The place was exactly as described and very clean! Across the street is an Aldi & Shop Rite. Nearby on JFK Boulevard is a bus stop that has a shuttle to NYC Port Authority for $3.50 (Gate 51). You can save 50 cents on tickets if you buy them at Port Authority Window 23. The location was quiet and convenient, and the owner definitely took pains to ensure everything was perfect and was very nice when we spoke. Would stay here again.

Very clean home with everything you would need ( and more) .Handy for NJ transit to and from NYC and also to the riverside at Hoboken if you want to use the light railway.

John's VRBO was clean, comfortable and extremely convenient for catching the bus into Port Authority each day. It is probably less than a quarter mile walk up to the bus stop. The bus comes frequently and is very easy to use once you know you are looking for #51, which is not a city bus but apparently a private company. Once you are on the bus it's about a 15 minute ride to P.A.
The bed was comfortable, bathroom was well equipped and having an extra half bath was handy. The kitchen is spacious with good appliances. It is not necessarily equipped for doing a lot of cooking but has the basics in regard to pots, pans and utensils.
Having both Aldi and Shop-Rite nearby was great. Aldi is easily walkable by taking the path slightly down the street that goes through the fence and into the Aldi parking lot.
The designated off-street parking is a real benefit as well.
Be aware that you will find many symbols of Eastern religion in the apartment. We were not quite prepared for that.
We would rent this apartment again if we return to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here and ease with which we were able to get to and from the city! The home was clean, contained all listed amenities and more. The host was extremely generous with starting supplies such as coffee so there was no immediate rush run out once we arrived. Helpful tip, if ordering Uber , it’s quickest to order from the Starbucks as that is where they will go anyway. The street was quiet, the area safe, and so easy to get to the city!

John was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. It was a large and eclectic loft. The shower/tub upstairs was a little "unique", however the water was hot and constant. The kitchen had all the essentials. We travelled into Manhattan and it was a nearby bus stop and direct to the main Port Authority terminal. (25 minutes).

Literally perfect! Will 100% be back!!! ❤️❤️

Otherwise as shown and very spacious.

What a gem in North Bergen. This property was perfect for our girls trip to NYC. A short walk to bus stop to begin our NYC adventures. There’s a Starbucks and shopping across the street. So it was a quick walk to get snacks for our stay.
Condo is gorgeous with a very zen feel. Kitchen had everything we needed. Laundry room came in handy. TVs and hangout areas were amazing.
Host was kind and communicative. I’m definitely booking this spot again. Though next time we will explore New Bergen and the great spots in New Jersey.

We enjoyed this Condo when we were on our NY vacation. It is 20 minutes away to port authority but a lot of cheaper than stay in NY. Bus stop is right at the corner of the street and there are a lot of them you can take.
Condo self is Clean and roomy, a beautiful place. My son said it is a nice place to relax after a long day of walking.

The property is well maintained and layout out nicely. The shower needs a new setup, outside of that. I would stay again.

It‘s a nice and clean flat with individual character. Unfortunately it‘s one big room, no separate sleeping rooms. Anyway we did not miss anything. Supermarket, Starbucks and bus station are nearby.

This is a great city property which we found very clean and tidy. The property has parking and the local area has a Supermarket and a Pizza Hut within a 3 minute walk.
Buses to the Time Square area only take 10-15 minutes and are very frequent.
The apartment is large and open plan with a bedroom on the mezzanine level and another on the ground level.
We were a family of 4 with 2 children and had no space issues.
You should note that this is someones private residence and there are personal items within the property. We did not find this an issue at all.
Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place, very comfortable. The host was very prompt in answering questions and assisting in general questions about the area and transportation. We stayed in North Bergen, but spent the majority of our time in New York which was about 15 minute commute. Away from New York to rest and relax, but close enough for enjoyment!

GREAT. - FANTASTIC lodging and location. The condo was spacious and looked as if it was recently updated. The extra bonus was the free parking space.

