The hosts were super nice and welcoming. The location is a great spot. Close to downtown but also away from the hustle nd bustle. We sat on the deck attached to the room and saw wildlife. Mary even remembered I told her it was our anniversary trip. anniversahusbabirthday

The hostess, Mary, was warm and inviting. She gave us a quick orientation on the property and provided us with excellent customer service - from recommending local places to eat to making sure we had whatever we needed. She even went out of her way to print documents we needed in a timely manner that came to us via email. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed spending our evenings on our private patio. This is a perfect location for a couple! Be advised there is no TV, but we didn't need one! If you have a stay in Ashville, we HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is so much better than a hotel!!! 5 stars all the way.

Loved loved loved the accommodations. Everything was so well maintained. It was quiet and private and had all of the amenities, including your own porch with patio furniture and a lovely view. I walked downtown without a problem in about 20 minutes. I’ve been to Asheville before but this is so much nicer than a hotel. Would highly recommend. Cheers!

My daughter (18) and I spent 4 nights at Mary’s place in Asheville and we loved the clean, cozy space. We had privacy to come and go as we wanted, but Mary was available to answer questions and make recommendations to enhance our stay. The room was lovely and we appreciated the spa-like shower. It was a perfect location for us- just a short drive to downtown Asheville. We highly recommend the Gray Line trolley tour and a tour of The Biltmore Estate while you’re in Asheville!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We really enjoyed the room and park-like setting within 1 mile of amenities. Mary was very nice and responsive, plus her check-in instructions were clear. We appreciated the personal touches within the room: fresh cut daffodils and buds in vases, and beverages in the mini fridge. The space was clean and well appointed. We look forward to returning when the garden is in full bloom.

We enjoyed our stay in Asheville here. There was not much time spent at the guest room as we had exploring to do, but it was very quiet and clean. Mary was very nice and showed us everything we needed to know about the property.

This was a perfect one-bedroom place to sleep and regroup after our busy day trips in Asheville. Mary was super friendly and a conscientious host.
It is located very conveniently to downtown and is a very nice property which I am sure looks exceptional later in the spring when foliage comes out.
We would stay here again if the opportunity allows it.

I loved the property. So close to downtown, but so serine it is as though you're far away. The gardens are lovely and relaxing. The room is cute and comfortable. Great places to eat in Five Points also if you want to eat somewhere close. We will return!

Mary provides her guests with SUCH a beautiful and welcoming stay. We were down visiting from NY for a wedding and extended our stay for a mini vacation. This property far exceeded our expectations and was perfectly located to all we needed - we wanted to stay longer :) Mary made herself accessible for anything we needed - but we needed nothing, as all the details were taken care of. We absolutely cannot wait to visit Mary and Asheville again. Oh and be sure to check out the magnificent giant magnolia tree when you stay here - The grounds are a vacation in itself!

This is a decent sized, well designed and thoughtfully appointed en suite room attached to a house on a lovely property. It is close to downtown Asheville and easily accessible to the highway, but feels peacefully remote and out of the way. It fit our needs perfectly. Mary was a wonderful host, very responsive and responsible.

My wife a I visited for two nights… Mary and her family are amazing hosts and really just warm and incredibly cool people! Their home is stunning…the grounds/gardens guests are privileged to experience are simply inspirational. STUNNING. A full on Firefly light show happened after the sun went down. Sitting on the beautiful private porch and experiencing this with a glass of wine is something we won’t soon forget. It’s hard to leave lol. Thanks so much for a memorable AVL weekend. -The Cannons
