About this house rental
This beautiful home offers the best of what North Topsail Beach has to offer! Extraordinary views of the Atlantic Ocean can be enjoyed from every level of the house while you spend your vacation enjoying all of the comforts of home. The house features four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, plenty of space to gather, an outdoor shower and a private beach access directly across the very quiet street. The walkover features a "Dune Deck" with plenty of seating to sit back and enjoy the beautiful views and salty air. When you arrive at A New View, you will find plenty of parking for you and your guests. Three cars will fit under the house with even more parking available on the paved driveway. You enter the home via the wet weather entry, a great place for dropping off your beach gear. The unique reverse floor plan brings you up one flight to the sleeping level of the home first. Here you will find the first of three bedrooms on this level. This room features a queen sized bed with a smart television and private, full bath. The ocean view from this bedroom is extraordinary and can be enjoyed via your own covered deck. The next bedroom down the hallway is a great refuge for the kids! Two sets of twin bunk beds will provide plenty of room for sleepovers and ghostly pirate stories! A sink is located in this room for easy wash up before bed time. Access to the covered deck will let the guests occupying this room enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean as well. The third bedroom on this level is located at the end of the hall. This room features two twin sized beds to cozy up in at the end of the night and a smart TV. Another covered deck access is offered in this room. You'll be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the nearby waves of the Atlantic. Access the full bathroom from within this room or from the hallway. The queen and twin bedrooms offer ceiling fans to keep you cool and comfortable during the summer months. Head up another flight of stairs to A New View's main living area. The spacious open floor plan offers the perfect base for entertaining and catching up with everyone at the end of the day. You'll walk straight into the great room from the top of the stairs. This room offers plenty of seating for you and your guests to relax and enjoy a movie on the flat screen smart TV. Take advantage of the wireless internet to keep you connected while on your beach vacation. A sleep sofa is available to provide extra options should you need it. Access to the upper deck provides you with expansive ocean views and cool ocean breezes. A portion of this deck is covered to provide shade - the balance of the upper deck is open, making it perfect for working on that tan! The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for meal preparation and entertaining. This large kitchen offers ample storage for tucking away groceries and snacks. Bar seating is featured at the island counter adjacent to the dining table, so that all of your guests can sit together for meals. The deck on this level also has a dining table and 4 chairs - morning coffee just tastes better with a bit of salt air! Another deck is located just off the kitchen with a great view of the sound. Since is is western facing, the sunsets are amazing - we call it our Sunset Deck. Opposite the kitchen, you will find the master bedroom. As you enter the master suite, a pocket door allows you to close this area from the living room. The master suite features smart king sized bed, 42" smart TV and ceiling fan. The full sized master bath offers double sinks and a spacious shower. As in all of A New View's bedrooms, access to an ocean facing deck is located in the room. Dogs are welcome with a fee. Bed and bath linens are provided on a complimentary basis.

The property listing was accurate, and April was very kind & welcoming (a goodie bag & even a card on my birthday). The layout was great for our kids. Well decorated and no unnecessary clutter. The kids bunks are in between 2 bedrooms on the middle floor (the sliding door had dark blackout curtains). We enjoyed the open living on the top floor with view of the ocean from every room. We spent more time on the beach because it was so easy to access. Surf fishing was quite slow but did catch/release pinfish, trout, whiting & a blacktip shark (& lots of seaweed from the sandbar at low tide). Overall, well maintained property in an excellent location!

The best part of this place is sitting on the upper deck with a 'glasses' of wine, reading a book while listening to the ocean's never-ending roar. The place was spotless, and a fully stocked kitchenware was even better. When we arrived, there was a bag of snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us. April and Kathy, thank you for sharing and managing our stay.

This very clean home right on the beach is a perfect place for family time. It is well equipped with everything you need. You will feel at home from the moment you arrive and hate to leave at the end of your stay.

This was one of my favorite beach houses I've ever stayed in. It is very inviting and amazing the moment you first walk in. The owner has thought of everything! The welcome bag is really cool and thoughtful-and packed with stuff!! There are games (for kids up to teens and adults). It is nice to have the linens/towels provided! There are even first aid supplies in one of the bathrooms! It is in a perfect location, on a very quiet street-with beautiful views (and sounds) of the ocean. Yet, close enough to Surf City and Sneads Ferry to go have dinner or do some shopping in some cute little shops! The owner is also really nice-and helpful in checking in/out and reminding you of trash day! I really can't say enough about this vacation rental! We hated to leave-and hope to go back again soon!

