Nice home and a great location but "grill" is VERY small and required charcoal so we never used it. The kitchen didn't include a dish towel or potholders (which we didn't realize until too late, I mean how do you get your dish out of the oven??). Also, if you need linens for the pull-out sofa, they aren't included unless you ask for them; they should let you know that in advance.

Overall the stay was wonderful and we were able to enjoy our time at this residence. There are a couple of things that would have made our stay even better so please consider for the future. We were pretty disappointed to find out that there was not a grill on the property. When we did use the oven to cook there were not oven mits anywhere so we had to use towels which was quite unsafe as the top rack almost fell out on someone when they were pulling it out. Also, please give the renters replacements for the number of nights they are staying on the property. For example, we only had one garbage bag for four days which is unrealistic for the number of guests the house can accommodate. Other than that we enjoyed our time and would likely return. Thank you!

This house was great for 3 families/ 10 people. Rooms were spacious with dressers and closets. Pool and hot tub were so nice to have in 90 degree weather. We had all the amenities we needed. Everything was perfect. Only thing we needed service on was the ice maker on the fridge was broke but they brought us a bag of ice.

The cottage I rented was lovely and very roomy. Each Bedroom had its own Bathroom, which was great. The cottage also had a pool and hot tub, which we all enjoyed. The only issue I had that there was no BBQ grill on the premises. So we were unable to grill our meals. I had to bring everything to another unit which my Niece and her family rented on another street in the complex.

We have stayed in the Margaritaville Cottages many times. It is always a beautiful stay. This home was nice, clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The water was warm even with cooler weather. Where the home lacked was in the details. The towels were horribly thin and rough. The comforters felt like tissues, they were so thin and no extra blankets in the whole place. One of the stairs to the upper floor was held together with blue painters tape. It isn’t the impression I feel Margaritaville wants to give for a pricey stay. The location is great with many stores nearby. Feels safe and super convenient to parks. Overall a good place but maintenance and quality of the home need to be better.

My family and I have stayed in a cottage at Margaritaville before and it was by far a much better experience than this last visit. We actually loved it which is why we booked there again.
If you’re going to stay at this resort and in a cottage I highly recommend booking it through the resort cottages and NOT vstays! They advertise all the same amenities as the resort and that is not true.
When we previously stayed it was through cottages and we were able to rent pack and plays along with extra towels, and toilet paper. Also, a margarita to drink while checking in! They also told us we couldn’t rent a cabana at the pool because we were not hotel guests since it was through vstays. The host at the counter was very rude and stated vstays doesn’t offer any of this. She further stated these were hotel amenities and we were not hotel guests.
Therefore, it was just a headache and not as easy or stress free vacation. Vstays needs to better advertise what why offer and what they don’t because there is a difference between hotel and vstay guests!

We spent a wonderful week enjoying the amenities at this property. We were six couples, and the home accommodated us very well. We especially enjoyed the backyard pool and hot tub. We took advantage of the shuttle bus to take us to the many restaurants around the property. My only suggestion would be for additional bath and kitchen towels. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a great time at our Margaritaville Cottage! We loved the private pool and space for all the family to have their own rooms. The bonus of the pac man arcade game and play station 4. We never swam at the main pool because the convenience of having our own pool and hot tub was so nice. We also didn’t want to deal with the hassle of waiting in line at 9am to reserve a spot at the pool and the wrist band we had to put on everyday was a hassle. The shuttle service was convenient too!

Fourteen of us from Orlando and Gainesville stayed for second time at beautiful Margaritaville. Property was clean and well equipped, close to shopping, restaurants and next to an off-site water park, which the grandkids enjoyed. Our stay was 5 days, 4 nights. Everything was outstanding. The location was incredible, the Polynesian show on Saturday night was fantastic. The property was extremely clean. Only have two complaints and I don’t usually complain on these reviews. First, absolutely no drinks or snacks are allowed when entering the pool area. All food and drink must be purchased there. Bags are checked - not even goldfish snacks for toddlers, juice, nothing. I can understand a restriction of coolers, but come on, and they do check bags. Even ingredients for s’mores must be purchased there. No chocolate, graham crackers, or marshmallows can be brought in for the s’mores. Jimmy Buffett would not be happy. Second, on the day before we left, our heater for the pool and hot tub at the unit broke and could not be fixed until after our stay. It was due to a broken sensor in the heater and needed to be ordered and scheduled for replacement, we were told. I was told, without asking, that there would be no compensation. V-stays rep said the pool and hot tub were included but the heat was complimentary. I thought at first that she was joking. I told her then they should call it a pool and a tub, not a heated pool and a hot tub. One person in our group is a travel agent and she said this was unacceptable. Anyway, we were very glad this happened at the end of our stay and not at the beginning. Other than these two small glitches, it was an incredible vacation and we would definitely return. Highly recommend.

