The cottage is well situated in a quiet neighborhood. The well groomed community park just across the street worked perfectly for my daily dawn stroll. Many resteraunts are within easy walking distance. Several other community parks with trails are withinn 15 minutes. Nearest beach aporoximatly 8 minutes away. Plenty of wading birds to watch in the beighborhood. I did see manatees on several occassions in the adjacent canal style river.
If you like Florida you will like the cottage and neighborhood but I was born on a mountain and lived in a cave and Appalachia is all that I crave.

This was a quaint little home with just the right amount of things to make it feel like a home, but not be too much stuff.
The AC stayed at the appropiate temperature we set it at. No bugs to be found in tge home whatsoever, other than an occasional lizard out on the lanai š, but thats to be expected in Florida.
Communication was great with Andrea. I would give her feedback on just a few very minor things that I noticed and she responded with grace and appreciation. My father loves this little cottage and we will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
Thank you Andrea for making us feel like this was our home away from home

Great location in the center of revitalized Downtown New Port Richey. Right across the street from Sims Park and Orange Lake and the Cotee Riverwalk. Great surroundings for activities and daily walks. Downtown has a wide variety of restaurants, craft breweries, ice cream shops, theater and the renovated Hacienda Hotel has a great restaurant. The cottage suited us perfectly and Andrea, the host was a pleasure to deal with, always ready to help with any needs. Would definitely recommend a stay at The Cottage!

I was there visiting family
Staying at the cottage was a great stay. We went out to eat in the restaurants that were in walking distance, watched the sunset by the lake.
Everything there was so convenient, from the closeness of everything, to the washer and dryer and overall relaxation

So lovely!
My husband and I love this property and will return! So clean, a perfect location and the owner has thought of everything! We came alone but will return with grandchildren. Park across the street had amazing playground and a splash pad. The river walk is beautiful. We could walk to get coffee, icecream, bakery, food and drink! We come to NPR to visit my mom and we will never stay in a hotel again!

The Hemingway Cottage is a fabulous place to stay right in the heart of Downtown New Port Richey. The house was super clean with all the amenities we could want. We were even treated to an amazing fireworks display literally right outside our door. I would definitely stay here again.

Paradise!
Had the best time at Hemingwayās Cottage! While small, accommodations couldnāt be better for a single or a couple, maybe a small family. The location is perfect for walkers and close to much to see. Sims Park is conveniently across the street, but things get nice and quiet after the park closes for the night. New Port Richey is a wonderful town with plenty of restaurants and friendly people.

Exceptional Location
This property is located next to a large park and a river walkway, which are both great places to walk. There are also several restaurants and bars within walking distance. We had a small problem with the hot water, which Andrea is taking care of. Other than that it was a great stay.

Pleasant stay there are some issues with the bathroom doors colliding. We saw a few very big ants. Minor things but a lot of extras in the home. A vantage point if you like water and parks.

Cozy cottage
The home was a cozy cottage. It was clean and nicely decorated. It is in a great location. You can walk along the Cotee River and enjoy the many weekend events at Simms Park. There are also many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The property owner, Andrea, quickly responded to our needs and was very helpful. Because of Covid-19, we had to leave earlier then planned and Andrea was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Top Notch
I canāt say enough good things about Andrea and her property. First, Andrea was always quick to respond to questions and offered recommendations for the area. We were able to meet her and she is delightful. Secondly, the property was extremely clean and well equipped. It is located right across the street from a beautiful park and the river. My husband and I enjoyed walks and he even did some fishing. It is a short walk to many restaurants. The cottage is small yet comfortable. The two rooms are connected by a door, for our family it didāt present any issues with privacy. I highly recommend a stay at the cottage, we will stay again if we are in the area.

Everything We Wanted and More
We are so very pleased that we found the charming Hemmingway Cottage in New Port Richey. The home was immaculate. Andrea is a super hostess who gave extra time to visit us to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is located on the edge of the spectacular Sims Park on the "Cootee" River. We walked across the street to the park that just experienced an eleven million dollar rebuild. The shade trees are massive, there are numerous shade-covered picnic areas enjoyed by all ages, an area with outdoor exercise equipment, a small lake, walkways that boarder the river and broad sidewalks accessible to all. We loved the Historical Society Museum located in the park as well as the fabulous Seafood and Blues Festival that was a three day celebration with bands, vendors and all ages of people celebrating spring, good music and food in an amiable atmosphere. The childrens' playground is spectacular. Our neighborhood is safe for walkers and dog owners. We enjoyed walking as well as soaking in the architecture of the 1920's neighborhood. You can walk to downtown in just a few minutes where you will find numerous restraunts, each featuring fabulous food. We also enjoyed the friendly bars and outdoor seating for food. The corner ice cream shop is joyous, the library welcoming and everyone friendly and welcoming in this small, revitalized downtown. The community is a delightful oasis from the highways and shopping malls. We will be back and hope Andrea has an opening for us at her memorable property!
