Attitude of reception staff Breakfast was poor especially the hot food.

Location was good and easy to get too. Nice staff. Plenty of towels provided. Excellent breakfast. Dog was very relaxed.

We had booked a family room but it was a bit cramped for moving about, had to stay on the bed most of the time. Lack of cups and milk for 4 people.

The room was spacious and the facilities were good. The breakfast had a good selection

The first room I was given someone had been sick in the sink. Maintenance came to unblock just as I had entered the room. Then they had to get someone to clean it. I asked to be moved. I should never have been given the room in the first place. I phoned reception and was given another room straight away. No apologies given.

Normally it is a very good hotel for the purpose of going to the adjoining racetrack.

The scores are based on a previous stay in the interest of fairness. On this occasion I had to cancel one of two rooms I had booked. I was subsequently charged by the hotel for the cancelled room. I was passed from pillar to post from the hotel to Booking.com, both denying responsibility. After several e-mails and telephone calls to the hotel I was eventually reimbursed without them notifying they had done so, or any form of an apology for the trouble caused.

I liked the view over the racecourse.

No negatives.

Stayed here a few times now it’s our preferred location for when we have to be in Glasgow and round about. Always clean and staff always friendly and very helpful

This stay the mattress was pretty uncomfortable haven’t had this before when staying here other then that had no issues as usual

We were there for the racing so location was excellent Room overlooking the race course was good. Shower good.

Being race weekend the hotel was exceptionally busy so breakfast was crowded.

The property is in an amazing location next to and overlooking a racetrack. The decor is related to racing and is so well done.

reception staff person was extremely helpful and friendly on check in and on check out ( same person, young woman) extremely clean room- we have stayed before and this room was the cleanest ever

We loved looking out at the racecourse from our room. Lovely modern Hilton. Big improvement on the one which we stayed at the previous night at Edinburgh Airport. Great access to motorway heading North to the Highlands as well. Lovely friendly staff at breakfast area and reception despite being under pressure with large coach tour groups.

Easy parking. Next door to the race course.

Blocked bathroom basin. Food choice. No separate restaurant. Bench seats too low for the tables to make dining easy.

Spoiled by the reasons sated below.

Checked out on the Monday morning.(11.00 am) Travelled home, then noticed we were missing some clothes as the wardrobe door is in place when the bathroom on is open.......called the Hotel at 18.00.....only 7 hours later....to report this and they indicated they would look and get back to me in the morning. After calling them again on numerous occasions finally got through to the appropriate people, I also emailed with the items we had forgotten to take. They Hotel were adamant that they were not there and we know 100% that they were. The items had some value as they were designer and since then there have been another couple of items that we have noticed missing and last place we had them was at the Hampton by Hilton at Hamilton Park. Again the House Keeper and Reception Staff have washed their hands of this an with emails from myself suggesting that if they are returned that would be the end of the matter. We have travelled to many locations all over the World and this is the first time that such "DISHONESTY".........SO PLEASE BEWARE.... ** KEEP YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS LOCKED AWAY AND PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BY MISTAKE **

Property was quiet , comfortable

Breakfast was very overcrowded and was a challenge as I’m severely visually impaired was difficult in room to make warm drink was no spoon just sticks stayed here a few times and love this hotel but think could do more to make things more easier

• no hot chocolate in the room • a lot of noise in hallway from other guests during the night (not hotels fault but this resulted in us getting very very little sleep) • great tv but remote was broken • dirty lamp in room and sink was also not very clean

Overall a lovely stay, great location, great service and will definitely stay again.

The rooms were lovely, very comfortable, clean. Good quality bedding, pillows etc. It was a little noisy with kids running down corridors but soon quietened down after 10pm. Fantastic view over the racecourse from the bar and rooms facing the racecourse. Easy parking right in front of the hotel. Shopping malls a short drive away. Easy check-in and check-outs Great location just off the motorway.

Breakfast was a little chaotic and very noisy, but it was a busy Sunday morning. Staff struggled to keep up with demand for cutlery, water for the coffee machines etc. Best to avoid the busiest 0900-1000 time if you can. The hotel does claim to be dog-friendly but they do ask you to sign up to a lengthy page of rules including the requirement to find an alternative accommodation for the dog if problems arise. I can only assume this is as a result of previous problems but it didn't feel very 'friendly' when checking in. TV way too big for the room - struggled to focus as you couldn't avoid being sat too near the TV. Surprised by the absence of a timer option on the TV. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed when it got busy - no visible signs of a manager
