About this cottage rental
Quaint 2 BR, 1 BA, cottage located on Mayo Beach. Cottage is part of the desirable Wellfleeter Condominium Complex located at the end of Mayo Beach. This quaint cottage has a kitchen-dinning area with granite counter tops, a living room with an open out couch, two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. Waterviews from the bedroom with the queen size bed. The bathroom features a granite counter top with a stand up shower. There is a stackable washer and dryer for your use in the cottage. Amenities in this rental include: Sheets, pillow's, blankets, towel's (including beach towels), flat screen tv's with DVD player's and Wireless Internet Service. There are 20 cottages located on the Wellfleeter property. There is a staircase on the Wellfleeter property which leads down to a 400 foot private beach area. Walking distance to the following is about a 10 -15 minutes: center of town, public tennis courts, community playground, local restaurants, live theatre and all of the Wellfleet Harbor's amenities. It is a 10 minute car ride to Wellfleet's fresh water ponds and spectacular ocean side beaches.

Our family of 3 (including 2 year old) had a great stay. The cottage is cozy, especially the primary bedroom and dining area, but the location is great just steps from the beach. There were a few cleanliness issues and minor inconveniences (e.g. no bath soap provided) but didn't have a major impact on our enjoyment. Stacey was quick to respond to questions and also was kind enough to make some date adjustments when a conflict came up with original dates.

This cute and cozy cottage had everything our group of 4 adults needed for a wonderful stay in Wellfleet. It was very clean upon arrival, the owner answered our couple of questions within a day, and the location provided easy access to our favorite Wellfleet destinations - the town landing, the pier, Frying Pan gallery, Bookstore Restaurant, and Wellfleet Center with its many galleries, shops, and restaurants. We will be back again!

This is our second time at the properties. The little cottages are great and come with everything you need. The washer and dryer are a wonderful add to this property! Check in and out are easy too. We do love it here. Yet, the place is pricey (getting too pricey IMHO), but that is expected if you want to stay close to the water. Note that Mayo Beach is great for kids as it is warm with little to no waves. But if you want to stay on a true beach with plentiful white sand and waves, this is not the place for you. We will be staying somewhere else next year as Mayo Beach is just so-so for us and we found ourselves driving to other beaches for our excursions. But this place is truly wonderful if you want a place on the water, safe and good for kiddie swimming! We made wonderful memories here and are thankful for the ability to rent such a great cottage!

The cottage was quaint, clean, well appointed. About sixty seconds to be on the beach. The locale is peaceful and beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Consistently Good
I can't honestly remember how many times we have stayed with Stacey at her little house by the beach. At least 4, maybe 8 times?? It's always the same, well placed, well stocked, small but conmfortable with a host that cares about you. During covid we changed and cnacelled our plans a few times which turned out to be fine - Stacey took good care of us/ thanks

Cozy cottage by the sea
This was our second time renting this lovely cottage. It's cozy, clean, comfortable for our family of 4. Wellfleet is a great town with lots to offer for activities and plenty of relaxation. A wonderful experience!

Perfect use of space
We (two adults, two kids age 9 & 11) were here only for two nights, but wish it could’ve been longer. The owners made the most of every single inch of this space. The couch and beds are very comfortable and the living space invited cozy relaxation. We enjoyed having the beach steps away. The location is ideal if you want to be close to town, which we did. This cottage was perfect for a long weekend near our favorite restaurants and walks. Best for people who are not looking to cook a lot of meals and eat as a family - kitchen is well-appointed but eating space is tight. Totally met our purposes. Will look to come back!

Great location and facilities
The only hitch was finding the key when we checked in: it was behind kitchen door, not on the table as expected. Other than that, everything was as listed. Very agreeable neighbors in other cottages were helpful. You can swim easily, watch the sunset, get quickly to bike trails, Provincetown, etc.

Piece of paradise
Great location and great times had by all! The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable. It does say they provide sheets and towels (including beach towels) but there were only 3 towels for bathing and 2 for the beach, which meant constant laundry. The only other negative was there was no hose outside for rinsing but our neighbor let us use theirs! Otherwise, it was great to have a/c in the cottage. We dodged Hurricane Henry and had absolutely beautiful weather. We easily biked to the pier for dinner/ice cream. The beach there is awesome and shark-free. Thanks for letting us share your property!

