About this bed and breakfast

We are cheerful vacation rental homeowners and are super motivated to make sure you have a five star stay!

COVID UPDATE:

Here is what we are doing to make sure your stay is comfortable and safe. We are:
1. Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in.
2. We also are airing our the whole home for at least 20 minutes between guests.
3. We are washing the sheets/towels on the highest heat that they can handle between guests.
4. We are changing the vacuum bag/cleaning filter between guests.
5. I also clean the kitchen/bathroom and then disinfect with a bleach or alcohol based solution.
6. Since the guest house is on our property, we also will give you appropriate social distancing space!

This immaculate, private 980 sq. foot guest house has a full kitchen, laundry and garage. Almost everything about this home is new--bed, furniture, sheets, towels, carpet, paint...

This beautifully decorated cottage is waiting for you to come and relax and unwind. Savor your coffee on the private patio. Enjoy the huge 20 x 40 foot diving pool. Although the pool is unheated, many people enjoy laying out on lounge chairs around the pool in the winter. Or, roast marshmallows at night around the fire pit. We are looking forward to meeting you!

This is a private guest home at the back of our 1/2 acre property. Your quarters are completely separate from our main house, including a gated entrance with remote opener. We have created a 'cottage' experience to give you an opportunity to relax and unwind in a quiet atmosphere.

The cottage has been meticulously and lovingly decorated down to its window boxes, plants and shutters--we've had so much fun!

The spacious living room, full kitchen and laundry are complete with amenities you will need. Our extra large bathroom gives plenty of room for getting ready for the day, with an extra vanity area and additional closets. Our queen size bedroom has a VERY comfortable cool-gel topped mattress that you will not want to leave in the morning. The new sofa bed is comfortable and welcoming.

We also have wifi and direct T.V. for your viewing pleasure.

We are located 5 minutes from the Biltmore, conveniently close to fabulous restaurants, golf courses and shopping.

We value your privacy and want you to rest while you are here. But if you need something, we are over in the main house.

Our third stay, so appreciate the warm welcome, charming cosy cottage and dips in the pool. Lisa is an excellent and thoughtful hostess and we always feel blessed by our time here while going to and fro to GCU with our son and enjoying the charms of AZ with him in our free time. Thank you again!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage retreat. Lisa and Justin were both very sweet and readily available for any questions. We were in AZ moving our daughter into GCU so we did not have an opportunity to use the beautiful pool but it was amazing. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay there again when we come to visit our daughter.

This adorable cottage was perfect for our stay as the location was central and close to everything we needed. It was super clean and organized and the beds were very comfortable. Last but certainly not least, Lisa was a gem and was there when we needed but gave us our privacy the entire stay. Highly recommend and will be back!

Peaceful, great pool, lovely garden, good location … charming hosts who are there if you need them, otherwise you have total privacy. A large garage to store your vehicle and holiday equipment is an added plus.

I was in the Phoenix area for work and found Lisa and Jim’s beautiful cottage and was so happy it was available! It’s such a sweet place and very spacious with everything you could need. The bedroom is so pretty and the bed very comfy. I loved having the windows open to hear the sound of the wind chimes and the beautiful fountains on the property. The cottage was a very homey feel with a comfy couch for relaxing, a huge bathroom for getting ready for the pool, and a comfy bed. The backyard was GORGEOUS with lots of beautiful plants; it was really an oasis! We greatly enjoyed the sparkling, well cared-for saltwater pool; we spent the whole day in it relaxing. It was an awesome reprieve from the Phoenix heat. Our host was very friendly and informative and let us know that the amount of interaction was up to us. It was great to know that I could knock on their door if I needed anything, but I didn’t have to worry about anyone being in our space when we were trying to relax. Definitely the perfect balance of privacy and attention to our needs. We would DEFINITELY stay here if we head to Phoenix again! Book the stay; you won’t be disappointed!

When traveling, a nice spot to come “home” to after a long day of exploring, touring the city is a must. This property offers everything of just that. You can relax on the patio with a good book, or in the house on the couch. It is a quiet area of Phoenix so you feel out of the city, but so close to many fun restaurants and shops you could walk to. You can drive an hour south and be in the desert or and hour north to be in the mountains. You have a ton of privacy as well. With a full kitchen you can stock the fridge, and wash your clothes before heading home. Truly a great spot for couples or families. A ten out of ten stars.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful cottage. Many little cozy touches all over the space including a little dish on the bedside table for jewelry, AirPods, etc. It’s little things like that which stood out! Our only “complaint” is we didn’t stay longer to enjoy it more. Oh! It’s a very quick and easy drive to/from the airport. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in the charming, quiet, clean and well-appointed guest house of Lisa's, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others when staying in Phoenix! The hosts were warm and inviting, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe enough to go for a morning jog, but still close to the heart of the city and freeway access.

My son and I came for the Super Bowl. Lisa was our 3rd reservation. The 1st two cancelled on us only to raise their rates to get the Super Bowl $$. Lisa didn’t cancel on us and raise rates. We appreciate her integrity. Hospitality was top notch. She was there if we needed anything but also gave us space to enjoy our guys trip. Accommodations are clean, spacious and perfectly fit our needs. It’s conveniently located to many things.

The property is just as pictured. Didn't talk much with hosts aside from check-in which was all good - we were more into relaxing on our own and exploring the sights. The house was perfect to come back to to unwind and rest. Everything you could need was there. Too cold to use the pool (January) but it was pretty to look at!
