About this house rental
6 bedroom 3 1/2 bath 4000 sqft colonial style home privately located along greenbelt in prestigious West Vancouver. Conveniently located 10 min from downtown Vancouver, 15 minutes from local ski hills, and 1 hour from Whistler. Great for extended family. Includes beautiful separate entrance suite. Perfect for in-laws or out of town family for added privacy.
Located in the most desirable area of Greater Vancouver, this furnished West Vancouver colonial style home is situated at the end of a quiet, child friendly cul-de-sac on an estate-sized property overlooking a salmon bearing creek and green belt. If privacy and tranquility is what you are after then search no further. With over half an acre of forest including a creek, the setting is a stunning west coast wilderness.
Around back is access to the stunning 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite with its own living room, kitchen and private covered outdoor heated patio with fire table (usable even when its cold and raining outside).
Location, location, location!!! One of the best features of this home is its strategic location to enjoy all that Vancouver has to offer if mountain recreation is what you seek, Cypress and Grouse Mountain are a short 15 minute drive away and world famous Whistler Mountain is just over an hour away. The beach and local hotspot, the Sea Wall, are only 5 minutes away. If you have children in tow, within a short walking distance are basketball and tennis courts that are free to the public as well as couple playgrounds.
The area, known as Cedardale, is one of the quietest neighbourhoods in West Vancouver. Like its name suggests, it is full of beautiful old cedar trees which are home to many indigenous birds such as robins, humming birds and woodpeckers as well as four legged creatures like raccoons and squirrels.
Get the best of both worlds and enjoy west coast wilderness with the convenience of city living.

The house and the location were perfect for our family reunion. Easy access to downtown, local eateries, local parks/playgrounds, and Squamish for hikes and sailing!

The place worked very well for our family and the host was the best I've ever encountered. We had a number of minor complications come up (all on my end) and the host graciously and generously worked with us to resolve them. It felt like staying at a friend's house when they are away.

Our memorable 12-day family vacation in Vancouver was based in a splendid home with every modern convenience in a stunning forest setting. We were three families with six adults and 4 children with plenty of privacy over three levels, yet with a sense of community when we were all drawn to the airy kitchen, den and deck for meals and recounting stories of our daily adventure. The piano received plenty of use, as did the fireplace. Two separate sets of washer & dryers made for quick laundering of a pile of towels. Both owners greeted us with a warm welcome and their hospitality really made their home our home. Plenty of things to experience: Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, Capilano Bridge & salmon fishing. We very highly recommend this home for anyone wishing to visit Vancouver.
