little seasonings, so bring what you want.

Perfect little cabin in the woods, close to hikes and beautiful scenery

Pros-
It had a cute, clean, rustic interior. The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was clean and hot. Furniture was comfortable, It is close to a grocery store, coffee and food.
Cons-
Not very private but good enough for us. The hot tub could use some privacy curtains or something. The front door lock was annoyingly tricky, and the windows were a bit drafty but expected for a cabin in the woods. Overall we would come back and recommend it to others.

Loved staying here. Was so cute and cozy and clean. Enjoyed cooking in rustic kitchen and soaking in the hottub under the stars.

Older property, dated interior, floors not level, no central heat or AC (space heaters).. neighbor has lots of junk outside...but the house is quant and comfortable.

2 stars because it was clean minus a couple spiders.
However, the lack of privacy was very unfortunate and impacted the stay. The kitchen windows have no curtains or blinds or anything at all and from the kitchen, at least 2 cabins plus a road can see in. There was an instance where someone was walking on the road and kept their head turned in our direction and literally stared at us in the kitchen the entire time they walked by. It was very creepy.
The front door has a curtain, HOWEVER, it doesn't even cover the window! 1/3 of the window is showing and you can see out right into another cabin which means they can see into the main space. Again unnerving.
THIRD. The Jacuzzi. Yes it's a nice jacuzzi, HOWEVER, there is absolutely NO privacy. 3-4 very close by houses can see the jacuzzi AND ITS LITERALLY RIGHT AT THE ROAD WITH NO PRIVACY. Not even a privacy wall, nothing. Anyone at the road would be able to see you very clearly. The morning of the day of checkout, was woken up by some guy chopping wood outside the bedroom at what I believew as probably about the property line. Just a very weird experience. Went there to get away from the city and found it to have less privacy than in the city. Will not be back.

Very quaint, pretty roomy cabin! We sat on the back deck or bench looking at the woods the whole time. TV was Roku, so could log in to all your apps (oops! I forgot to logout! Ha!). Lots of towels, blankets, kitchen equipped, and even found a long dog lead buried in the ferns that we hooked up to the deck banister so it pup could explore and sleep in the moving sun patches. Neighbor's old lab came to say hello to our little guy. He was in heaven

Property was fine what we needed. It's out dated, the bedrooms were very warm at night and the neighbors are very close and noisy. Seemed pricy for what we got.

Funny little house with a lot of personality. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire table, bbq, everything was well stocked and it met our needs on this short trip. Minor complaints would be that it was hard to get comfortable on the living room furniture and listing it as waterfront/ creek or riverside property felt like a huge stretch and was one of the top two reasons we booked this property. That was a little disappointing and we spent quite a bit of unsuccessful time trying to get to the actual Salmon River.

Was cute, not as secluded like it looks in the pictures. Was kinda bummed there wasn't any snow but overall it was a great relaxing and much needed weekend.

This place was great. Small yet super cozy. Great location! Easy to find, super close to Government Camp and only about an hour from Portland.
The kitchen could have used some more full sized plates and other staples like foil and saran wrap. Not docking any stars though since we didn’t ask for that to be corrected. Only there two nights we made it work. Other than that it was pretty stocked.
Hot tub was great; already heated and covered well so we didn’t get wet. With the jets off it was nice to enjoy the sound of the creek near by. Would recommend bringing extra towels, we didn’t find any.
The beds were comfy, the living room area was perfect for 4 people. Someone had signed in to Disney+ so we were able to watch some movies. Thanks to who ever that was!

We enjoyed our stay at this little cabin in the woods. It was quaint and had everything we needed to relax. The house was cleaned and ready for us at check in. They provided plenty of towels, many kitchen amenities, and several box fans for air circulation. The hot tub was clean and ready for use. As advertised, this cabin is old but charming. Some features are outdated and minor repairs could be done. Some of the blinds do not work and the deck stairs are rotting. Easy fixes! All and all we were very happy with our stay!

Cute for the price! There was no propane for the gas fire place and only about half the space heaters worked, but once that got filled (our second day) we were all set.

Very cute structure and as advertised. I think our dog had the best time between the three of us. The house is well appointed and had all the amenities. We saw deer and their fawns. We could hear the Salmon River raging about 50 yards away which was soothing yet frustrating because there is no direct access or way to get down there without crossing private property lines or risk breaking an ankle. There are other properties very close nearby so it wasn't as secluded as advertised but everyone kept to themselves for the most part so it was fine. Just a few things could use attention - the initial odor upon entry was not pleasant but was solved with opening up the place, the latch on the front door screen didn't close so our pup escaped a couple times, and the bathroom sink needs to be propped open to drain. These are all little things that didn't detract from the lovely time we had. Thank you.

This rustic cabin has so much quirky charm. Wooded setting with an awesome hot tub worked nicely for us. It is in easy proximity to all the summer things we wanted access to; Timothy lake 45 minutes away. Clear Lake 30
Minutes. Government Camp 20 minutes. Zig zag falls trail 15 minutes. There is no river access from the cabin (that we could find). Kitchen had nearly everything you need (except mixing bowls of any type) but we improvised for making a salad. BBQ worked great. There is a step down to the bedrooms and bathrooms, so keep that in mind in case that is an issue for anyone in your party.

Great little community where the cabin is located. Hiking trails are close.
Pictures make the cabin look like it’s the only one. There are neighbors close by. If you have vertigo, the bedrooms are at a slant. However, the beds are comfortable. Had to hook up the Roku. Direction to the fireplace are outdated. Hot tub was fixed and in working order. It would be nice to have a covered area to go between the cabin and the hot tub. Otherwise you are getting muddy. Kitchen is a one butt kitchen. There are no mixing bowls to put salad in or to mix up pancake batter. Great little place to stay for a long weekend.

Electric box broke/ no real heat
Stayed one night at this cabin. Awseome place, only complaint was the electric box blew within 10 minutes of staying there. The electric fireplace did not work at all, back bedrooms were freezing. Had to keep the small space heaters running all night and old style fireplace going. Experience was good, but wished this wasn't an issue. Luckily I was a Boy Scout and currently in the Military, so it didn't bother me too much. Though it felt like a Survival for warmth game. Would like to give another shot, but would like maintenance too be well up to date please.

Weekend cabin getaway
We enjoyed our weekend at the Cedars Cabin - definitely a bit rustic but in a good way! Not too far from restaurants and a small grocery store which was all we needed. Definitely recommend using the written directions provided as supplement to your navigation as the service is spotty and the address is a bit tricky especially after dark, but with the written additions we were able to navigate to the cabin with no problems. Would have left 5 stars except that the cabin could really use a new couch - the current one is pretty lumpy and uncomfortable for sitting for periods longer than 15 minutes. We found cushions on the floor and the dining chairs provided better support/comfort. We would definitely return once there’s a new couch!

Rustic Cabin, Perfect for our weekend Getaway
The check-in process was easy. The management company communicated effectively, professionally, and timely. The location was great for tubing at Ski Bowl. Lots of windows to view the beautiful landscape and wildlife (deer).
