This welcoming 3-bedroom, 3-bath apartment offers visitors convenient access to all the city has to offer. Located on the 1st floor of a historic Charleston single home built in the late 1800s, and set back from the street with off-street parking, the rental overlooks candy-colored historic homes that dot the neighborhood and provides a true Charleston experience for guests. Walkable to MUSC, CofC, King Street’s most popular retail and restaurants, & more.
The Space:

The unit features an outdoor picnic table on the porch offering guests another space to visit or dine al fresco. The property allows for one complimentary off-street parking space with additional parking available at $20/day. This apartment is on the first floor of the three-story property. Perfect spot for a small group friends trip. Each bedroom had own bathroom, and the location was perfect. Would stay again when I return.

The place was amazing and we loved having our own separate spaces. The bedroom with attached bathroom was perfect for us (3 couples). Location was great, easy walk to King St.

We loved everything about our stay here. The place is well appointed, comfortable and we loved the decor! The location is perfect! Restaurants super close by including Ladels for lunch and Southside for dinner- the aroma coming from Southside was amazing! Make sure to grab a bagel at Holey City and a cupcake from Sugar- just across the street.
George was great at communication and check-in! We will be back! ❤️

Centrally located in a great spot of Charleston! Homey environment and comfy beds to sleep on! Thank you so much Amy for your hospitality and helping unload my vehicle of wedding attire and decor!

Very cozy 3-bedroom unit with all you need for a pleasant stay. Close to restaurants and grocery store. The property manager was very attentive to our needs. I would recommend this place.

Liked the accomedations, nice separate bedrooms and showers. Very clean. But very dissapointed that parking was not outfront of our cottage. My son had to go across the street behind a delapited home and park. I am handicapped and could not have done it without my son. There was no hotwater in bathroom basins. Also experienced an annoying beeping sound that was not corrected all day and finally had to call Management to fix the problem as i didnt want it going on all night.

We had a great time here, we had 5 girls and the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms was perfect for us. We loved the living space and the newly added speaker that we could easily Bluetooth our phones too. It was only a short walk to King's street so we were able to pop to downtown anytime we liked. Everyone was so friendly, I would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, spacious place to stay with a great location!

We appreciated the location of the property. The close access to King Street made it easy to walk and we did a lot of walking! We didn't have a car, but having a parking spot in front of the property is amazing and valuable in a city with so much tight on street parking. The home has been lovingly restored. One suggestion is to have some place to put toiletries. A pedestal sink is lovely, but when women are trying to get ready for a wedding it made it challenging to have to put your makeup on the floor. There were 5 of us in the house and the walls are thick, noise did not carry. One other thought is more comfortable seating and space for six to sit since there are three bedrooms. Keep in mind, this does not prevent us from giving the place five stars, just suggestions from some well worn travelers! Thanks for letting us check in early.

Great location! Walked to King St and even back from dinner on Queen St! Appreciated having coffee provided at the property. Only downside with being on the first floor was staying below a group with small children running about on the second floor. However, we we were not at ‘home base’ often so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Our stay was 5 days! The house was clean and modern. Loved having 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. Great location close to the downtown historic district of Charleston. Would stay again!

Great location and comfortable beds. Very clean and great service. Note, this was the lower unit and you can hear the upstairs guests walking around, but it was not a big deal. The owner provides sleep noise machines which helped. The restaurant in front of the unit is very good as well.

Great location, comfortable and clean. Property manager went beyond expectations to make our stay extra special. Great recommendations and helpful.

This was our second time staying at one of this owner’s properties. His rental units are nicely decorated and full of all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. They’re also convenient to King Street and a variety of excellent restaurants. Communication from the owner is always great. Overall, a great option in the Cannonborough area, which is where many of the short-term rentals are located in Charleston.

Nice property with 3 bedrooms and three baths!
Had a great time. We were able to walk to all tours and meals.
Quiet location.
4.0
Overall this was a great property and location. The overall rating is based only on the property location and access to areas of interest. Understanding there are limitations to a historica home layout, there a few issues.
When we were at "home" between outings it was uncomfortable for the four of us to sit around and enjoy the living room space as furnishings were uncomfortable and wouldn't accomodate more than 4 people. We did take advantage of the porch which was great!
Three bedrooms w/ baths was perfect. The closets in two of the bedrooms... one had a dresser in it leaving little hanging space....the other had some sort of window coverings taking most of the space. This rendered the closets almost unusable. Two of the dresser drawers in one room could not be opened.
Lastly, I would suggest that some instructuons on TV usage would be helpful. While I did contact our host with a question, he answered "Yes" that we could access the channels about which I asked but never told me how.
Attention to these details would have made our stay so much better and improved the rating.