We were a family of 13. 10 adults and 3 children. the place was perfect for our family because no one wanted to share a bath. There was 3 bedrooms up and 3 down. All the upstairs bedrooms had King Beds 2 out of the 3 bedrooms downstairs had queen beds. The safety feature of the pool alarm on the door was very annoying While we were sitting outside watching the kids someone would go into the house and that alarm would go off. The placement of the door alarm to go back in was not in a good location in reference to where you opened the door. There should be a way to disable it when only adults are there. In addition there is no absorbent mat at the back door so we had to lay towels on the floor and many of us tripped on the towels while going in. The coffee maker broke the day of our arrival and was replaced very quickly. Great service thanks. There was no real thought to the design of the bar area where the Frozen Margarita Machine was because in order to use it, The Top would not fit unless you brought the unit almost to the edge of the counter. For such a large home. There was a limited amount of cookware. 2 small frying pans is not enough when cooking for 13 people. 1- 1 quart and 1-2 quart pots are not enough for a large family. Plenty of dishes, silverware, wine glasses, coffee mugs and drink glasses. Overall the stay was great. I would of wanted a lemon or lime squeezer. a butter dish sugar bowl. just little things that you miss when traveling. Loved the sound system. The Hot tub and pool were great too

We rented this house for a family vacation - our kids, their spouses and our grand babies. We had 8 adults and 5 little ones. It was perfect! So nice to come "home" after a day at the parks. The large kitchen was well equipped with what we needed. Tons of dishes. It had 2 coffee makers which was helpful for our clan in the mornings. The common spaces were great and then everyone had their own space (including private bathrooms). The pool and hot tub were a hit, as was the video game! Was so nice to have a washer and dryer available. Everything was clean and maintained. Asked for the pool to be heated on arrival and it was. VStays was great to work with! I think the only suggestions I would have would be more towels (only 2 per bathroom) and better quality. The towels were thin and worn. A pack-n-play would have been very helpful. Also salt and pepper in the kitchen would have been nice. Those are very minor details. LOVED our stay and would definitely return. The area is great - tons of restaurants and stores close by. The week went so fast and we were sad to leave.

I rented this house for a long weekend with 4 other couples. The house had 6 bedrooms and a full bath in each bedroom. We all had plenty of space and privacy when needed. The cottage was just perfect for our stay! We had seven family members staying at the property and it was spacious and comfortable. The resort is fabulous , pretty and clean. The check in staff are great and always promptly answer the phone. Last year we had no issues with the home (4 bedroom ) this year we had a 6 bedroom and we had a lot of maintenance issues. Day 1 we reported the hot tub and pool did not heat. It was February and we had 5 teenagers with us so this was a big issue for our group. The surround sound speakers had blown and didn’t work. The waste disposal never worked and a handle was off the upstairs door . All issues were reported ( minus the disposal ) on the first day. A tech came out for the hot tub and reset the heat. It worked 1 time then broke again. I called everyday on the hot tub and it was never fixed. However I was offered a $200 credit by day 3 and was told it would be fixed day 4 but it never was . The surround sound tech never came back. I felt like such a complainer on the hot tub and so didn’t bother reporting that again as we really wanted a hot hot tub over the speakers working We still had a great time and I would still highly recommend the resort but am worried as the homes age they are not being maintained well . We will go back next year and try again and hopefully get a more functional home. I’ll just be sure not to book 8069 Surf Street. Overall I highly recommend the resort and the staff are great. The poor girl at the desk must’ve been sick of me calling but she was always very courteous and polite.

Last year we had no issues with the home (4 bedroom ) this year we had a 6 bedroom and we had a lot of maintenance issues. Day 1 we reported the hot tub and pool did not heat. It was February and we had 5 teenagers with us so this was a big issue for our group. The surround sound speakers had blown and didn’t work. The waste disposal never worked and a handle was off the upstairs door . All issues were reported ( minus the disposal ) on the first day. A tech came out for the hot tub and reset the heat. It worked 1 time then broke again. I called everyday on the hot tub and it was never fixed. However I was offered a $200 credit by day 3 and was told it would be fixed day 4 but it never was . The surround sound tech never came back. I felt like such a complainer on the hot tub and so didn’t bother reporting that again as we really wanted a hot hot tub over the speakers working
We still had a great time and I would still highly recommend the resort but am worried as the homes age they are not being maintained well .
We will go back next year and try again and hopefully get a more functional home. I’ll just be sure not to book 8069 Surf Street. Overall I highly recommend the resort and the staff are great. The poor girl at the desk must’ve been sick of me calling but she was always very courteous and polite.

Amazing
Easy check in and check out. The cottage was beautiful.The colors of the inside of the house were calming to the eye. Upstairs was my favorite with a second family with the game system and the old school big arcade machine.
The beds were comfortable as well. I definitely would stay again.
