About this apartment rental
This renovation was completed in 2015 . This unit is the premier unit in Giant Steps that is available for guest rental. We wanted to have a luxury unit for ourselves, so we went down to the studs in this unit and replaced everything with high quality materials. We recognize that we are charging a bit more than the other rental units in Giant Steps, but we believe you will recognize the value when you choose to stay in our family condo.
The Giant Steps property was built in 1985 and many of the units for rent are nearly the same as they were 30 years ago. We wanted a place that was modern and comfortable.
This unit features stainless appliances, granite counter tops, 55' & 40' Samsung Smart TVs, WIFI, upgraded showers (we removed the shower tub and built an over-sized shower in the master bathroom), new memory foam queen mattress with new bedroom set in the master bedroom, new kitchen table, and new front room furniture. All new dishes, pans, small appliances, etc. All bathroom and bedroom linens are new.
This units sleeps 8. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom. There is full bed and two singles in the guest room. The front room couches pulls out to a queen sleeper.
As you walk out the door of this Giant Steps building, you are on the ski slope. This is truly a ski in and ski out condo. This unit is also unique as it has beautiful pine and aspens right behind the back patio. This location offers great privacy.
We bought this property because our family loves Brian Head and we love having immediate access to the ski hill, the Giant Steps Lodge, the Brian Head shops and the lake.

We had a lot of fun, a very cozy place! Up-to-date, appreciate the glassware and silverware. Also up-to-date. The one thing that would have been very nice to have, is a nice up to date coffe maker.

Great place and very accommodating. And the condo is truly ski in ski out. You can leave from the front door or the patio door. Strap in and not have to unstrap again till your back.

Great condo with all the amenities. 1st floor is perfect and easy to get to after a full day on the slope. I’ve been taking family Brianhead vacations for 25 years and I would definitely recommend this condo.

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed.
I enjoyed that it was on the first floor and they have an underground garage for parking.
The condo has been upgraded, making the bathrooms and kitchen more modern and comfortable.

First I want to say the condo was gorgeous and the location is fabulous. My issue is the ad said in the amenities that it had a washer and dryer, which it does not. I was super upset and had packed thinking it would have one. There is coin laundry on the same floor but I had no coins so that didn’t help. I was royally upset the first day but I got over it and loved the place. I would have never booked it because I like a washer/dryer when I’m going to snow because I only have one set of winter things and they get wet. But since I was already there, I did my best to enjoy. It’s newly remodeled and had covered parking. Beds are comfy and kitchen has all the pans and things you need. There is only one set of towels, which is limited as I was there for 5 days and as I said before, no laundry to wash them. But again, I survived. I highly recommend as long you know before and pack accordingly.

We use this condo for our short spring break vacation, family of 2 adults and 3 teenager boys . The condo is very nice, cute and cozy.
We used real wood for fireplace, which was romantic and also warmed up the living room. Our boys enjoyed the game room, jacuzzi and spa. After txt-ing to the owners we found out the updated codes for the wood room, game room and spa.
The owners were very nice to allow us for a late checkout.
All together we enjoyed the condo very much, it had coffee, tea, oil, spices, kitchen utensils and pots. Everything was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Positives:
The location is great - true ski in ski out.
Comfortable beds
Good towels
Well stocked kitchen
Negatives:
We got no information from the host prior to arriving except the door code.
Specifically asked for no fragrance due to allergy - there were plug in air fresheners when we arrived - the condo STANK and I had to sit outside for two hours in freezing weather while we tried to air the place out - it never really aired out for our whole stay.
There are NO supermarkets in Brian Head - just small highly priced local markets - closest one is 20 mins away back down the mountain. Not ideal when arriving from out of state.
It is FREEZING in the condo.
Condo is below ground - so very DARK.
Bedsheets do not fit beds - too small.
Furniture is not upgraded - lots of dings / rips on the leather sofas
Broken dresser drawer
Bar stools that are so wobbly it is dangerous to sit on them for fear of them collapsing.
Sofas are super uncomfortable to sit on
No information in the condo at all - no wifi password, no local info at all.
Code given to us by host for spa area did not work
No directions on where spa and game room are.
Overall if we went to Brian Head again we would stay at this building but NOT at this condo. Not worth the money at all.

We enjoyed staying in this amazing condo. It was spacious for our family of 5. We had enough space for all our snow gear and space to spread out. Kitchen was spacious and easy to prepare meals. Loved how close we were to Big Steps Express and Giant Steps Lodge! Will definitely be back!

