Unfortunately we stayed there the last night they were open before they closed for the season. We wanted to stay another night but they weren’t open. They welcomed our dog, had treats out, a bed for him, a special blanket and dog bowls. It was New Year’s Eve and they even provided a small bottle of champagne, on the house, for the occasion. If you went to a bigger city you’d expect to be easily paying upwards of $450 per night, if you were lucky, I know because I have. If they have a vacancy I’ll absolutely stay the night again.
They didn’t have enough staff to have the restaurant open for our stay. We were very disappointed as we read they have amazing food.

We loved everything! They went above and beyond. Everything is so clean, well-organized and the entire room is exceptionally beautiful!

Breakfast was lovely. They were meals tgat we ate in our rooms. Likely a Covid reality. I would have greatly preferred to have had breakfast in their restaurant.
Overall it was still wonderful

This is a newly refurbished hotel with about 5-6 rooms. In the front is a gourmet restaurant that was worth eating at. The room is spacious, including a wonderful bathroom. There is breakfast in the room each day, coffee and tea as well.
The parking lot is a bear, very tight and difficult to exit. There is free street parking in the front of the hotel, but it is the only downside.

All good. Restaurant exceptional.
Not much other than view which can’t be helped and is fine.

Really, we loved everything but what is most impressive is that the sheer amount of thought and care that has obviously gone into the whole place. it’s obvious that the owners have put A LOT of time in to consider how to make a better hotel. it’s not overly “fancy” or “gimmicky” - just delightful, high quality, stylish and welcoming. Oh and the owners were super friendly and accommodating.
Not a criticism but if you’re looking for a deck with a hot tub overlooking the water, this isn’t it.

The room was SO clean! The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a heated tile floor and a large shower. There was a balcony that had a table & 2 chairs that overlooked a small garden and the back part of the property, they also provided a throw blanket to snuggle and keep warm in if it’s chilly. A couple games and robes were provided too. You can stream on the large flatscreen tv. Coffee & tea in the room, a healthy & unique breakfast is provided in the mini fridge. Also a bottle of local chilled wine in their for purchase if you so choose. Loved the simplistic natural decor. SO much attention to detail.
Make sure you make a reservation to eat at the Pluvia Restaurant, it’s a beautiful dining experience.
If you are looking for an ocean view then this isn’t the place for you.
It is centrally located for easy access to everything.
I really don’t have anything negative to say, loved it all just the way it was.

Room was clean and beautifully decorated...bed was very comfortable...shower was a huge walk in...balcony to sit out on.. continental breakfast was already in our fridge for the morning..all soaps and shampoos were organic

the bed and the shower
The location was very disappointing since you come to this area and expect an ocean view. From our window, we saw a trash can…
Also there is no service. No one picks up the phone and you can only leave a message.
Most annoying is the breakfast. They are very cheap when it comes to the portion size. There is granola and yogurt which are so tiny the portions for both of us wouldn’t be sufficient even for one person.
There was also some lunch items: Quinoa with half egg but when we came back to have lunch, it was already taken away and there was cottage with meat (which we ate, as were we not told about that, and we are vegetarians, so that was a horrible experience for us). Only when we sent a message asking if we can get the kinda the next day of our 2 days stay, we understood that we missed our first day’s meal because we haven’t eaten it soon enough and we had today’s breakfast as yesterday’s lunch.
I am also attaching some photos:
1. the microscopic yogurt
2. the view from our room

The details around the room were excellent. I loved the decor from local artists, and the washroom was beautiful.
Lily and Warren were attentive, and delightful to interact with.
We also had dinner at their restaurant which is highly recommended.

Very comfortable as this is a room with both floor heating and AC unit that heats the room. The room was huge with lots of space. Everything is modern design and pleasant to look at. The bed was very comfy. Lots of nice little surprises for my puppy and I. Close to the lighthouse trail.
Wood structure so I can hear upstairs if they are being loud.

AMAZING STAY! Rooms are large and very well designed. The bed and linens are super comfortable. The provided breakfast in the morning is substantial and delicious. The bathroom was large with a great shower. The restaurant is one of the best in Canada. Location is perfect, everything in Ukee is walkable from here. Definitely staying here again if we are back in the area.
That we had to leave

Pluvio is simplicity done exceptionally well. The rooms are beautiful and have wonderful touches like French press coffee, delightful linens and blankets, cards, chilled wine in the cooler (for purchase), heated floors and an umbrella. The owners were available when needed. The breakfast was unbelievably tasty; and they accommodated allergies.
There was nothing we did not enjoy about our stay.

Lovely little touches, spotless, comfortable.
