4.5
The property was ideal for us as we were traveling with a dog and it has a small enclosed garden and there is a gravel beach on the lake a ten minute walk away. Property was very clean, lovely bed linen and towels provided and it has well equipped kitchen. Loads of wardrobe and cupboard space. Very peaceful and safe area. Firewood provided for the fire was a nice touch.
Great value pizza and pasta place, 3 minute walk, well stocked supermarket, 5 minute walk.
Not really a negative, but the television has no English channels, so if you travel with children (it would be great place for a family with young children to stay) they would need some alternative entertainment!
Wifi signal is weak, but Maura the host is aware of this and is working on it.
The village of Gravedona doesn’t have much choice for dining (maybe more open in the summer) or places to see. You definitely need a car.

We already had communication with Maura (the host) via WhatsApp some days before. We were there on the approx agreed arrival time for the key and to get instructions about the apartment and some information about the town.
The appartement was great, clean and perfect
for a family of 4 to 5 persons. It also had a nice outside garden space as well and we felt us at home.
The location is very good, close to the lake, town and the grocery store. A perfect stay if you enjoy walking, mountainbiking, different water sports or if you just want to relax.
Beside Gravedona, also the other towns/ beaches of Dongo, Domaso and Colico were nice to visit. In Colico you also have a nice large shopping mall, it’s called Fuentes. Close by there you also have a nice go-kart track which we visited and that was really fun. Milano city takes only 1,5 hours from Colico train station.
Enjoy!