Great location in Brian Head. The building has underground parking which is very convenient in any weather. The condo is nicely furnished. We liked having 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms so it was a nice getaway for us.

Cozy and welcoming
My boyfriend and I traveled here with our 4 kids. The condo was well appointed and we cooked two big meals and found everything we needed to do so in the kitchen. There was plenty of room for 6. The gate off the balcony to the wooded area behind the condo was a hit with the kids. We also appreciated the short walking distance to the park, shops, and pond. The kids watched the summer tubing from the balcony and enjoyed it the next day. Great summer stay away from the heat!

Perfect Ski In, Ski Out
This condo was a perfect ski in, ski out condo--very convenient to the slopes and Giant Steps chairlift. It was exactly as described and even nicer than the beautiful photos. The large dining room table would be great for families or larger groups. The living room had plenty of seating around a cozy wood burning fireplace next to a large TV. Bedrooms and baths were very comfortable and recently updated.

A true skin in/ski out condo!
The condo was clean and spacious for 5 people (2 adults and 3 teens). On our first day, we were able to ski to the lifts! For the ski in part, you will have to do a black to a blue to ski down to the entrance or you walk up a small hill from the lift.
Only bummer for the condo was the dishwasher was broken and I hate doing dishes!
I would stay here again.

Great family getaway!
Beautiful, clean, recently remodeled condo. The kitchen was set up with nice appliances and all the tools, dishes, etc. to make and serve meals. The host was super responsive with questions.
The condo is located right next to the main Brian Head lift and summer activities, so the location couldn't be better.
While the condo itself was in great shape, the building/complex was a bit run down. Our kids loved the game room, but when it came to using the hot tubs, one was hot, but the jets didn't work. The other one had working jets, but the water was lukewarm.

Before I booked the property, and others I looked at, I asked about parking. We’ve had issues in the past parking our 20 foot trailer with ATVs in certain towns. We were assured it wouldn’t be an issue, so I booked the property. The owner later let me know that people in Brian Head were changing rules to restrict trailers. I was told it shouldn’t be an issue, it would probably be after our stay when it was instituted, and we’d be grandfathered in due to our request prior to booking. Didn’t hear anything else. We arrived in Brian Head at 5:00 pm and didn’t see the unit until after 7:00 pm. Why? Parking! There were signs everywhere, saying no trailer parking. We had to back up our trailer three times (which is a pain) to back out of places we thought we could park in and couldn’t. A town Marshal (who was very nice), told us that anywhere we parked, he’d get a call to ticket us and tell us to move. He suggested talking to an ATV rental place to see if we could park there. We had a very nice lady (Stacy) at Utah ATV Rentals let us park at her lot. Luckily this meant we had a parking spot, but then had to shuttle everything. Beware! There is no parking for ATV trailers in Brian Head at rentals!!! When we got to the door, the lock box for the key was open with the key just sitting there. It made me nervous that someone was in there! Exorbitant cleaning fees too, when you are required to do 90% of the cleaning before you leave or are threatened with additional fees being assessed! I will not rent a Vrbo again. First and last time!!!

Very nice unit. Beautiful remodel. Very clean.
Excellent. Owner very quick to help us with WiFi password. The VRBO reservation did not have the WiFi info. The WiFi field on the reservation said “not added “. Great location. Convenient first floor unit.

It was ok
We stayed one night on our way to Moab. It met our needs, however not much around in terms of food and grocery. Restaurants closed early (it was Sunday), thankfully the restaurant at the Beat Western was still open.

Great Ski In / Ski Out Condo
We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this unit again in the future. The location is great for easy ski in / ski out access to Giant Steps Lift. The condo was clean and perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and everything you would need for cooking.

Another awesome stay at Brian Head
Had a great trip with the family skiing at Brian Head. There's so many properties that list ski in/out but this one is actually the case. Super nice condo and so well furnished and decorated. This is our second time staying with this owner, and we're so glad we did. We actually ran into an issue with the plumbing during the trip but the owner got right on the issue and got a plumber to fix everything while we were out skiing.

Great Location
We came with 3 kids under 12 and the ski in/out of this unit couldn't be better. There are not stairs to navigate with ski boots! This unit is very well appointed and the owner easy to communicate with!

Nice place but VERY low garage
Place was nice but both toilets had problems. We continually had to try and plunge (after 1st use and during our stay). The covered parking garage is very low and my vehicle barely fit other than that nice place and convienent location.
