Incredible apartment created with passion for detail and beauty in the middle of the old city center. Despite the location it was quiet and peaceful, full of light and serendipity. Exceptionally good bed!
We loved everything! Only the staircase is challenging if you are older or with bad legs, but worth climbing!

The little house was a gem. It had everything I needed and more.

owners were outstandingly nice, generous and helpful. House was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Very well provisioned. Good heating and lighting, with many outlets.
People need to know that the bedroom is up a steep flight of stairs while the only toilet is downstairs.

This is the best property we have ever in stayed on our travels around the world. The interior is
stunning and you walk in to every room just saying “wow”. It is the perfect place for a stay in
Maastricht.
Elmar and Elisabeth are amazing hosts, so welcoming, warm and friendly - simply the best !
Guesthouse Elisabeth truly has the wow factor, the attention to detail throughout shows the love
and dedication gone into making the guesthouse, the perfect place, we didn’t want to leave.
It was extremely quiet, you are tucked away from the street so can’t hear any noise and location is
perfect for exploring, the Vrijhof is just 5 minutes away for Andre Rieu concerts .
Breakfast was delivered every morning in a hamper and was delicious- loved the little faces drawn on
our boiled eggs, a fun and thoughtful touch.
We had well stocked drinks in the fridge and snacks left for us, which were very much appreciated
after a busy day exploring Maastricht and my husband enjoyed a bottle of wine that Elmar kindly
gave him.
The bed is very comfortable, lovely soft towels and the place is immaculately clean.
A very big thank you to Elmar and Elisabeth for a wonderful welcome & for making our stay so special.
They are both so kind and thoughtful, we left as friends.
Maastricht is a beautiful city, totally buzzing, lots of wonderful shops and restaurants, we loved it.
If you are visiting Maastricht then Guesthouse Elisabeth is the only place to stay!
Nothing - it’s faultless

The guest house is beautiful, like a home from home. The breakfasts are great, we opted for the mid price and it really set us up for the day. The hosts feel more like friends and made our holiday perfect. Excited to return.
Nothing. Elisabeth and Elmer went above and beyond for us.

This has to be the loveliest, querkiest place we have ever stayed. The property is just stunning and in a perfect location. It is surrounded by little restaurants and bars (but not noisy at night), minutes away from the Vrijthof and there are so many unusual shops in the surrounding streets The hosts, Elmar and Elisabeth, were just fantastic. They were so kind amd thoughtful and couldn't do enough for us. Even when we arrived late, it wasn't a problem. They had even left a selection of drinks in the fridge, left snacks, sweets, chocolate and wine (we even got a choice of red, white or rose!) and then we came in one evening to find Elisabeth had baked us banana bread - such a lovely thing to do. The whole experience was amazing and their little shop is well worth a look around. We cannot recommend Guesthouse Elisabeth enough and will definitely stay again.
Nothing - it was faultless.

Breakfast is excellent, brought by Elmar to the flat on a tray at the desired time. Very comfortable bed, beautifully decorated flat throughout, with lots of personal touches. Elisabeth and Elmar are simply too nice, always wanting to help and genuinely interested in their guests' well-being.
It didn't bother me, but people should know that the stairs that lead to the upper floor, where the bedroom and bathroom are, are a bit steep.

Elmar and Elisabeth are such lovely, happy and very helpful hosts. The apartment is beautifully appointed and cared for, and the bath tub was a dream. Thoughtful provided breakfast, beer, wine, snacks anything and everything you could possible need for those little extra comforts. Walking distance to everything. A gem of an accommodation, highly recommend.
the fact that we had only booked 2 nights, we could have stayed a week!

Elizabeth & Elmar were exceptional hosts. Refig was stocked with multiple beverages (milk, juice, soda, water,& wine!!) as well as fruit, yogurt, snacks. The accommodations were definitely 5-star with exceptional rain shower, deluxe bed, pillows, towels, toiletries , bath robe, AND each day all items were replenished and dishes washed as if I had newly arrived again...unbelievable!! Hosts were responsive to my messages within 15 min or less & enquired to ensure that I was comfortable. Truly an elegant treasure of a find and unparalleled. They deserve 6 stars!!
I liked everything!!!!! I truly do not know of any manner in which they could improve! They have thought of everything.

This place is amazing. The location is fantastic you walk out of your door and you are in the best eating street in Maastricht. It is quiet and if feels like you are living in a mini apartment. It is amazingly decorated with a classic style with a country feel. The bathroom is large and the both the shower and bath lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Elmar and Elizabeth are amazing hosts they are both so friendly and helpful and leave the fridge well stocked. There are extra treats that are all included. This is the only place we would stay in Maastricht. Our friends came to visit it as well and have already recommended it. The is the best of accommodation i ever booked.