We had a great 4 nights in the loft style apartment in New Jersey. Our host was very communitive and responded quickly to our request. For example, he was able to reprogram the Nest thermostat to reduce the heat overnight to make sleeping in the loft bedroom more comfortable The kitchen, sleeping, dining, and gathering areas were great. We cooked Thanksgiving pies in the oven. The shower in the bathroom was a little weak. We drove and the parking space was great. The neighborhood was quiet with easy access to grocery stores and the bus to NYC. For our second day in NYC, we drove 10 minutes to the Weehawken ferry terminal and crossed to Hudson Yards. The El Salvadorian restaurant on 24th Street (Gusto's ?) was great.

We loved this sweet loft space just a tunnel away from NYC. It was clean, spacious and came with a parking space! Hope you can experience it for yourself.

The property was amazing. Incredibly clean and very spacious. Great location and peaceful. The owner, John, was responsive and I would give him 12 stars if I was able to :)

This loft is spacious, high ceilings and open floor plan, 4 TV’s. Welcome book had good information.
3 blocks to a shuttle but always felt safe walking. Starbucks and grocery store just across the street.
Kitchen had a jumble of pots and pans, miss matched dishes, and not a single grain of salt or pepper but plenty of coffee options.
Felt like we were living in someone else’s personal space, half-used bottle of Listerine mouth wash and used tube of toothpaste and shampoo and conditioner. Sheet covering and screened off personal stuff and No Admittance signs plastered everywhere, and personal pictures and certificates made us feel we were intruding in someone else’s personal space. Clear totes & cubies tucked all over the place with person stuff. Just kind of felt we were living in someone’s house without their permission. There were installation packets hanging from the skylights in the loft bedroom, UPC labels on the stair balusters, paint and caulking drips on the walls and fixtures and a bathroom fan clover held up with double stick tape and the original safety label on the toilet tank was half torn off. Baseboards, especially in the bathrooms, needed a good cleaning which kind of made us wonder what else should have been cleaned. We found clothes still in the dryer, and when we dared look, found they were just the previous tenant’s clean sheets and towels.
We should have looked closer at the photos because the only full bath in the loft had a very small main mirror over the sink (there was another full one on the back of the door) but hard for three women to get ready, the only rack to hang towels was an over the door which would only hold three, so our towels didn’t ever really dry. The shower, shown in the photos, has this weird overhang into the tub area so if you are taller than 5’ 8” you will have to lean to the right to stand up straight and not hit your shoulder. And to get a hot shower you will want to take the second shower or let the water run for about five minutes on full hot and leave it there. Also, most all the drains were very slow, and the toilet seats desperately needed to be tightened.
All in all, we had a comfortable stay since we just slept here, it was just weird living in someone else’s stuff.

Convenient location for our vacation plans which included an event at Meadowlands Expo Center and touring New York City.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is in terrific shape and the location is ideal because of its proximity to the bus and being next door to Starbucks and a grocery store. Thanks for letting us rent it!!

Really enjoyed being able to get out of the hustle of the city! Ordered pizza and garlic cheese rolls from Napolini…. Amazing! John was very quick to respond to the few questions we had during our stay! Highly recommend this apartment!

When we arrived after our long drive and we were pleasantly surprise on the spaciousness of the loft. It was well cared for and very clean! We enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area. It was great to have a guaranteed parking space to come back to and rest after a busy day in The City. The beds were comfy and what a luxury to have two bathrooms, for four people. The instructions were clear to gain access to the loft and our host answered our questions quickly, through text. Our experience in the New York / New Jersey wouldn't have been as fun without being able to come back to this great loft. Top notch, would highly recommend!

Beautiful property with off street parking

Perfect place for a NYC vacation
The condo was huge, beautiful and perfect. Exactly as pictured. I stayed with my 17yo and 15yo daughters during a trip to NYC. They loved the loft bedroom, and I had my own space downstairs. 1.5 bathrooms made it nice for getting ready in the mornings. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, 3 TV’s and Hey Google made for appropriate entertainment. The Ring doorbell and deadbolts made us feel safe. A detailed notebook and easy communication with the owner helped us quickly acclimate and find our way around. A 5 minute walk got us on a 10minute bus ride to downtown Manhattan… and they come by so frequently you barely had to wait. Note that coming back after 10:30pm - they only run about once an hour from the downtown depot…. Free parking off street, grocery store a short walk away, and owner hospitality were great bonuses. All this made it an outstanding choice compared to the overpriced tiny options in the city. I highly recommend!!!
