very roomy and clean
further out than was stated
no amenities- coffee maker didn’t work and kitchen and bathroom were bare of essentials

Stayed there a whole 20 mins, front door looked like it had previously been kicked in and couldn’t be locked, security door could be locked but no good enough for me. There was a knock on one of the windows so high tailed it out of there. Finished up booking into a hotel.
Besides not feeling safe the house was very clean and well presented. Very large rooms.

If you're traveling on a budget, this space is a great choice. The house is not only very spacious but clean. No smelly strange odors or tacky furniture, like most low budget places in New Orleans. And although, it's an older home, and it has some minor cosmetic issues, it's very comfortable and has a home-like atmosphere. So much better than staying in a hotel. It came fully equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. Some of the neighbors were surprisingly friendly. I was so glad we found this little gem🤩!
Some parts of the neighborhood seemed sketchy. The microwave is on top of the refrigerator, seems like an odd location, very hard to reach.

A/C worked great, close to where my family was staying, comfortable couch, comfortable bed, had all I needed
microwave was too high to reach easily, hole cut out to access pipes in bathroom was kind of unsettling,

redone very nicely
needs an extra air conditioner window unit.

Neighborhood, size of rental, good free parking. Lots of sirens, but otherwise quiet.
Minimal dishes and silverware. Microwave too high to use. No way to make more than a single cup of coffee without bringing your own cone and large mugs to keep coffee warm. Front door doesn't really lock. No TNT.
3.5
There was no breakfast but there was a complete kitchen and dining area
Quite a bit of sirens and other street noise at night

you might have to keep your eyes open walking around the neighbourhood late at night but it was interesting and o k during the day. the owner was freindly and very helpful to deal with .
nothing really, was all good and very fair for the price .

For a relatively low price (especially compared to other hotels in New Orleans) you basically get a fully equipped house. A bedroom, a kitchen/dining room and a tv/sofa-room. And a bathroom and your own front porch. The kitchen had everything you'd expect in a proper home. No small hotel-versions of anything. The streetcar that takes you straight to the sights of New Orleans is just a 10-minute walk down the street.
The area is a bit shady and the Lousiana Avenue is very busy day and night. If you're in any way sensitive to sound this is not the place for you since it felt like the cars and trucks were driving through the livingroom. The bathtub was a bit worn out and the paint was flaking off it. Otherwise we had nothing to complain about and really enjoyed our stay.

nothing
location, spider webs everywhere, enamel peeling from the tub and molded tub mat, very noisy, had to burn a candle to cover the old smell, only one heater …. I’m exhausted

just as described. “historic modern”. it’s an older home with classic New Orleans design, original hard wood floors, thick wood moulding, stained glass door, high ceilings. just beautiful. yet with all modern appliances. it has a gas heater which was lit when we arrived. so it was nice and toasty on a cold night which was really thoughtful.

Information on advert and photos were incorrect. there was no sofa bed, and no help from either Booking.com or the accommodation to help us with the sleeping arrangements that were not as advertised. Lot of noise and light from the street and the neighbor’s property not blocked out by blinds, and various holes in the floor to the ground below.

Location was on a busy street but very accessible for transit and had street parking. It is a large space and adequately furnished.
It’s in a very old building and is long overdue for some TLC. The neighbouring house had a light that flashed on and off on a 30 second timer, and the window covering did not shut this out which made sleep a challenge. The microwave sits atop a full size fridge - needed to climb on a chair to reach it. The kitchen could be adequately equipped at a cost of $50.

easy check in
the place was dirty, cockroaches were crawling around the bathroom. the shower was in pieces. area is sketchy at night.

It’s a nice remodeled home split into four. very convenient.
I named this house the house that giants built. I’m 5’3 and couldn’t reach anything in the cabinets. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRaeccFV/

The apartment is really old and damaged. There was a leak in the roof next to the bed and water was dropping and leaking the whole night making a lot noise and everything wet.

The house was really nice on the inside. Simple but spacious. It was about 8 walkable blocks from the St Charles Streetcar line. And the price was amazing. I am glad we opted for this place instead of a hotel - saved money but also enjoyed walking up to a house, sitting on the front porch and having extra space. Inside the house was just a fun atmosphere!

I was threatened by the property owner. I accidentally found his hidden, but moldy, unsealed exposed window behind new mini blinds. I warn anyone with health issues or trying to avoid health issues to never consider this place. Under the window that provided 3 weeks of rain and temps that dropped into the 30s, mold mildew, rat hair, there was a family of feral cats living under the window. It was a trip for me to escape domestic violence, but when I accidently dusted that mini blind that was alongside the only bed where we slept for 3 weeks, all of the answers to why my service dog who has a severe heart condition, could hardly sleep due to severe breathing problems. I have a bacterial infection throughout my throat, upper respiratory area, and into my ears. We were covered in bites from fleas and spiders, but when I contacted the property owner, he refused and I welcome anyone to listen to exactly how he treats women, he's very abusive. He proceeded to call me a liar, thief and insinuate that I was HUSTLING him. The photos will tell the story better than I can. He showed up the next day repeatedly as a I struggled to remove very heavy items, with fever, from the exposure to his neglected blighted hazardous rental property. He refused to show up and seal that window the day prior, but when I was leaving, going into the public with a severely compromised immune system, he showed up multiple times and threatened me, I finally called a crisis line to ensure I made it out safely. Anyone who endangers the life of an animal, is the lowest of the low and I will attach photos of the raw areas on my dog from being bit over and over by fleas, even inside his ears were just raw from bites. He is on flea meds, but they have to bite then die. I was not on the proper flea treatment to stay in this place, but I'm irrelevant. Animals cannot speak for their own suffering.
This place is a toxic health hazard that will harm you and had I not been there for 3 weeks, I never would have discovered what's hidden beneath the cheap but new set mini blinds. He was somehow able to check in a very elderly couple without a second thought as I was leaving, he's going to cause great harm to someone and they will never know where it began. It didn't begin with Covid, it began when he failed to do his job ..... to secure the health and safety of individuals who pay him and mistakenly trust he's just a nice fella. I found a box of condoms hidden, some were scattered on the floor by the washer and dryer, his change of dirty underwear and pants. They will shut him down because no one deserves to be a sacrifice to his greed. Please see all photos and if you stayed at this property, all of the apartments are toxic. Infestations are not isolated to just one room. He was cocky, telling me "It's a 200 year old building" I was quick to inform him that I have stayed all over New Orleans, all 200 year old buildings and never experienced this level of filth and disregard for others safety. I cannot change his personality and buyer beware, you will take a serious risk to your health if you stay here.

It was clean and only a 3 block walk to the St. Charles car.
The futon and bed were very uncomfortable and needed more towels and bath tissue