Once again, our family enjoyed staying at A New View. This is our second time and plan on returning again next summer. It truly has become our "happy place" at the beach. The view of the beach is fantastic. This is the best view of the ocean you can have without paying oceanfront prices! Our private beach access if directly across the road.
The house was spotless and has linens and towels that are plush and soft. I would recommend though, that the downstairs have blackout curtains just as the upstairs already has.
The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the "goodie bag" that was provided. We truly do love this house! Thanks April and Jim for sharing your home.

This was first time to Topsail and love it. The house is just perfect for families and views are amazing. We had the best time hanging out on the beach and just being together. The hosts are awesome

We enjoyed our stay at A New View. Our 13-year-old black lab did have difficulty with all the steps, but it wouldn't have made a difference anywhere else since most beach homes are up on stilts and have several flights of steps. Also, the staircase over the dune and the path to the staircase from the road could have been cleared a little better. With grass growing through the stairs, it was a tripping hazard. The house was very nice, clean and convenient to downtown Surf City.

Always an enjoyable stay at A New View. Well stocked house with everything you could ever need in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Private access to the beach. Awesome views. Home owner is very receptive. Texting reminders to us about trash and recycle pickups are extremely helpful. Can’t say enough about this house and the owners. We love it!

April's home was absolutely amazing. Loved the surrounding quiet neighborhood, private beach access, and close proximity to many local shops and restaurants. Love the beautiful updates to the home. And I thought the pics online were beautiful too! The home was VERY clean and immediately made you feel at home. She provided you with a "welcome" goodie bag that had little extras inside that immediately put the vacation off to a good start. What really made it special was the extra attention to cleanliness, which also added to the comfort and made us feel right at home! It had everything we wanted and more...plenty of room for our party of 8 adults (18 yr+), family games we played every night, including cornhole! Thank you Jim and April for sharing your amazing home with us. We WILL be back! Joelle Reese

Great view and well stocked home
We really enjoyed our week at April’s beach house. Beach access was fantastic and we loved the many outdoor decks and seating options. This was the best stocked vacation rental we’ve stayed at, we enjoyed cornhole under the canopy when it rained and the pet waste station at the door was a nice touch! 10/10

Best Beach Vacation Ever!
Our family of six; grandparents, parents and two children enjoyed A New View so much. Having unobstructed ocean views directly across from house was breathtaking. The private beach access was directly across the street in front of home. It was so convenient. The beach access also had bench seating as a bonus! The home has been updated since the pictures have been taken for Vrbo. It was a lovely surprise; new paint, new flooring, new kitchen and stainless steel appliances.
All beds were comfortable. The king bed did have an extra firm mattress as opposed to the others.
Kitchen was well stocked and had many things other rentals don"t have. The home was bright and airy with lots of windows and sliding glass doors for natural light.
We all agree, this has become our favorite beach rental and will most definitely return next summer.
Thanks April for blocking a week for us next summer! We appreciate all the communication prior and during our stay. The gift bag of goodies was appreciated as well. You left no stone uncovered in all the extras you afford your guests.

We had 6 adults/young adults and our trip was great. There was a very sweet welcome package and many extras to make our stay particularly comfortable. Each bedroom had a great view of the ocean. We love staying in this area and will be back!

Spectacular view and super clean
The house was very clean and the view was beautiful. Kathy was our local contact person and she was amazing and very attentive. We loved the dining room table which had plenty of room for all 8 of us to enjoy our meal.

April has thought of everything to have a well stocked house in the best location. The kitchen has everything you need, there are thoughtful touches in the welcome bag to make our stay as relaxing as possible. April and Kathy are great with communication and we love visiting this house!

What a view from A New View!
Our stay at A New View was everything we expected and more. We have vacationed in various beach homes for over 30 years and this by far is our favorite. The home was beautiful and spotless. April's attention to the little details (treats for our dog, a bottle of wine, starter supplies so that we didn't have to spend our first day at the grocery....) were very much appreciated. The home was recently renovated with top quality furnishings. We loved to closeness of the beach. Our family is looking forward to returning again next year.

We were so impressed of the house itself . Although we have brought our own personal stuff It has a lot of amenities available for us to use. A very clean house, soft linens, and most importantly a beautiful view. The only thing we didn't enjoy is the wave and the cold water . We didn't get to swim.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week. This rental was exactly as advertised. Extremely clean, everything in working order, gorgeous view of the ocean and the owner, along with the property manager, were wonderful to deal with. We give this rental 5 stars because they deserve it.