Happy days by Wellfleet bay
The cottage was spotless, charming, well stocked and just steps from Wellfleet bay. The only deficit was a lack of explanatory material, as found in all other rentals, about the cottage (TV) and the condo community, such as where to put garbage.

This is a beautiful cottage with charm and a perfect harbor location! The cottage is comfortable and has many nice touches. We had a couple of questions about the property and Stacey, the owner got back to us right away. It was a terrific stay!

Wonderful week in Wellfleet
Overall our family just spent a wonder week in Wellfleet! The cottage is in a cute condo community with plenty of other families. It’s so close to Mayo beach which is calm and warm so it was perfect for our toddlers! Bonus directly across from Mayo is a wonderful new playground, skate park, basketball and tennis courts so it was paradise for the kids! Also walking distance to Mac’s for Cape fair and ice cream, the Bookstore and Pearl restaurants! The cottage was fairly small but had everything you could want! Stacey the property owner was quick to respond and our neighbors mentioned they have rented from her for years and have always also found her to be a great property host. There were a few outlets and ceiling fans that did not work but honestly that was no big deal at all.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we will look to book again be very soon!

What a great area and quiet beach!
The cottage is quaint and so cute! It’s like 500 feet to the stairs leading the the beach. The stairs are sturdy with a railing, but steep. The beach is quiet and the water so warm. The little town of Wellfleet has some great shops and restaurants and ice cream. Plenty to do… I would absolutely book another stay!

Great location, lovely private beach
We stayed here in June of this year too, and it was just as lovely as last time - the tide schedule had changed so our swim times in the bay were later in the day, which worked out well - we would go to one of the outer beaches in the morning, and come back for a swim on our private beach in the afternoons. This is a great place for kids because the water on the bay side is calm, warm and shark-free. The house can get very hot, but there are two A/C units that work very well to keep things cool. Make sure to bring water shoes for the beach, because there a lot of rocks and shells. We will definitely be back next summer.

Excellent location and home
We had an amazing time in Wellfleet! The home was beautiful, clean and exactly what we expected. It was in the perfect location - close to the beach, playground and restaurants! The owners were amazing and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Wellfleet!

Neat & Tidy
very intelligent use of small space; everything we needed, including amenities we hadn't expected. Only problem is probably our fault; my wife, who found it, thought it was facing the beach and water - not a road. Otherwise: excellent.

Beautiful socially distant week
My small family of three (me, husband, our almost 4 year old) really enjoyed our time in Stacey's cottage. All the renters/owners in the community were respectful and friendly. We enjoyed the little private beach and the amenities of the cottage. THank you for a beahtiful week!

Great location, wonderful stay
This was a wonderful beach vacation for us! We discovered on the first day that water shoes were essential for using the private beach (which truly is less than 400 feet away), but that was the only blocker we had to a truly great vacation, and we were able to buy water shoes at a gift shop ten minutes away. The water at Mayo Beach is warm and calm, being on the Bay, and we were able to swim at high tide every day (and see lots of shells and crabs at low tide). The house is small but immaculate, perfectly stocked, well-cooled with the portable AC units, and the Wellfleeter Condo village is quiet and peaceful. The first thing we did upon the end of our stay was to check when it was next available. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely beach house!

September getaway
We had a pleasant stay in this cute and comfortable cottage. It was steps away from a private bayside beach and conveniently located near town for easy access to shopping and restaurants. Ocean beaches were a short drive away. Would definitely return to this property the next time we need a beach vacation!

The cottage was lovely and very clean. The access to the beach was unbelievably close and the beach was some of the prettiest views I have ever seen.

Small but cozy
Stacey’s small but cozy place is highly recommended. It has all you need, except a pitcher and a teapot and perhaps a new queen mattress in the master. Current mattress is very soft. Stacey’s new sectional sofa is outstanding and easy to fall asleep on. We’ll be back.

From early morning walks to sunset on Duck Harbor....just magical.....Easy ride to the ocean side...perfect balance for all generations....I'm saving already to come back to Cottage 4..... Stacey had everything we could have possibly needed...

Super great family spot!
This sweet cottage is expertly decorated and every inch of space is thoughtfully used. Everything you need from beach chairs to a Nespresso machine is in the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and the owner responded immediately to a question about check in (which was super easy) we were thrilled.
