Very pleased! We had a total of 16 adults one day & 13 of those overnight. Plenty of room for all and the yard was huge. We had room for cornhole boards, can jam, and practicing disc golf. The large deck and fire-pit were a hit with everyone. Lots of extras included that helped save money,(firewood & coffee) just to name a few.

Plenty of room, really cool little community with a bar in walking distance, little pop up markets and many options for outdoor and indoor active games with a group. We will definitely be using this place again!

We did a bachelorette party here and it was perfect! Plenty of room both indoors and outdoors for activities. Very pretty view of the lake and the host was immediately responsive to any question I had before or during the stay. Definitely recommend!

We booked this for a family reunion of 20 to 25 people. It was perfect. Didn't realize how well it was going to suit us until we got there and saw the scope of the property and what all was available. It was a very nice place and well maintained. Thank you for having a place that gave us more great memories!

Best Family Reunion by far
This location was picked for a family reunion. We had family from Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania. It was the perfect reunion and everyone enjoyed themselves. We played cornhole, went on the canoes, fished and just relaxed on the deck. Highly recommended.

Perfect Retreat Spot
Close to the city but has the far away feeling. Fishing, canoeing, games, etc… Property is perfect for a retreat or family reunion. Heading back again nxt Summer.

Bad Storm
We actually never got to stay at this house. A very bad and destructive storm came through the night before we arrived and took out a tree and an electric pole for the area. As a result, there was no power and we had to make other arrangements. The house and amenities were great but were not able to stay. The owners were wonderful and worked with us all they could. I highly recommend this place and if I get a chance I will return.

Excellent extended family getaway!
Our three generations of extended family really enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of outdoor seating for eating as a group and for enjoying the yard and the view of the lake. We brought our own kayaks to explore the lake on both sides of the bridge. The kitchen was small-ish but had everything we needed. The house was very clean and had plenty of gathering spaces too. The shower house was easily accessible for extra restrooms. It was interesting to explore the grounds of the complex. We didn't try the restaurant, but the kids did play at the arcade. Be aware that the little kids' playground needs some repairs. (The kids can still play, but definitely under adult supervision.) We used the house as a home base for visiting Chilo Lock 34 Park at the Ohio River and also East Fork State Park beach.

Thanksgiving Tradition
This is the second year our extended family has met at this property, and the experience was again wonderful. We had plenty of sleeping space, and comfy areas to relax together after using the indoor athletic facility. The setting on the lake is beautiful - even though it was too cold to use the canoes, we used the background for family photos. The owner is very responsive to any questions, and we recommend the property highly, especially for extended families with lots of kids!

Family Get Together
The amenities were great, the kids enjoyed canoeing, playing corn hole and the batting cages. We enjoyed the deck and the beautiful view. We had a couple issues upon arrival, but Pamela was very accommodating in trying to rectify the problems. We did not understand that we would be sharing the shower house and canoes with another family.

Family Reunion
Rented the property for a family reunion ( ages 2-81). We had a great time, and already reserved for next year while we were still there. Very relaxing time. Everything was as described in the listing. Owner was more than responsive to any questions we had, and quickly addressed a couple minor issues we brought to her attention.

Very fun and relaxing visit.
It was a great experience. Mrs. Pamela is an awesome host. She communicates very well and did a great job explaining all the details about the house. The place is amazing especially when you need a place to entertain a decent size group. We had about 24 people, that was 4 adults, 2 college students, my five year old daughter and the rest were teens. Everyone loved the place. So much to do. When I organize trips like this I like to find places that will entertain my group. It did not disappoint. From sitting out on the deck in the evening talking, watching the teens fish and canoeing in the pond. Grilling out in the back yard and plenty of group card games etc. It was a wonderful experience and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We wanted a place to stay while getting together with family. This home had so much space to hold everyone comfortably. The eight kids loved being in the basement in the bunks! There is plenty to do here and we loved checking out the property. We also enjoyed canoeing on the lake, fishing in the pond, and cooking out on the patio. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. This home is an easy 75 minute drive to the Ark Encounter which we very much enjoyed as well.Pamela was so nice with the quick tour of the home and excellent with the communication overall. Thank you so much.

This property provided good, basic housing for our group. The opportunity to spend time utilizing all the available recreational spaces was much appreciated by our group. We had beautiful weather, wonderful campfires each night after a day full of activities. We would bring another group in the future.

Responsive and friendly owners with a beautiful place!
What a beautiful place to stay. We had plenty of room to run around outside. We enjoyed fishing, badminton and our other family favorite activities. The campfire site was perfect to sit by and look at the stars. We were a large group but each family was able to have a bedroom and the kids loved the bunk beds. Pamela was great to work with answering questions quickly and able to provide help when needed. The families are already talking about wanting to go back next fall.

Absolutely Perfect!
This property is fabulous! House was nice with lots of space! There was 20 of us and everyone seemed to be very comfortable! We didn’t spend a ton of time inside but everything we needed was there for us! The outdoor space is awesome!! Tons of space to hang out and the grill area was top notch. Pam was great! Would not hesitate to stay there again and spend more time enjoying everything the property has to offer!

So much to do not enough time!
Stayed here for my Bachelorette and it’s a Beautiful home and property! I honestly don’t think the pictures do the place justice. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, s’mores by the fire, the complex, playing card games and Bachelorette games in the house with plenty of room and we had 13 people! The property was big enough so we felt we had privacy while out back and on the lake.
Pamela was amazing!
-Great with corresponding; replied quickly!
- Walked us through the rental showing us where everything was.
- Happily answered any questions we had.
-Quickly brought some extra items (extension cord, fan) from down the road.
The only issue we had was due to a mistake made by the cleaning crew. But when I texted Pamela and told her she was at the property to take care of it within 10 minutes.
We all had a great time and loved all the different activities!