First time to Charleston... went with friends and we really enjoyed the location of the VRBO. We walked everywhere and enjoyed our stay. The place met our needs, it is an older home so you do hear your neighbors walking around above you but that did not bother me and it is disclosed in the reviews. There was construction in the back but the hours were respectful and the host did let us know ahead of time. Love it and would stay again.

The property is very nice. The location was new to me (having stayed closer to the Broad Street in the past) and it was a pleasant surprise - trendy area with many outstanding restaurants within walking distance.
Something went really wrong at check-in. The address given to use for the property was not accurate, no one met us at the property and we were not sent an email or any other communication as to how to check in. The number we were given to reach the owner was not answered. Thankfully Vrbo has a help line and they were able to reach to property owner for us. We were told “their system wasn’t working” - even more reason to have met us. It really did get my time together with family off on the wrong foot.
Even given the check in disappointment, I would still recommend the property and the location. While the parking situation was a little peculiar, it was great to have parking available and be able to come and go as you are in a residential area requiring a residential parking permit to park on the street.

The Book Lover's Book Club (5 adult women) from SD had a wonderful stay at this property. It was exceptionally clean, had all of the necessary items (towels, dishes, etc.) and was very cozy. We spent our evenings in the TV area sharing stories of our daily adventures, foods we ate and what our plans were for the next day. The location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property and would highly recommend it to others.

Lovely stay in Charleston
We had a fabulous time at this lovely apartment (middle unit of 3-unit building). Our apartment was well equipped and perfect for our family of four. Each of our daughters had their own room and each of the three bedrooms had their own full bathroom.
George and Morgan were great hosts and very responsive. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Lovely place
Very nicely appointed unit with many nice touches. Comfortable beds and kitchen has everything you’d want and more. We would definitely recommend to friends traveling together that want their own room and bathrooms.

Perfect!!
We were in town for my son's wedding. The wedding was magical and our stay at your home was perfect!!! Everything was clean and neat and if we had any issues, they were attended to immediately. I definitely will stay here on my next visit to Charleston!!
4.0
As described and comfortable beds.
The property is very clean and updated with everything you would need in the kitchens and bathrooms. There was plenty of seating for the amount of people it sleeps. The TV's worked and we found live TV to enjoy local news. We enjoyed the patio table on the deck for playing cards and having a meal. The only cons was the construction noise during the day going on, the heavy footed people staying above us. I will mention that the carpet in the front room is very hard on bare feet and the front bathroom shower head needs fixing.

Distant family get together
The place was nice but there were certain problems that diminished our enjoyment One bathroom was closed off completly meaning 5 had to share two bathrooms. No parking on-site as told. This was very difficult as two family members had mobility problems. Outside construction during the day was nonstop making time inside unpleasant. On the last night there we were awake most of the night because of loud music and talking upstairs. The space we occupied had very poor soundproofing. We could literally hear entire conversations from above. Luckily they were not there at the beginning of our stay
Nice place, but disappointed.

Great location but lots of construction
Trip started off with 30min before check-in owner telling me 1 of the bathrooms were out of order. We were fine but disappointed of course. Great location for walking to shops and restaurants. Just prepare yourself for 7am wake up of beeping construction trucks pulling in from the side and back. Then through out day. Also can hear people upstairs very clearly walking and talking. Was very disappointed we were not told about construction. Plus owner did not offer and money off for bathroom and construction it was a lot of money for all that. Would definitely have picked a different place.

Great place!
The pictures were very accurate. This place is clean and with a well provided kitchen. Loved sitting at the table on the porch in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine.

Awesome property, WONDERFUL hosts
This charming boutique property is historic and retains a warm rustic feel. The hosts and staff greeted us warmly and provided us with a GREAT restaurant recommendation! Charming porches and warm home feel made this a special vacation. We were able to meet several other fun guests staying at the property and ended up dining together. We took a private boat tour in the harbor, lots of shopping and a carriage ride made the weekend just perfect!

Very cute, located close enough but not on top of the hustle and bustle of King Street.
Our first mother-daughter trio and it was a huge success. The location is perfect and the apartment very accommodating with all the amenities provided. Check-in and communication was top notch. We were very pleased with our stay, Thank you!
