Lieber in ein Hostel mit Schlafsaal, als hierher.

Es war sauber und wir durften unser Gepäck unproblematisch früher dort abstellen.

Alles sehr unpersönlich und klein. Die Abläufe sind durchgestylt, aber nicht unbedingt sofort logisch. Sehr kleines Bett, Klotür ging nicht richtig zu, Kontakt zu der Vermietung anstrengend, versprochene Nachrichten wurden nicht geschickt Ausnahme: Andres, der hat sich sehr bemüht und geholfen.

Proceso fácil de entrada al no tener recepción. El check-in es electrónico y muy rápido. Habitación cómoda y limpia.

El mando se quedó sin pilas, pero el staff lo solucionó muy rápido y nos trajeron nuevas.

Upon arriving at the mini hotel late in the evening the code which was given to us to open the door did not work. I called their support, Jesus who was very helpful but after an hour of waiting we were told we could stay at a propety near by cause they were unable to unlock the room. We were told we'd be contacted in the morning about gaining access into our originally booked room. I was working from the temporary accomodation and without any warning or knock a cleaning lady entered the room [this is not ok]. I dont know who got a bigger fright but she did not speak english but called the receptionist from Olala mini hotel who in turn messaged me. They said they tried calling me which is not true as I had my phone on me. I was told i need to leave the room because other people would be checking in. I told them I'm working and need confirmation that I would have access to my original room. They confirmed saying the problem was resolved. When went to the mini hotel someone was still trying to fix the door, so no I could not work from my room but from the corridor while they were trying to fix the problem. 30-45mins later (while I was still in my meeting) they said they can't fix the keypad but would give us a physical key instead. I eventually was able to enter my room and work from there. I was given an apology basket containing wine and chocolate which is a nice gesture but not enough when it interfers with work. The next day during my hour long lunch break I deceided to walk around the neighbourhood. When I wanted to enter the hotel from the main entrance the code they provided me with did not work, luckily there was a cleaning staff who about after 5mins opened the door for me and advised me contact their whatsapp number for a new code. The staff are nice and the rooms are clean but this was just too much additional stress for a work vacation.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! such complicated steps for booking, paying and confirm the fu*k reservation and when I got in the place the code just didn't work, there was no YALE button on the keypad and no one to help us! I had to stay on the street for hours and then go sleep in the car!! THIS IS PROBABLY A FAKE HOTEL! and I asked for refund and they only gived me parcial refund... like WHAT?! I want all my money back, and now!

Good place to stay, close to metro station

The place was clean and close to a metro station. They also provided with water bottles, tea and coffee. There is AC and heating as well. I was expecting twin beds but I may have read it wrong, got a bed for 2 people instead.

There was a strange lighting right behind the bed, near the head, which kept on blinking every few seconds. Had to figure out how to turn that off but even then, it kept blinking every 2 min or so.

It was clean and quiet.

The Check in process was all online, their links to security deposit didn't work, the code to the room door wasn't correct. It took > 1.5 hours to get in and settled. Horrible experience.

Not good enough.

Location is good. I stayed at Carrer de Montseny 72, which is smack in the middle between Torrassa and Santa Eulalia metro stations. Torrassa red line serves city center and the orange line brings you to the airport (El Prat) which is super handy. Area is quiet, prices are not a ripoff.

Wifi is abysmal. I know android devices are prone to not connecting at times. I did as much troubleshooting as i could and while i could connect to any wifi within city center, olala homes wifi is nonexistent. Helpdesk staff are very hands on and respond to requests promptly. Cleanliness could be better, also. I found a huge lump of long black hair under my bed. The property advertises itself as fully equipped kitchen and yet nobody could supply me a kettle to make tea. Deplorable. Booking.com include breakfast option for this room which is false advertising. Both the website and booking.com app don't acknowledge payment so be sure to double and triple check with Olala reps to avoid overpayment.

The place was great. Service was great.

Expect 1 hour to fill the forms to be able to get in. You need a app, you passports, Ids, to pay the Barcelona taxes... You need a phone and internet connection for sure.

Great for the price

The room was very clean and modern. The AC works perfectly. And the room is not too far from transports and shops Although I was a bit afraid with previous comment, we haven't been bothered by any noise, and building/room was quite secure.

Very strong damp smell (unless you leave the AC on all the day😕) Pillows need to be changed as they're very smelly (damp again)

It’s a nice place, easy to get to the city center.

The building with the electronic locks is not safe, my last night there the main door was opened by drug users and prostitutes that left the waiting room and the bathroom on the hallway filthy dirty. I felt very unsafe and the lady that was there on the other room was in shock when I met her in the morning I was leaving.

Very good

Nice room, clean, cozy terasse to sit outside, kitchen area available to use. Good customer service, responds rather quickly in the chat or there is a possibility to call.

One day we had an issue with unlocking the doors, as it did not open after inserting the code, customer service helped but we had to wait 40 min for staff to come and fix the door. They offered to buy us coffee in the time we were waiting.

I would say it’s fairly worth the price. But I would advise people not to underestimate how loud it can get.

The room and facilities were nice and modern. The location is great. It’s very close to subway stations. I also had a broken door knob they fixed it very quickly.

I was there for 16 days and as other people have pointed out while you can’t blame the hotel for the behavior of other guests the truth of the matter is that a lot of people who stay at this hotel do not have respect for others. Most nights people would be extremely loud. Also in my room in particular I could hear water running very loudly. I had people take and throw out my food in the fridge. I did get one free cleaning but that was in 16 days. It was also quite limiting to only be able to cook with a microwave. Their manual was also confusing it said I should have a physical key or key within in an app. But when I contacted them they told me I didn’t need it despite several manuals saying it and a person I talked to on their site telling me it as well. It was just a bit confusing.

Bad

I’m complaining because this hotel couldn’t take responsibility in anything, we lost time from our trip to fix problems that were supposed to be fixed by them, immediately. We had problems with the door, that was broken and we had to wait 2 hours to be fixed. I’m still missing money from them and I want a refund for the troubles they cost us.
