If it is tranquility and stunning location you are looking for then Sandbanks at Garth Hall is a great choice. The Hall is located in private gardens overlooking the coast at Borth y Gest outside Porthmadog, Snowdonia.
The spacious property sleeps 6 and every room offers panoramic sea and mountain views.

The property has a large sitting room and separate dining room, both have high ceilings and full-length windows. The three bedrooms sleep up to six guests and there is a bathroom with wc, a separate shower room and a cloakroom. The property has a private entrance from its own parking area. There is a large private terrace with garden furniture and a spacious private garden. There is wifi, a washing machine, private parking and central heating.

The beaches of Borth y Gest are within walking distance as is the town of Porthmadog. The World Heritage Site is on your doorstep with its famous Ffestiniog Railway. The Italianate village of Portmeirion is 2 miles away and the castles of Harlech, Criccieth and Caernarfon are nearby.

The area offers great walking, cycling, boating, fishing, golf, mountains and beaches.

All the rooms have spectacular sea views.

Bathrooms - The main bathroom with wc is situated close to the bedrooms, and there is also a separate shower room. There is another cloakroom with WC on the ground floor.
Outside: There is a large terrace that offers amazing views of the sea, estuary and mountains,
Gardens - The property has a large private garden that also has a large decking area for BBQs and sunbathing.

Great place in a great location. Ideally situated for visiting North Wales and has lots of amenities within walking distance. There are easily reachable local beaches in Borth y Gest and beyond. The views of the ever changing Glaslyn estuary and the surrounding hills are amazing. There is a large terrace facing the estuary and and an extensive enclosed lawned garden area. Host Gwyn was very helpful in telling us about places to visit and where to eat out.

This is a lovely property in a great spot. The views from every room are amazing! Great to be able to see the Ffestiniog railway crossing the cob. Lots of walks from the door, including into Porthmadog. The outdoor area is lovely. We had a great time.

A lovely property in a stunning location. Our break was hampered by the weather but the host was brilliant at helping with suggestions and quick to sort a couple of minor teething issues. Would recommend and will likely to return in the summer months

Beautiful old house with a magnificent garden and an outstanding view - we very much enjoyed our stay. Our host took extra care that we had everything we needed, answered quickly every question and provided several great hints on the location and the things one might want to do.

We absolutely loved staying here for 2 weeks, it was hard to leave at the end of our holiday. Gwyn, our host took great care of us and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. We really enjoyed finding out about the history of the property and felt privileged to stay somewhere with the most incredible views over the bay. The apartment was large and gave us plenty of space for 4 adults and 1 child. The garden space was also great and we enjoyed sitting out while our son had a run around. Parking was also really handy and easily accommodated our campervan and a car with plenty of room to spare. The location is great for walking into Borth y Gest and Porthmadog. Our son loved crabbing off the harbour wall in Porthmadog which was only a 5 minute walk away. A short drive took us to Black Rock Sands which is one of our favourite beaches. We really hope to stay again next year and would recommend it to anyone looking to escape it all and enjoy what North Wales has to offer. Thank you so much Gwyn!

We really enjoyed staying here. The ever changing view was great. The property itself is light and colourful. Communication with the owner was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed kayaking locally, visiting Portmerion and climbing up Snowdon. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was for a week. It was so hard to draw your eyes from the beautiful sea view immediately from our apartment. The surrounding countryside was also stunning with many beautiful walks.
