Absolutely best place for a retreat from everything and catch up with cousins! Enjoyed walks and the house was equipped with almost everything you could want! Only one thing I would add or suggest to anyone coming is to bring a fan! It was wonderful weather just need a little air movement. But that didn’t take anything away from our relaxing weekend! Thank you for all the extras they didn’t go unnoticed!

Host Sherie was very responsive and helpful. Our second time staying here with a large group. Love the game room and the large dining room table.

Huge, beautiful log cabin with everything you need to feel comfortable. Plenty of space both inside and out for sixteen of us. Great kitchen for cooking and a large frig plus a beverage cooler. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The shuffleboard table was a blast, and the foosball table got lots of use. The caretaker was friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

The home is exactly as advertised and perfect for multi- family reunion. The rooms were spacious and well decorated, the yard is great for handing by the firepit. We had 17 family members from ages 14-82 and no one complained. Its off the beaten path and you are in your own sanctuary. The homeowners were very easy to communicate with, the information was shared before we arrived and was complete, so we did not need to reach out to them the entire long weekend.

The house was even more spacious than the photos! What a wonderful place to share family memories in a beautiful mountain setting.

We were in town for the Pendleton Roundup. The house is beautiful spacious, and so comfortable! It felt like home. We had everything needed for a great trip. The property and the views are awesome. Its a great place for the whole family. The caretakers and their family are some of the nicest people and were very helpful. We all enjoyed meeting and spending time with them.

This was our 2nd time staying at the cabin. And we had a great time! The kids enjoyed the shuffle board and horse shoes, and the teenagers were excited about having WiFi. We ventured out to the Milton Freewater drive-in, and really enjoyed that also.
Thank you for sharing your home.

We thoroughly enjoyed this lodge! Sleeping accommodations worked out well for our family of 18. The (4) boy cousins and (4) girl cousins loved the 3rd floor loft with # of beds to fit all eight of the comfortably.
My sister, her husband and (3) small children (5,3, and 9 months) enjoyed the suite on the 2nd floor with a king bed, plenty of space for pack 'n play, and private bathroom. My sister and I (both single) shared the 2nd bedroom on the 2nd floor (one Queen, one Twin) and my brother and his wife had the single Queen bedroom on the 2nd floor. Of course mom & dad (grandma & grandpa) had the main floor suite!
The kitchen is small but we knew this when we rented the property. We managed just fine by "allowing" only (2) people in the space during meal preparations. :-) The bar was ideal for buffet style serving and there was a high chair for the baby. The dining room table with saddle seats on each end was great for meals and games and there was a card table available for puzzles!
We were concerned that only having 3.5 bathrooms might be an issue but we had plenty of hot water and the only bottleneck of the entire trip happened on the morning of checkout (which is to be expected).
A Smart TV would have been nice for streaming on movie nights but we used HDMI cables to hook up laptops which worked out fine. We loved the covered porch and spent a lot of time outside. There is no railing and stairs only on one side of the lodge so keep this in mind for little ones!

Loved the home it is secluded, caretakers were awesome. They are just a call away and was very supportive. only hiccup was the security code to enter the home was not setup correctly and caretakers have to come and enter the master code and we got new security code. Google map shows the long unpaved road, but there is a shorter unpaved road if you take a loop.

We had a great time with our family in this large cabin in the Blue Mountains. There is a lot to do both inside and out. We came in April, and it was still very snowy, so we got to sled and build some snowmen. We did have trouble getting up the street with our minivan, but luckily the very helpful caretaker was there to help. But it's a lovely place for a large group. One thing to know before you visit: there are no kitchen staples, so bring everything you need (including salt, sugar, vinegar etc.) for cooking.

I think the inside was even better than the listing pictures. What a great place!! I would highly recommend this cabin for a large group. Very spacious and clean. We enjoyed going to andies prairie to sled. I would definitely rent this cabin again!!

My family and my sister's family had an amazing time at this property. The cabin was very roomy. We enjoyed the weather as well as the warmth from the fire place. Jim the care taker of the house was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were able to escape to the mountains to ride snow mobiles and go sledding. This is a trip my family and I will do again next year.

Great, lovely cabin to relax in and fun outside hiking to enjoy the nature around you. We love the shuffleboard and have small tournaments. We are looking forward to another trip in the future.

