About this house rental
This charming one bed coastal cottage is the perfect couple’s retreat. Interiors are beautiful with exposed stone walls and a cosy open plan living space. Upstairs there’s a lovely double bedroom with Orla Keily bedding and a smart ensuite. Step outside and relax on the deck with a glass of fizz and take in the sea views or head to one of the cafes and just chill.
It’s just a short walk down a flight of 15 steps into Mumbles, this delightful coastal village is home to some excellent boutiques, stylish shops, galleries and cafes. Further afield, drive along the Gower Peninsular and step back in time with a visit to one of the many castles, stroll along the coastal paths and stop off at one of the fabulous beaches along the way.
Size: sleeps 2 in 1 bedrooms Beds: 1 x double bed Accommodation Living room/diner: soft-seating, TV/DVD player. Dining table and 2 chairs Kitchen: Electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a microwave. Cloakroom: WC and wash hand basin.
First Floor - accessed via a steep staircase Bedroom 1: double bed, bedside furniture, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe. Bathroom: bath, wash hand basin, WC and a shower cubicle.
Entertainment: TV/DVD player, TV cabinet, books and games. Outside: decked sun-terrace, leading off kitchen with garden furniture and partial sea-view. General: changeover day Friday. Gas CH. Bed linen & towels provided. WiFi. 4 star rating. Pets: sorry, no pets. Accidental Damage Deposit: you may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for this property. Where applicable we will contact you in good time before your holiday with further details and to take payment. Notes: no smoking. The cottage is accessed via 15 stone steps to the front door.
Parking: The parking permit is for the foreshore car park strip running along side the promenade, it is accessed from the car park entrance opposite The Carlton Hotel, follow the car park to the very end where you will see a yellow sign saying 'Southend Car Park', the entrance to your carpark is to the left of the sign over the yellow grid floor markings, between the stone walls on the left, the parking is just on the right, you exit towards the car park opposite The George. (The permit is not for The George car park or the car park opposite The George). Please can you contact Homeowner on [email protected] to request parking permit £25 per week

Excellent hosts with great communication. The only problem we had was the bed was a bit small but everything else was great

The cottage had everything we would have at home, including a teapot, and it was very clean. The location was on the doorstep of a lot of places to visit.

Cosy, clean and nicely decorated. It had plenty of storage and all the essential facilities. Great location within 5 minutes walk of several restaurants. Easy parking.

Lovely character cottage, well equipped & with a small outside space. Great location for exploring the Mumbles & the Gower. Loads of great bars & restaurants a few minutes walk away & recommend The Pilot for a good beer!