Our family had a wonderful time this past weekend at Blue Mountain Lodge. It was perfect for our family of 11 which included 1 teen and 4 kids. My daughters said they couldn’t believe that with 11 people we never felt crowded or on top of each other. We brought games and videos with us but never used them because it was so much fun exploring outside.
We loved the rustic log decor and all the room. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, etc. All we needed to bring was food, spices and some paper products.
Jimi (the caretaker) and his wife Marina were really helpful for anything we needed and gave great recommendations for places to see or eat at nearby. Jubilee Lake is beautiful and we spent a fun day there. We also had dinner at the Alpine Inn in Tollgate. It’s only open Thur-Sun and is a warm welcoming place with really good food. Best steak fries any of us have ever had and the prime rib was incredible.
Thank you Mike & Sheri for sharing your wonderful cabin. Our grandsons can’t wait until we can come again.

This cabin (lodge) was exactly what my family needed. We have had a couple devastating losses this year and this cabin allowed us all to take a break from life.. After the first day, my family was already planning when they want to come back.
The lodge is large and so comfortable. Plenty of bedrooms and beds and most importantly bathrooms for our 12 family members. We loved exploring the area in our side x sides, playing cornhole in the large yard, shuffle board competitions and card games at the large dining room table. Jim, the caretaker was wonderful, stopping by every couple days to see if we needed anything.

We loved the size of the lodge and the remoteness of the location. Loved the little hikes we were able to go on.

Rustic, beautiful setting. Enjoyed the large home for all of us. Comfortable, clean and everything we needed. Our GPS directions took us a long way over a gravel road. Was good when we figured out the way from Walla Walla on a shorter gravel road.

We loved it! It rained/snowed the whole weekend so we did not get to go out very much, but the cabin has great window watching for wildlife and games inside. My younger sister was born and raised in the Walla Walla area and was so glad to see the Blue Mountains again. My granddaughter graduated at WWU and her folks are living in Michigan. Her mother's parting remark was: "We need to have more family reunions here." Loved it!

Our family gathering of 10 was just what we all needed at Blue Mountain Lodge. Has everything you need for your stay. Plenty of room if you all want to hang out together or have your own space to sit and read. We all enjoyed the shuffle board. There was a little spring snow storm. Kids enjoyed the snow. Care taker checked on us a couple times. Very nice man. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We found everything we needed in the cabin. It is a beautiful comfortable place and not hard to get to. It's a great place for a family get together.

We planned on a snowmobiling weekend and the snow was terrible (thanks, Mother Nature). BUT...there is a fantastic shuffleboard table that saved the day/weekend! We had several tournaments and laughed and visited and enjoyed our stay a lot. There were plenty of beds with several extra. Plenty of amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, towels, blankets, pillows, etc..). It was a really nice time and when we rent it next year, we are sending a memo to Mother Nature for some good snow!

Everything we could possibly need was already there besides the food of course. Theres plenty of entertainment with the shuffle board as the main event. The comfort level is a 10 out of 10 with comfortable beds and heating.

We really enjoyed our family get together at your cabin. It started snowing when we pulled in the drive and continued untill we left 12 inches later. A big thank you to your care taker for opening up the driveway for us to leave. Everything went well during our stay. Plenty of firewood to keep us cozy and lots of room for famiily activities. We even had cell service most of the time. Thamks again for the opportunity to stay at your cabin.

Family of 12 had a wonderful time at Blue Mountain Lodge. Spacious, comfy home in the woods with plenty of hiking trails or just hanging out on the wrap around porch. Special shout out to the caretakers who checked in on us a couple of times to ensure we had everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was a beautiful place, well stocked with supplies and very well maintained. It was a home, and you could feel it! The drive out to it was beautiful and there is plenty to do if you just want to hang out in the house. We really enjoyed the shuffle board upstairs and the band slept in, relaxed and sang and played music on the porch. Thanks for opening your home so others could enjoy it! The Robert Henry Band

Hosts were extremely accommodating as a heat wave had settled in. They got 2 portable A/C units that made our stay! Everything you could want was in the cabin. Great hiking.

Property was infested with bats both inside and out. We removed dozens of live and dead bats. This was unexpected to say the least. Possible that this is the norm but nowhere in the description does it state vermin are doing around the house. If you're here in the winter they may be hibernating but in the summer they're everywhere

You couldn’t find a better retreat in the woods! Classic lodge with all the comforts of home. Places to walk, hunt mushrooms or use it as a home base to explore the able Mountains.
Text messages usually come through on Verizon, but otherwise you are cut off from the modern communications and people start talking rather surfing the net or talking to people that are not on the trip.
We saw white tail deer, elk and chipmunks. t”The birds and thunder storms played a symphony for us at different times.
Great location
